半稱(chēng)心的名字是指“稱(chēng)心”之半，不求周全，不求圓滿(mǎn)。這既反映了業(yè)主的心態(tài)，也是我們?cè)O(shè)計(jì)所追求的一種境界。

基地位于成都平原的壽安鎮(zhèn)，這里是成都苗木的集散地，基地本身并無(wú)特別可資借用的景觀。因此，我們?cè)O(shè)計(jì)的目標(biāo)就是營(yíng)造一個(gè)自足的世界。

酒店客房是由4個(gè)院落和兩個(gè)單棟公共服務(wù)單體組成的，每個(gè)院落有5間客房和一個(gè)共用廳堂，房屋和庭院相互交織，一一鋪陳。整體布局如同編織，從簡(jiǎn)單的經(jīng)緯結(jié)構(gòu)開(kāi)始，將心中的一點(diǎn)意向，向具體而微的情境發(fā)散。設(shè)計(jì)中我們有意識(shí)地引用“翠玲瓏”“五峰仙館”等園林的局部為空間原型，以連綴形成進(jìn)深，以戶(hù)牖截取面寬，以可感知的空間序列組織院落自然，形成一個(gè)個(gè)獨(dú)立又融合的空間局部，使人們?cè)隗w驗(yàn)這些局部的過(guò)程中，獲得了對(duì)這個(gè)“自足世界”的整體感受。

"Banchenxin" literally means half-satisfaction in Chinese, pursuing a state of imperfection and non-thoroughness. This reflects the mindset of property owners, as well as the goal of our design.

The property is located in Shouan Town on the Chengdu Plain, where sits the city's biggest distribution centre of nursery stock. Inside the property, there is not much landscape to leverage on. Therefore, the goal of our design is to create a self-sufficient world.

The hotel rooms consist of four yards and two stand-alone service buildings, with five bedrooms and a shared living room in each yard, with the buildings and yards interwoven into each other and spreading out one after another. We try to visualise the image in our mind, starting from a simple warp and weft structure, then forming a specific and representational scenario. The whole layout is like plaiting art craft. In the course of designing, we deliberately refer to part of the layout of the famous gardens like "Cui Ling Long"and "Wu Feng Xian Guan" as a prototype space,to form depth in tandem, to arrange doors and windows breadthwise, to pursue a naturally organised yard, to form a bunch of independent and integrated spaces. In experiencing these spaces, we gain an overall sense of the "selfsufficient world".
