1.今天早上我給你打電話的時候，你在干什么？

【誤】What did you do when I call you today morning？

【析】（1）今天早上不能翻譯成today morning或 today'smorning，要翻譯成 thismorning。但要注意不能寫成in this morning，因為this、that等后面接時間，前面通常不用介詞。

（2）把call改成called。今天早上打的電話，是過去時。

（3）主句要改為whatwere you doing。從句whenIcalled you thismorning是一個過去的時間點，主句要用過去進行時。

【正】What were you doing when Icalled you this morning？

2.我在很多人前面講話時會有點兒緊張。

【誤】I will be a bit of nervous when Ispeak in the face of many people.

【析】（1）abitof后接不可數(shù)名詞，nervous是形容詞，所以要改為abitnervous。另外，表示“有一點兒”，修飾形容詞或副詞，還可以用alittle、alittlebit或kindof。

（2）注意不要把nervous寫成serious。這兩個單詞的含義不同。

（3）inthefaceof意為“面對”，而“在前面”要翻譯成in front of
