He had no idea.The first thing,of course,was to go and report it to the police.He had no alternative but to head off on foot to go to the local police station,which was 2 miles away.About one hour later,Jones arrived at the tiny police station,hot and sweating,despite the cold weather,and with very sore feet.

It must be an exhausting day.”However,just as Jones was drifting off(迷迷糊糊地睡去),he peered out of the window.And there is it was.His car.His lovely car.And it was travelling in the opposite direction.He jumped up.“Stop!”he shouted.“That was my stolen car outside!”
