【摘要】很多人認(rèn)為,游戲教學(xué)只適合于兒童時(shí)代的教學(xué),因此,在語(yǔ)言的教學(xué)中,隨著年齡的增長(zhǎng),“游戲”逐漸淡出了語(yǔ)言教學(xué)課堂。特別是六年級(jí)的英語(yǔ)教學(xué),處境十分的尷尬:應(yīng)試和升學(xué)的壓力,使得語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí)極具功利性,學(xué)生對(duì)于語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí),在很大的程度上都是為了考試。這里當(dāng)然有歷史和社會(huì)的原因,也是我們暫時(shí)無(wú)法改變的事實(shí)。問(wèn)題是,如何在這樣的背景下探索教學(xué)新路徑,既能顧及學(xué)習(xí)中的情趣,又能有效地提高學(xué)生的應(yīng)試能力?這是我們一線教師無(wú)時(shí)無(wú)刻都需要思考的問(wèn)題。

目前,受應(yīng)試制度影響,學(xué)生在英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)中遇到的一個(gè)大問(wèn)題就是詞匯的記憶。雖然我們明確地反對(duì)“死記硬背”,而鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生在篇章閱讀、對(duì)話應(yīng)用等具體環(huán)境下的語(yǔ)言運(yùn)用來(lái)加強(qiáng)詞匯的記憶,但功課的繁重、學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間的分割,使得學(xué)生和教師在這個(gè)問(wèn)題上無(wú)所適從。但下面這個(gè)課例卻給了我們這樣的提示:在六年級(jí)的英語(yǔ)課堂上,我們可以運(yùn)用“游戲教學(xué)法”,有效地促進(jìn)學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)與運(yùn)用。在課堂的教學(xué)中,我們可以穿插一些經(jīng)過(guò)精心設(shè)計(jì)的游戲來(lái)有效地提升學(xué)生對(duì)基礎(chǔ)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的記憶,以及使得語(yǔ)言的學(xué)習(xí)變得趣味十足,而不是枯燥無(wú)味。
首先,我們來(lái)看看這一課例:
Lesson Plan:

Introduction to Present Continuous Tense
1.Lesson focus:
Vocabulary building, use of the Present Continuous Time

B.Student will be able to talk in Present Continuous Tense.
C.Students will be able to express their own opinions.
D.Students will be able to build sentences describing what their classmates are wearing.

Step one: Greeting
Greet the students and roll call
T: Good afternoon, everyone. How are you doing? Who is not here today?
Step two: warm-up
T: Would you like to play a game now?
S: Yes!
T: How about “Sausage”? I need a student to come here and sit in my chair. Who wants to come? Johnson!

Please sit down and answer all the questions that other students might ask with only one answer:sausage! If you smile or change the answer--you will lose your turn.
