馬蒂亞斯·施特勞斯訪談

2020年1月期的《世界建筑》以新近設(shè)立的“世界未來城市計劃”（IUPA）獎項為主題，研討在近年世界各地城市出現(xiàn)的以直接作用于居民生活質(zhì)量提升的城市更新實(shí)驗。設(shè)立這一獎項的初衷亦為這一研討的一部分，其緣起即決定了著眼點(diǎn)與發(fā)展方向。在此，我們的訪談對象是來自慕尼黑博覽集團(tuán)的馬蒂亞斯·施特勞斯先生。

WA：您從什么時候開始與德國《建筑世界》合作組織“世界未來城市計劃”（IUPA）賽事？

馬蒂亞斯：自2014年我們最初來到中國，我們便開始與《建筑世界》合作，那也是我們首次與《建筑世界》一起組織BAU大會這一國際大會。2018年在中國的展覽會中，我們討論并組織了一項國際化的獎項，2019年就是我們組織競賽的第一年。

WA：為什么要組織有關(guān)城市項目的競賽？

馬蒂亞斯：我認(rèn)為城市項目對于大小城市都是非常必要的。這意味著要在市區(qū)中就該地區(qū)的環(huán)境創(chuàng)造出色的建筑，以便人們可以有賓至如歸的感覺，并獲得更多的機(jī)會去認(rèn)識自己所在的地方，這就是我們決定創(chuàng)辦城市項目獎而不是建筑獎的原因。在周圍環(huán)境中，營造更多的建筑感知和建筑設(shè)計。

WA：您對參選的項目有何看法？

馬蒂亞斯：來自21個國家的45個參選項目都是完美的項目。許多在國際上的知名公司和建筑集團(tuán)都提交了申請，難分伯仲。

WA：您如何看待IUPA的影響力？

馬蒂亞斯：我很確定，該獎項將在未來對中國建筑集團(tuán)和建筑師以及在中國工作的國際建筑師會產(chǎn)生重大影響。你可以從這些項目中發(fā)現(xiàn)非常好的項目和已經(jīng)建成的項目。對于未來，我認(rèn)為建筑師也會從中受到很大的影響并做出改變。比如，提升建筑的質(zhì)量，擴(kuò)大建筑師的影響力。

WA：您認(rèn)為自己將會為IUPA負(fù)責(zé)多久？

馬蒂亞斯：評審團(tuán)真的非常優(yōu)秀，這是個起點(diǎn)，是一個非常成功的起點(diǎn)。我相信我們會延續(xù)此年度項目，這是一個創(chuàng)新的開始。

WA：您認(rèn)為會有更多的中國項目參與嗎？

馬蒂亞斯：這是肯定的。我們也將繼續(xù)組織IUPA，并于2020年10月-11月初在北京舉行BAU中國展會。我認(rèn)為有了這次經(jīng)驗后，下次的申請會在2020年初推出，以便我們可以為此做更好的準(zhǔn)備。而且如果中國建筑師了解到IUPA，他們也可以更早地申請?！?/p>

WA: From what time do you have cooperation with Bauwelt for International Urban Project Award?

MS: We start with Bauwelt to work together from the first moment we move to China was in 2014, the first time we organised together with Bauwelt in the BAU congress, an international congress. We talked and discussed in 2018 to arrange an award, a national and international award, during our fair about China. And 2019 is the first year we have arranged it.

WA: Why is this competition for the urban projects?

MS: I think urban project is very necessary for small cities and big cities. That means to create an outstanding building in the surrounding of the urban area so that the people can get the feeling to be home or to get more to realise where they are. That is why we decided to realise an urban project award and not going in an architecture award. That is in the surrounding of more architectural feeling and architectural design.

WA: What do you think about the entries projects?

MS: They are perfect. About 45 projects around 21 contries applied for IUPA. International high ranked company and architectural groups applied for it and I am curious to see which one will be the winner.

WA: What do you think about the influence for IUPA?

MS: I am pretty sure IUPA will be a big influence of the Chinese architectural groups and architects in the future, as well for international architects here in China, so you can see with that examples, really good examples, realised examples. And for that in future, I think and I guess also the architects get a big influence from that and change. For example, their quality in the buildings and the influence of the architects are getting more and more higher here in China compared to the past.

WA: How long do you think you will be responsible for IUPA?

MS: This is the first start and a very successful start because we have really good jury. I believe and I have no doubt that we will keep this for yearly award in the future, I think it is a non-tradition start.

WA: Do you think there will be more Chinese projects?

MS: Sure. We will do this apparently also and then our BAU China show in Beijing in October to November 2020. I think after this award, the application can start in early 2020 so that we can prepare better for that and the Chinese architects if they get the knowledge about IUPA, they can apply earlier.□
