【摘要】為了提高讀后續(xù)寫教學(xué)的有效性,本文以浙江省2017年11月英語高考讀后續(xù)寫原文為例,解析了如何一步步設(shè)問引導(dǎo)學(xué)生更有效地進(jìn)行讀后續(xù)寫。

一、引言
本文屬于記敘文。故事情節(jié)清晰明了,人物關(guān)系簡單,語言描述樸實(shí)。本文閱讀難度不高,兩段續(xù)寫段首句也比較簡單。
二、教學(xué)過程
步驟一:讀文本標(biāo)題
T: To begin with, read the title and tell me what you should refer to in your continuation writing according to the title.
T: What does “with” suggest?
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】:本環(huán)節(jié)旨在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生充分挖掘有標(biāo)題文本中標(biāo)題所能提供的信息,能夠分析標(biāo)題、詞、句等信息,并進(jìn)行邏輯推理。
步驟二:細(xì)讀文本,梳理情節(jié)發(fā)展
【Reading for the plot and conflict】
Step 1: Read quickly to catch the basic information about the story: setting, characters and event.
Teacher can ask students the following questions:
1. When did the story happen?
2. Who are mentioned in the story? What’s the relationship among them?
3. What would they do during the trip?
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】:學(xué)生快速重讀文本,找出故事發(fā)生的時(shí)間、人物和主要事件。尤其是對“what”的梳理,有助于學(xué)生理清故事發(fā)展脈絡(luò),初步了解續(xù)寫兩段可能涉及的內(nèi)容。
Step 2: Ask students to read paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 to find out what happened during the trip.
Teacher can ask students the following questions:
1. What happened during the trip?
2. What’s the conflict between Mom and other family members?
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】:本環(huán)節(jié)旨在通過討論旅途中發(fā)生的事件,找出并分析文本中出現(xiàn)的矛盾沖突---“媽媽要在別人家的院子里搭帳篷而我們和父親都不同意”,同時(shí)也引導(dǎo)學(xué)生抓住關(guān)鍵人物媽媽的性格品質(zhì)。
【Reading for the character’s personalities】
Teacher can ask students the following questions:
1. What kind of person is Mom?
2. What supporting sentences can you find to convey Mom’s personalities?
3. What’s my childhood like due to Mom’s personalities? --- an interesting childhood; filled with surprises and amusements
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】:結(jié)合Mom性格特征回顧para.1,學(xué)生會(huì)對續(xù)寫故事的基調(diào)更加清晰,即由于Mom的“forgetful, absent-minded”所導(dǎo)致的一次“interesting/surprising/amusing/strange trip”。
步驟三:分析續(xù)寫兩段已給首句
T: What will we write about in this paragraph?
T: What detailed description can we have in this situation?
T: What will we write about in paragraph 2 after the first sentence---We drove through several states and saw lots of great sights along the way?
T: Was there any interesting thing/surprise in paragraph 2?
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】:續(xù)寫兩段的段首句能在一定程度上限制學(xué)生寫作的方向,因此我們需要仔細(xì)研讀分析每段段首句并且考慮到兩段之間的邏輯聯(lián)系和故事走向。在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生的過程中還要啟發(fā)學(xué)生注意人物情緒、動(dòng)作描寫和環(huán)境描寫等,從而豐富續(xù)寫內(nèi)容,并讓學(xué)生了解到“續(xù)寫中需要細(xì)節(jié)描寫以充實(shí)文本”這一寫作技巧。
步驟四:續(xù)寫、分享與評價(jià)
Q1: Are there any key words?
Q2: Is the plot and content logical?
Q3: Is the context coherent?
Q4: Is Mom’s personalities changed?
Q5: Are there any good sentences and advanced vocabulary?
【設(shè)計(jì)說明】:通過評價(jià),學(xué)生能更深刻了解自己寫作中的不足,加以改進(jìn),并且促進(jìn)了學(xué)生評判性思維的發(fā)展。
四、結(jié)束語
本次教學(xué)活動(dòng)通過“讀前導(dǎo)入---文本細(xì)讀探究---讀后續(xù)寫”這三大部分,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在閱讀中關(guān)注續(xù)寫任務(wù)的意識(shí)。另外,教師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生模仿原文本中的語言與句型,并通過對人物情緒,動(dòng)作和環(huán)境等進(jìn)行細(xì)致具體的描寫來豐富續(xù)寫內(nèi)容。
