從保安員到全國公安英模

曾芝強出生在四川安岳的一個普通農(nóng)民家庭，扛過鋤頭，種過莊稼；當(dāng)過兵，扛過槍。為了心中夢想，他只身來到廈門特區(qū)，當(dāng)了一名車站保安員，破獲了一批大案要案，2000年被評為全國首屆“十佳保安員”，2004年被破格錄用為人民警察。

鷺島神眼

1982年10月，18歲的曾芝強參軍入伍，來到西藏某軍區(qū)貢嘎部隊服役，駐守在海拔3500米的雪域高原，經(jīng)受了高原缺氧、氣候惡劣、水土不服等艱苦環(huán)境的考驗，磨礪了聽黨話、跟黨走、能吃苦、守紀(jì)律的堅定意志和優(yōu)秀品質(zhì)。

1993年，曾芝強來到廈門車站派出所當(dāng)保安員?？此破椒财胀ǖ谋０矄T崗位，他卻深感責(zé)任重大，工作起來格外認(rèn)真、一絲不茍，絕不讓一名危險人、一件危險物從自己眼前溜過。

1995年11月的一天，正在安檢崗位值班的曾芝強突然從屏幕上發(fā)現(xiàn)一行李箱內(nèi)有1塊約２厘米厚的金屬物。憑著從軍時養(yǎng)成的敏銳，他意識到這塊金屬物絕非普通物品，遂要求開包檢查。對方神色突變，舍棄行李，扭頭就跑。曾芝強拔腿就追，一個飛撲，將此人死死按住，后在其行李箱內(nèi)查獲六四式警用手槍１支、子彈10發(fā)。經(jīng)查，此人盜竊槍支后流竄多地?fù)尳僮靼?，屢屢逃過追捕，這次來廈門只不過是想中轉(zhuǎn)，再次外逃，不承想剛到廈門就“栽”在了一名保安員手中，也終結(jié)了他的逃亡生涯。被抓后，該人松了口氣說：“逃跑的日子真不好過，天天提心吊膽。這樣也好，終究是躲不過的，現(xiàn)在終于可以睡個安穩(wěn)覺了?！?/p>

2000年10月的一天，廈門至北京西的K108次列車的旅客正在進站。一名腳步遲緩、上衣口袋略有下垂的中年男旅客引起了曾芝強的注意。就在曾芝強走上前要對這名旅客進行檢查時，該旅客轉(zhuǎn)身就跑，被曾芝強一把抓住。在仔細(xì)檢查中，曾芝強先從這名旅客身上搜出2枚自制爆炸裝置，后又搜出6枚不同包裝的自制爆炸裝置。經(jīng)查，此人姓何，追殺在廣東打工的前妻未果后，潛回江西將前妻的母親和上小學(xué)的侄子兇殘殺害后潛逃至廈門，準(zhǔn)備乘車再次制造事端。在購得K108次列車車票后，他見進站口查堵嚴(yán)密，遂將8枚自制爆炸裝置全部藏匿在身上，沒想到還是被曾芝強一眼識破。一起可能引發(fā)全國震驚的案件被曾芝強及時制止，為國家、社會消除了一大隱患。

1997年12月6日，他揪出了將303克海洛因藏在褲襠中的旅客池某。

1998年7月15日，他逮住了將803克海洛因用膠帶粘在腰間的旅客張某。

2001年4月，他從上車旅客中查獲公安部通緝在逃人員吳某，當(dāng)時吳某隨身攜帶著子彈已上膛的手槍……

10年間，他先后協(xié)助派出所破獲各類刑事案件380余起，抓獲網(wǎng)上在逃人員237人，查獲各類槍支65支，受到各級領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的充分肯定和旅客群眾的廣泛贊譽。

穿上警服的曾芝強工作更加努力，始終奮戰(zhàn)在打擊違法犯罪、維護站車治安的最前沿。他放下過往榮譽，深深告誡自己：“我是一名新兵！我要牢記的是差距不是榮譽，接下來我更不能松懈，還得好好干……”他主動拜老民警為師，經(jīng)常跟在他們身邊虛心請教、刻苦學(xué)“藝”。他還常常利用休息時間去福州，向全國英雄模范、福州鐵路公安處“查緝能手”陳善珉、方長華、丁榕等前輩求教查緝“真經(jīng)”，并結(jié)合他們的成功經(jīng)驗探索創(chuàng)新，逐漸形成了自己獨特的工作方法。憑借幾十年的查緝經(jīng)驗和一次次實戰(zhàn)的淬煉，曾芝強練就了一雙“火眼金睛”。但他深知，單靠比對身份證和用查危儀檢查行李物品的簡單技術(shù)是遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)不夠的。為把學(xué)到的知識融入日常的查緝追逃、執(zhí)法執(zhí)勤工作中，使工作更加得心應(yīng)手，他結(jié)合實際，總結(jié)出一套獨特的“查堵法”，為同行同事和徒弟提供了十分有價值的借鑒，并屢建奇功，讓魑魅魍魎無處遁形，他也被大家譽為“鷺島神眼”。

2011年4月7日10時許，曾芝強的徒弟蘇光明對一名可疑男子進行盤問時，發(fā)現(xiàn)這名男子未隨身攜帶身份證，還拒不提供家庭情況，審查陷入僵局。蘇光明叫來經(jīng)驗豐富的師傅。曾芝強到來后，通過查看男子的手機信息，發(fā)現(xiàn)其與一王姓人員聯(lián)系密切。在檢查該名可疑男子的物品時，曾芝強又發(fā)現(xiàn)一張周某和王某在廈門簽訂的租房協(xié)議，便有意識地向?qū)Ψ秸故?。對方身體微微一顫，額頭開始冒汗。經(jīng)進一步查證，曾芝強獲悉王某前一日被人故意傷害，正在醫(yī)院進行搶救。曾芝強單刀直入地問道：“是你害的王某？你就叫周某吧！”可疑男子的心理防線徹底崩潰，對犯罪事實供認(rèn)不諱。而此時，地方公安機關(guān)還在對案發(fā)現(xiàn)場進行勘驗……

2011年3月30日17時許，乘坐廈門至福州D6204次動車的旅客正排隊進站。正在車站廣場開展查緝的曾芝強，雙眼像掃描儀似的掃視著進站旅客。其中一名身高1.75米的瘦高個中年男子，臉色青白，卻好像害羞似的故意將頭上的鴨舌帽壓得低低地蓋住臉，曾芝強分析此人有“問題”。他不動聲色地上前，近距離地邊檢查邊觀察，確認(rèn)此人可能“涉毒”，心想“一定要認(rèn)真細(xì)查”。于是將其帶到警務(wù)室，來個全身上下全面檢查。經(jīng)查，此人姓陳，廈門本地人，曾芝強從其褲襠里查獲了用塑料袋包裝的粉末狀物品（后經(jīng)鑒定確定為冰毒和海洛因）。陳某見難逃查處后，急忙從口袋中掏出一沓人民幣，邊塞到曾芝強口袋中邊說：“兄弟，放我一馬，我出去后還會重重報答你！”曾芝強見狀，責(zé)令對方：“收起你的臭錢，老實交代！”此人這才耷拉著腦袋交代了販毒過程。原來，陳某在廈門毒販?zhǔn)种匈徺I了上述毒品，準(zhǔn)備帶到福州販賣，沒想到還未進站，就被曾芝強逮個正著。

2012年5月27日7時許，太原至廈門的K903次列車緩緩駛進站臺。一名留著長發(fā)的小伙子在與曾芝強目光對視的一剎那，故意用頭發(fā)擋住臉，避開他的視線。曾芝強立即將其叫住，盤問中發(fā)現(xiàn)這個人沒帶身份證，所述名字與車票信息不相符，個人信息與真實照片也對不上。曾芝強將諸多疑點一一指出，小伙子最終如實交代。他是貴州興仁人，姓黃……幾年前將同村顧某年僅8歲的女兒殺死后外逃。束手就擒的黃某嘆著氣說：“我跑了這么多年，最終還是沒能逃過這道關(guān)。”

近年來，犯罪分子的反偵查、反審查能力也在不斷增強。他們在被抓到后，經(jīng)常以無身份證件、無戶籍證明、無詳細(xì)住址為由，干擾警方的查緝工作。曾芝強從他們的口音、神態(tài)、所攜物品等方面不斷總結(jié)經(jīng)驗，并使之成為全處民警的查緝“指南”。

從警20年，曾芝強累計查破各類刑事案件200余起，抓獲網(wǎng)上在逃人員310名，抓獲嫌疑人3000余名；先后2次榮立個人一等功、4次榮立個人二等功、7次榮立個人三等功，被授予全國公安系統(tǒng)二級英雄模范、全國模范退役軍人、全國“最美基層民警”、全國優(yōu)秀人民警察等殊榮，先后3次走進人民大會堂接受黨和國家的隆重表彰。

旅客的“貼心人”

2021年，已經(jīng)57歲的曾芝強積極響應(yīng)警務(wù)改革的需要，轉(zhuǎn)任乘警崗位，主動擔(dān)起了乘警工作。到支隊報到后，支隊領(lǐng)導(dǎo)考慮到他年紀(jì)大、睡眠淺，盡量不讓他值乘過夜車、普速車和時間長的高鐵，他卻找到負(fù)責(zé)排班的支隊領(lǐng)導(dǎo)說：“要跑就跑旅客多、任務(wù)重的車，不要照顧我！”領(lǐng)導(dǎo)拗不過他，也只能把他當(dāng)年輕民警一樣用。他最長一趟值乘40多個小時，有時碰上勤務(wù)、民警家里有事，連上兩個班，他也樂此不疲。來到新的工作崗位，曾芝強發(fā)現(xiàn)經(jīng)常有粗心的旅客把隨身攜帶的行李落在車上，為了幫丟失的行李“找”旅客，做好為旅客服務(wù)這件“關(guān)鍵小事”，他在列車上創(chuàng)建“曾芝強服務(wù)崗”，將“楓橋經(jīng)驗”搬上列車。

2021年12月19日，曾芝強在值乘G1615次列車時，接列車長報告稱1名旅客下車透氣，他裝著大量現(xiàn)金的行李箱忘記帶下車，跟著動車“跑”了！此時距離下站到站只有6分鐘時間，曾芝強怕被人錯拿帶下車，立即根據(jù)旅客的描述，到車廂里尋找，卻怎么也找不到。他仔細(xì)回想了自己巡查車廂情況，結(jié)合旅客描述，確認(rèn)行李箱款式“其貌不揚”，沒有明顯標(biāo)識，很容易被人誤拿，果斷擴大尋找范圍，最終在另一節(jié)車廂的大件行李處找到。原來這個行李箱真被其他旅客錯拿了！錯拿旅客誤認(rèn)為是自己的行李箱拎到了自己行李旁邊。經(jīng)過清點，箱內(nèi)的16.8萬元現(xiàn)金一分不少，曾芝強長舒一口氣，并且好事做到底，通過車站派出所將全部現(xiàn)金完璧歸趙。該旅客將“曾芝強為旅客找回16.8萬元現(xiàn)金”的事跡發(fā)到微博上，當(dāng)日就以1.95億點擊量登上微博熱搜榜，曾芝強也成了一名“網(wǎng)紅”乘警。擔(dān)任乘警三年來，他為旅客群眾找回行李物品200多件，價值95萬元，調(diào)解旅客糾紛110余起。

“曾警官，那就多謝您了！”2024年春運首日，曾芝強接到一名旅客的求助。他告訴曾芝強，自己是通過網(wǎng)上新聞知道“曾芝強服務(wù)崗”可以護送未成年旅客獨自回家的，今年開春以來他做生意實在忙不過來，沒時間送小孩回重慶老家，想請曾芝強幫助護送小孩回家。曾芝強二話沒說，立刻答應(yīng)：“交給我，你放心！”像這樣護送孩子回家的情況，他總是一口答應(yīng)下來，還專門準(zhǔn)備了一個筆記本，遇上家長外出務(wù)工自己獨自回家的“小候鳥”們，便記錄下每個獨自回家孩子的車票信息、家長電話等，一路護送他們安全到站。截至目前，曾芝強已經(jīng)護送97名“小候鳥”安全抵達了目的地。

“曾芝強服務(wù)崗”在廈門至北京、上海、重慶、長沙的16趟長途列車普及推廣，他堅守軍人本色，立足乘警崗位化解矛盾、服務(wù)旅客、宣傳安全的事跡被人民群眾口口相傳、津津樂道。

2022年，曾芝強在車廂巡查的時候發(fā)現(xiàn)一名滿身酒氣的男性旅客躺在列車過道里，他趕緊將該名男子帶到了餐車醒酒。聽到對方有貴州口音，就用略顯蹩腳的貴州方言和對方交流，得知男子家庭經(jīng)濟困難，還要供孩子讀高中，打工過程中腿受傷后，工作不好找，感覺生活無望，于是借酒澆愁想輕生。曾芝強努力開導(dǎo)他，不僅提供現(xiàn)金支持，還承諾到廈門幫他找工作，男子感動得直掉眼淚，又重燃起生活的希望。在曾芝強的幫助下，該男子順利到一家公司當(dāng)門崗，兢兢業(yè)業(yè)，開啟了新的生活。

旅客是流動的，而曾芝強就像流水中的磐石堅定不移。他說，我曾經(jīng)也是一名農(nóng)民工，深知在異地他鄉(xiāng)被人“幫一把”的溫暖。對此，曾芝強無數(shù)次掏腰包幫助困難旅客，有時是一張車票，有時是幾百元錢，有時是買一份盒飯……

他知道自己的力量有限，于是自籌資金設(shè)立“愛心救急基金”，主動聯(lián)系愛心企業(yè)累計捐資助困13余萬元，為200多名旅客提供資助，幫助找回走失老人、小孩52名，幫助4名貧困大學(xué)生完成學(xué)業(yè)。

英模精神接續(xù)傳

“看著師傅有些駝背的身影，不再如風(fēng)的步伐，那一刻我真的感覺他老了，他也和普通老人一樣會失眠、有耳鳴，但他心中的那團火卻越來越旺?！边@是曾芝強徒弟發(fā)在朋友圈的一段話，也引起了他眾多徒弟們的共鳴。

從警20年來，曾芝強培養(yǎng)了一批又一批的優(yōu)秀民警。他慧眼識人，善于發(fā)現(xiàn)徒弟們的性格特點和特長，注重“因材施教”，為廈鐵公安培養(yǎng)專才做出了貢獻。他們有的走上了領(lǐng)導(dǎo)崗位，有的成為先進典型。他的女徒弟、乘警鄭薇薇開朗活潑、心思縝密，在曾芝強手把手的教導(dǎo)下，鉚足干勁工作，先后獲評福建省五四青年、全國鐵道團委優(yōu)秀團干部，成為全國鐵路公安一塊響當(dāng)當(dāng)?shù)慕鹱终信?。相比鄭薇薇，另一個徒弟蘇光明工作認(rèn)真細(xì)致但不善言辭，卻有著一股子閩南人吃苦耐勞的拼勁和闖勁，曾芝強就一板一眼教他查緝技巧、做群眾工作。功夫不負(fù)有心人，蘇光明查緝成績?nèi)奉I(lǐng)先，榮立個人一等功并被評為全國優(yōu)秀人民警察。他管理的線路如同他的名字一樣“光明”。曾芝強的徒弟中還有一等功臣蘇霖華、二等功臣陳曉軍等功模典型……近幾年新入警的90后、00后青年民警較多，曾芝強充分挖掘他們的特長優(yōu)點，鼓勵他們?nèi)ヒ痪€、干累活，女警陳婧玙從“嬌嬌女”轉(zhuǎn)型為“女漢子”，在做好乘警工作的同時，隨警作戰(zhàn)在宣傳第一線，致力于講好鐵警故事。

這期間，曾芝強還牽頭組建了一支負(fù)責(zé)赴香港列車值乘的女子乘警隊。為了展現(xiàn)鐵路公安的良好形象，他在支隊的大力支持下，專門挑選10名懂英語、會講閩南話和粵語的高素質(zhì)女民警，根據(jù)乘坐這趟車的旅客特點，圍繞查緝技巧、群眾工作、防盜防詐宣傳，專門對女乘警進行培訓(xùn)，手把手指導(dǎo)她們做好進港列車的治安防控工作。在他的耐心指導(dǎo)下，她們暖心服務(wù)，幫助旅客找回失物800余件，挽回經(jīng)濟損失300余萬元，被旅客親切地稱為“鐵姑娘”，成為廈港鐵路線上的一道獨特風(fēng)景。

曾芝強快要退休了，他卻說：“人民警察永不褪色，我還想再干30年！”他把“曾芝強服務(wù)崗”進一步升級為“曾芝強服務(wù)號”工作室，更多有著跟曾芝強一樣信念的年輕民警走進站、走上車，貫通車上車下，為南來北往旅客提供服務(wù)。

從警一生、清廉一世，與形形色色的違法犯罪人員打交道，曾有走私分子拿著5斤黃金要與他對半分，毒犯、逃犯拿出巨款企圖賄賂他，求曾芝強“放一馬”。在巨大的利益誘惑面前，曾芝強沒有絲毫動搖。其實，曾芝強的家庭并不富裕，妻子沒有工作，家里重?fù)?dān)全靠他一人。他說：“我在農(nóng)村長大，懂得生活不易，日子再難都動不得歪腦筋，當(dāng)警察就要對得起這身警服?！?/p>

曾芝強不善言辭，在他質(zhì)樸簡潔的話語中，出現(xiàn)最多的是“堅守”二字。

做個好警察，保護好人民，曾芝強無怨無悔。

The Trajectory of a Hero

Zeng Zhiqiang， born into a rural family in Anyue county， Sichuan province， initially worked the land as a farmer and also served in the military in his youth. In pursuit of his dreams， he moved alone to the Xiamen Special Economic Zone years ago. A security guard as he was， he played a key role in solving a series of major criminal cases. In 2000， he was recognized as one of the first Top Ten Security Guards in the country. Four years later， he was exceptionally enlisted as a police officer.

An Eagle Eye for Security

In October 1982， at the age of 18， Zeng joined the army and was assigned to the Gongga unit in Tibet. Stationed in the snowy mountains at an altitude of 3，500 meters， he endured harsh conditions， including oxygen deprivation and severe weather. It was from these challenges that his devotion and perseverance were forged.

In 1993， Zeng worked at the Xiamen Station Police Substation as a security guard. Despite the seemingly ordinary nature of the role， he felt a strong sense of responsibility and kept a wary eye on any potentially dangerous items.

One day in November 1995， while on duty， Zeng noticed something unusual on the X-ray screen： a piece of metal about two centimeters thick inside a suitcase. The sharp instincts he had developed during his military service suggested that it was no ordinary item. Zeng requested the bag be opened for inspection. The owner's expression suddenly changed; he abandoned the suitcase and bolted. Without hesitation， Zeng jumped on the man and pinned him to the ground. Inside the suitcase was a Type 64 police handgun along with 10 rounds of ammunition.

An investigation found that the man had stolen the firearm and committed a string of robberies across several cities， evading capture each time. He had wanted to use Xiamen as a transit point but encountered a vigilant security guard. His arrest marked the end of his life on the run. The man sighed with relief， \"Life on the run is unbearable， always living in fear. Maybe this is for the best. Now I can finally get a good night's sleep.\"

One day in October 2000， passengers were boarding Train K108 from Xiamen to Beijing West Station when Zeng spotted a middle-aged guy trudged along， with a slightly sagging shirt pocket. Sensing something suspicious， Zeng approached the man for inspection， but the man abruptly turned and ran. Zeng quickly grabbed him. A thorough search revealed two homemade explosive devices on the man， along with six more in different packaging.

It turned out that the suspect， surnamed He， had attempted in vain to kill his ex-wife in Guangdong province. He then returned to Jiangxi province， where he brutally murdered her mother and her young nephew before fleeing to Xiamen. While plotting further acts of violence， he concealed eight homemade explosive devices on his person after purchasing a train ticket. Despite his efforts to evade detection， Zeng's sharp instincts foiled his plan， preventing what could have been a nationally devastating incident.

On December 6， 1997， Zeng caught a passenger， surnamed Chi， who had hidden 303 grams of heroin in his pants.

On July 15， 1998， he caught another passenger， surnamed Zhang， who had taped 803 grams of heroin around his waist.

In April 2001， Zeng identified a fugitive， Wu， wanted by the Ministry of Public Security， who was carrying a loaded handgun at the time of his arrest.

Over the course of more than a decade， Zeng assisted in solving over 380 criminal cases， capturing 237 fugitives on the national wanted list， and seizing 65 firearms. His exceptional contributions earned him great acclaim， official and popular.

After officially becoming a police officer， Zeng worked even harder， staying at the forefront of fighting crime. Putting his past accolades aside， he constantly reminded himself， \"I am just a rookie！ I need to bridge the gap between myself and those who are better and not basking in the past glory. I must keep working harder.\"

Zeng sought mentorship from veteran officers， dedicating his free time to traveling to Fuzhou to consult renowned criminal experts from the Fuzhou Railway Public Security Bureau. By diligently learning from their expertise and building on their successful experiences， Zeng developed his own unique methods.

With decades of experience， Zeng honed his skills to an exceptional level， gaining recognition for his sharp observational abilities. Yet， he understood that relying solely on ID checks and luggage scanners was insufficient. To integrate his expertise into daily work， Zeng devised a distinctive set of security inspection methods. This innovative approach not only improved his efficiency but also proved conducive to his colleagues' daily work He has since been praised as a \"man with eagle eyes.\" Nothing suspicious could escape his notice.

At around 10 a.m. on April 7， 2011， one of Zeng's trainees Su Guangming was questioning a suspect who had no ID with him and refused to provide any personal details， stalling the investigation. Su called in his experienced mentor， Zeng， for assistance. Upon arriving， Zeng examined the man's phone and noticed his frequent contact with someone surnamed Wang. A search of his belongings also revealed a rental agreement signed in Xiamen by individuals surnamed Zhou and Wang.

Zeng deliberately displayed the document to the man， whose body stiffened and forehead began to sweat. It transpired that Wang had been deliberately injured the previous day and was receiving emergency treatment at a hospital. Cutting straight to the point， Zeng asked， \"Did you harm Wang？ Your name must be Zhou， right？\" The suspect's psychological defenses completely collapsed， and he confessed on the spot. Remarkably， at that moment， local law enforcement was still processing the scene of his offense.

On March 30， 2011， at around 5 p.m.， passengers were lining up to board high-speed Train D6204 from Xiamen to Fuzhou. In the station plaza， Zeng was scanning the crowd with his keen eyes. Among the travelers， he noticed a thin man， about 1.75 meters in height. The man's pale complexion and the way he deliberately pulled his baseball cap low immediately caught Zeng's attention and struck him as dodgy.

Zeng maintained his composure and began a routine inspection though he was confident that the guy was involved in drug-related activity. Zeng decided on a thorough search. In the station's police office， Chen was found to have hidden powdered substances in plastic bags in his pants， which were later identified as methamphetamine and heroin.

At this， Chen quickly pulled out a handful of cash from his pocket， pleading， \"Brother， let me go， and I'll repay you generously later.\" Without hesitation， Zeng ordered， \"Take back your dirty money and tell me the truth！\"

With no other options， Chen lowered his head and admitted to his crime. He revealed that he had purchased the drugs from a Xiamen dealer and planned to sell them in Fuzhou. To his dismay， he was caught by Zeng before even boarding the train.

Around 7 a.m. on May 27， 2012， Train K903 from Taiyuan pulled into Xiamen station. A long-haired young man caught Zeng's attention when he briefly made eye contact with Zeng， only to quickly hide his face behind his hair， avoiding any further interaction. Sensing something was wrong， Zeng stopped him for questioning. The man didn't have an ID， and the name he gave didn't match the one on his ticket. On top of that， his physical description didn't conform to the details he provided.

Pointing out these discrepancies one by one， Zeng eventually got the man to confess. He was surnamed Huang and came from Xingren city， Guizhou province. Years earlier， Huang had murdered an eight-year-old girl from his village and fled. Now resigned to his fate， Huang sighed and said， \"I've been at large for years and I've never thought I would fall into your hands.\"

In recent years， criminals have become increasingly skilled at evading police investigations. Zeng， however， has refined his professional techniques and compiled them into a field manual， providing valuable guidance for colleagues in their investigations.

Over 20 years in law enforcement， Zeng has solved over 200 criminal cases， apprehended 310 fugitives on national wanted lists， and captured more than 3，000 suspects. He has been awarded the personal first-class merit twice， second-class merit four times， and third-class merit seven times. In his new role， Zeng noticed that passengers would sometimes leave their belongings behind on trains. To help reunite them with their lost items， he established the \"Zeng Zhiqiang Service Post\" and brought the principles of the \"Fengqiao Experience\" to life onboard， a symbol of successful social governance practices that fostered a culture of care and responsibility.

On December 19， 2021， on train G1615， Zeng received a report from the conductor about a passenger who had stepped off the train to get some fresh air at a station， only to find that the train had run away with his suitcase， which contained a large amount of cash. With only six minutes until the train arrived at the next station， Zeng immediately began searching for it based on the passenger's description. However， despite his efforts， the suitcase was nowhere to be found.

Recalling the passenger's description， Zeng realized the suitcase might have been taken by mistake due to its plain appearance. He quickly widened his search and eventually found it in the luggage area of another carriage. It turned out that another passenger had mistakenly picked it up.

After confirming the contents， Zeng found that the suitcase still held the full amount of 168，000 yuan in cash. The money was returned to its rightful owner through the station police office. Grateful for Zeng's efforts， the passenger shared the story on Weibo， where it quickly went viral， garnering 195 million views and turning Zeng into a \"celebrity\" officer. During his three-year service on the train， Zeng has helped passengers recover over 200 lost items worth a total of 950，000 yuan and mediated more than 110 passenger disputes.

\"Officer Zeng， thank you so much！\" one passenger remarked. On the first day of the 2024 Spring Festival travel rush， Zeng received a request for assistance from a man who had read online news about the Zeng Zhiqiang Service Post offering support for unaccompanied minors traveling home. Occupied with his business since the start of the year， he was unable to accompany his child back to their hometown in Chongqing.

Without hesitation， Zeng agreed， saying， \"Leave your child to me. No problem！\" Requests like this were always met with reassuring responses from Zeng. He even maintained a dedicated notebook to record the travelling details about unaccompanied children， ensuring their safe arrival at their destinations. To date， Zeng has successfully escorted 97 such children safely to their homes.

The Zeng Zhiqiang Service Post was later expanded to 16 long-distance trains traveling from Xiamen to Beijing， Shanghai， Chongqing， and Changsha. Upholding his soldier's qualities， Zeng was widely praised by the public for his outstanding work in his role as a train police officer.

In 2022， while patrolling the train， Zeng found a male passenger reeking of alcohol in the aisle. He quickly escorted the man to the dining car to sober up. Noticing the man spoke with a Guizhou accent， Zeng， though not fluent， attempted to communicate with him. The man explained that he was facing financial difficulties， working hard to support his child's education. When he injured his leg on the job he found it harder to land a job. Then he abandoned himself to alcohol， even contemplating suicide. Zeng offered financial assistance and promised him a job in Xiamen. The man， deeply moved， gradually regained hope for the future. With Zeng's help， he secured a job as a security guard and began a new chapter in his life.

Passengers may come and go， but Zeng has always been their rock. He often says， \"I used to be a migrant worker myself， so I really know what it's like to be given a hand when in need.\" With this empathy， Zeng has countless times reached into his own pocket to assist travelers—sometimes buying a ticket， other times giving a few hundred yuan， or simply purchasing a boxed meal.

Fully aware of his limits， Zeng raised some money and established a \"Charity Emergency Fund\". He was active in cooperation charitable enterprises to donate over 130，000 yuan to support those in need. Over his 20 years in law enforcement， Zeng has cultivated generation after generation of outstanding police officers. With a sharp eye for identifying talent， he tailored his teaching to match each trainee's unique personality and strengths， fostering specialized skills for the Xiamen Railway Police Bureau. Many of his trainees have risen to leadership positions， while others have become shining examples of excellence in the field.

One of his trainees， train officer Zheng Weiwei， is known for her cheerful personality and strong dedication. Under Zeng's hands-on mentorship， she excelled in her work， earning accolades such as the Fujian May Fourth Youth and the Outstanding Youth League Leader of the National Railway System. Zheng has since become a prominent figure in the national railway police system.

In contrast， another of his trainees， Su Guangming， is detail-oriented but less outspoken—a typical hardworking Minnan native with a natural resilience and tenacity. Smugglers once offered him more than five pounds of gold to split with them， and drug traffickers and fugitives repeatedly tried to bribe him with large sums of money， pleading for leniency.
