備受高考青睞的“ｏｕｔ”短語

在高考中，動詞歷來是考查的重點(diǎn)，其中對動詞短語的考查占有很大的比重，這類題目主要考查動詞短語（詞組）的含義辨析以及在特定語境中的靈活運(yùn)用。通過深入研究歷年來的高考試題，筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)以副詞“out”構(gòu)成的動詞短語非常受“青睞”，本文通過列舉歷屆高考題中對“out”短語的考查，透析“out”短語的用法，以期對廣大考生和英語教師有所幫助和啟發(fā)。

一、 單項(xiàng)選擇題中對“out”短語的考查

1. —Its a good idea. But whos going to________the plan?

A. set aside B. carry out

C. take in D. get through

解析： B。carry out 執(zhí)行；開展；實(shí)施；set aside把……置于一旁；take in接受，吸收；get through通過。

2. We didnt plan our art exhibition like that but it________very well. (2001NMET)

A. worked out B. tried out

C. went on D. carried on

解析： A。 work out此處意為“成功；產(chǎn)生結(jié)果”，此外還有“算出；制定；鍛煉”的意思；try out試驗(yàn)。

3. Can you make a sentence to________the meaning of the phrase? (2002上海)

A. show off__ B. turn off

C. bring out__ D. take in

解析： C。bring out 使顯出（特性），推出（新產(chǎn)品）；show off炫耀；turn off關(guān)掉（水、電，氣等）；take in吸收，欺騙。

解析： A。let out泄露，吐露出他與妻子吵架的情況；make out看出，理解。

解析： A。look out小心。提醒對方小心玻璃。

解析： B。turn out結(jié)果是，結(jié)果證明；make out看出；go on繼續(xù)；come up提出。

解析： B。 pick out認(rèn)出，挑選出；find out找出，查明；look out注意，當(dāng)心；speak out大膽地說。

C. start out D. go out

解析： B。come out出版，發(fā)行，出來；turn out證明是，結(jié)果；start out出發(fā)，動身；go out外出，（燈火）熄滅。

解析： A。 give out用完，耗盡，分發(fā)；put out撲滅（火）；hold up延誤；use up用光；如果選擇D，應(yīng)用被動語態(tài)。

解析： A。break out（火災(zāi)、地震、戰(zhàn)爭）爆發(fā)；put out熄滅；come out出來，出版； get out（滾）出去。

解析： D。 pick out認(rèn)出，挑選出。句意為“電影院里是那么黑，以至于我?guī)缀跽J(rèn)不出我的朋友來。“call out”要求來，下令罷工”。

解析： C。give out發(fā)出（熱、氣味等），分發(fā)，耗盡，本題中意思是“發(fā)布消息”。turn out結(jié)果是；find out發(fā)現(xiàn)，查明；carry out實(shí)施，執(zhí)行，開展。

二、 完形填空題中對out短語的考查

本題考查動詞短語bring out。bring out使……出現(xiàn)。夏天穿著整潔的、束腰的棉布衣服，帽子低低地蓋住太陽鏡。其它三個選項(xiàng)中的動詞雖然都可以和out搭配，但都要以人作主語。
