主編的話

The inspiring long articleUnderstanding Urban Development in Germanyby the famous German scholar Klaus R. Kunzmann will be published in two issues in this issue and the next issue. I hope his idea can be used to think about the development of Chinese cities. Here, I would like to thank Professor Kunzman for providing a high-level academic article for this journal. TheUnglazed Fragments: Shenyao Art Center - Phase Iproject provided by Atelier LIU Yuyang Architects shows a complete case of industrial building reuse in urban areas. Here, I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. LIU Yuyang.

The [Space Syntax] column, hosted by the deputy editor-in-chief YANG Tao, has published dozens of articles on Space Syntax. The article “Beyond Placemaking” published in this issue is by Professor Tim Stonor, General Manager of London Space Syntax. Thanks to scholars from all over the world for their support of the [Space Syntax] column.

德國著名學者克勞斯·昆茨曼（Klaus R. Kunzmann）教授極富啟發(fā)價值的長篇文章《了解德國的城市發(fā)展》將在本期和下一期分兩期刊登。城市發(fā)展有自身特色，也有其共同的演進規(guī)律，希望該文對思考中國城市的發(fā)展有所借鑒。感謝昆茨曼教授再次為本刊提供高水平的學術文章。劉宇揚事務所提供的“素胚瓷片：申窯藝術中心（一期）”項目展示了城市地區(qū)工業(yè)建筑改造的示范案例。在此，對劉宇揚先生表示感謝。

由期刊副主編楊滔主持的[空間句法]專欄已經連續(xù)刊登了數十篇有關空間句法的文章。[空間句法]專欄也構成了《城市設計》期刊一道靚麗的風景線。本期刊登的《超越場所營造》一文來自倫敦空間句法公司總經理提姆·斯通納（Tim Stonor）教授。感謝來自世界各地學者對[空間句法]專欄的大力支持。
