Kokaistudios與四季酒店集團(tuán)合作的最新項(xiàng)目—Dai Forni高級(jí)意大利美食餐廳隆重開幕。餐廳坐落在全新修建的科威特四季酒店頂層，堪稱布爾吉阿爾薩亞大樓的一顆璀璨之星。Kokaistudios與四季酒店集團(tuán)在此前已經(jīng)有過(guò)合作，負(fù)責(zé)打造了京都四季酒店全日餐廳。這一次，四季酒店團(tuán)隊(duì)邀請(qǐng) Kokaistudios 構(gòu)思出一個(gè)高雅的餐飲空間，將意式的清新氣息和美妙味覺(jué)帶到科威特。

設(shè)計(jì)流程的起點(diǎn)是搜尋整個(gè)意大利，從而在其深厚的美食傳統(tǒng)中選擇具體的地理位置和美食風(fēng)格。很快設(shè)計(jì)師鎖定了地中海地區(qū)尤其是西西里島的口感、風(fēng)味和食材；西西里一直是中東和歐洲文化匯聚之地。Dai Forni將呈現(xiàn)一種新興的區(qū)域性美食文化趨勢(shì)，而非國(guó)家美食；餐廳的設(shè)計(jì)和菜品就是這一趨勢(shì)最好的證明。

餐廳的入口處迎面一道寬大的綠色植物墻，采用多種當(dāng)?shù)氐纳衬参锲床宸N植，別具一格，精心營(yíng)造出一處令人備感愜意綠洲空間；一道砂巖地板鋪就的走廊延伸至主餐區(qū)，以火為主題的廊柱比鄰而立，與以水為主題的Sintoho餐廳形成對(duì)比；主餐區(qū)的中央設(shè)有意大利手工鍛制的玫瑰銅色餐臺(tái)，華而不妖。

Media Contact: Jacqueline Chiang令空間更顯開闊大氣，整座城市和遠(yuǎn)方波斯灣的壯美風(fēng)光盡收眼底。設(shè)計(jì)師在窗前安裝了獨(dú)家定制的金屬網(wǎng)簾，在漫射燈光系統(tǒng)的照耀下，閃耀著柔和的光彩。由于白天日照強(qiáng)烈、氣溫極高，設(shè)計(jì)師創(chuàng)造了一種復(fù)雜的激光窗簾系統(tǒng)，將熱量隔絕在外，保持室內(nèi)涼爽。

入口走廊的右邊的顯眼位置是三個(gè)巨大的在澳大利亞定制的銅制火爐。 作為燃料的木材選自匈牙利， 爐內(nèi)現(xiàn)烤的披薩和面包帶有一股獨(dú)特的清香。設(shè)計(jì)師還專門設(shè)計(jì)了三個(gè)半圓席座，席座背面采用西西里島熔巖墻裝飾，以供賓客近距離參觀廚師的工作場(chǎng)景。

半圓席座和定制設(shè)計(jì)的枝形吊燈的靈感均來(lái)源于傳統(tǒng)的西西里島編織籃，設(shè)計(jì)師還將這一想法擴(kuò)展至兩個(gè)內(nèi)部相連的私人用餐室，私人用餐室的墻面由粗繩編織而成，與雕刻復(fù)雜圖案的可麗耐大理石門和日光屏形成鮮明的對(duì)比。雕刻圖案的靈感來(lái)自當(dāng)?shù)氐拇盎▓D案，事實(shí)上這也是西西里島傳統(tǒng)的花邊紋樣。

餐廳的設(shè)計(jì)聚焦于火，而衛(wèi)生間則可以提神放松，墻面采用手繪藍(lán)白意大利瓷磚，還安裝了瀑布視頻裝置，該裝置由上海Flatmind視頻設(shè)計(jì)公司設(shè)計(jì)。

餐廳與毗鄰的亞洲Sintoho餐廳共用戶外用餐區(qū)，該用餐區(qū)同樣由 Kokaistudios 操刀設(shè)計(jì)。為了延續(xù)綠洲這一理念，設(shè)計(jì)師定制設(shè)計(jì)了一個(gè)巨大的水晶雕塑充當(dāng)中央水景，為這一餐區(qū)畫龍點(diǎn)睛。

通過(guò)與意大利及澳大利亞等全球著名的工匠合作、結(jié)合精妙的設(shè)計(jì)方法、以及專注于多重感官的吸引力，設(shè)計(jì)師創(chuàng)造的項(xiàng)目既植根于中東文化，又真實(shí)展現(xiàn)了地中海和西西里島的飲食文化。

3 窗邊就餐區(qū)

在此項(xiàng)目中，Kokaistudios 進(jìn)一步將強(qiáng)烈的建筑手法帶入到室內(nèi)設(shè)計(jì)中，并創(chuàng)新地運(yùn)用材料和燈光營(yíng)造人與空間之間柔和中有驚喜的微妙感覺(jué)。各類手工打造的細(xì)節(jié)以最精細(xì)的狀態(tài)呈現(xiàn)出來(lái)，與空間的晝夜光景水乳交融，讓空間整體呈現(xiàn)出強(qiáng)大的表現(xiàn)力。

Kokaistudios is delighted to announce the opening of our newest project with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts; the Dai Forni Italian fi ne dining restaurant located on the top floor of the newly built Four Seasons Kuwait in the BurjAlshaya building. Having previously worked together on the Brasserie at the Four Seasons Kyoto the Four Seasons team invited Kokaistudios to conceive an elegant F&B destination bringing the freshness and tastes of Italy to Kuwait.

The starting point of the design process was to canvas Italy and determine which part of its vast culinary heritage and geography to focus on and we quickly settled upon the tastes, smells and textures of the Mediterranean and in particular the island of Sicily; long the meeting point between the cultures of the Middle East and Europe. Dai Forni is part of the emerging global cultural culinary trend of regional rather than national cuisines; and the restaurant design and cuisine are a testament to this trend.

We envisioned the space as an oasis for all ofthe senses with the entrance characterized by an immense green wall; itself an innovative structure filled with local desert plant varietals; and large fi re pillars that frame the entrance experience and bring the guests along a sandstone fl oored corridor into main dining areas centered by an expansive antipasti counter covered in a pink hued hand treated cooper from Italy.

To the left of the entrance corridor sits the front dining area featuring a stunning 12 meter high space with expansive views onto the city and the Persian Gulf beyond. We have enrobed the space in a custom designed metal mesh curtain illuminated by a diffused lighting system that creates a soft shimmering glow.The intense sunlight and temperaturesduring the day-time drove the creation of an elaborate system of laser cut curtains that help to maintain a cool and welcoming temperature.

Three large hand-hammered custom made copper wood burning ovens produced in Australia occupy center stage to the right of the entrance corridor. These beautiful ovens are operated daily with a specially chosen Hungarianfragrant wood that creates a unique smell and flavor to produce the freshest pizza's and breads and we have designed 3 semi-circular banquette seating backed by Sicilian lava-stone walls that offer a prime view of the chefs at work.

The semi-circular seating and the custom designed chandeliers all take their inspiration from the traditional Sicilian woven baskets and this idea extends to the two inter-linkable private dining rooms where the walls are fi nished in rough woven rope which contrasts with the doors and sunscreens which feature an intricate pattern created in carved corian that take their inspiration from the local mashrabiya patterns but are in fact traditional lace patterns from Sicily.

While the restaurant is centered on the concept of fire the bathrooms act as refreshing counter-point featuring a hand painted blue and white Italian tiles and video installation of a waterfall designed by Shanghai based video designers Flatmind.

The large outdoor terrace; shared with the neighboring Asian restaurant Sintoho also designed by Kokaistudios; completes the oasis concept with its large custom designed glass sculpture that acts as the central water feature.

By working with world renowned craftsmenfrom Italy to Australia and points in between;employing subtle design instruments; and a focus on appealing to all the six senses we have a created a project that is simultaneously rooted in Middle Eastern culture while being a true embodiment of Mediterranean and Sicilian food culture.

The design of this project is a new step in Kokaistudios method of combining a strong architectural approach to the design of interiors with an original use of materials and light to create unexpected subtle emphatic feeling between the space and the people; handcrafted materials shaped and controlled up to the finest detail interact and interplay with the both the day and night light and reveal an incredibly expressive power.
