Shennong's Herbal Classic

Shennong's Herbal Classic,also called Bencaojing or Benjing,is one of China’s four classic medicine works.Being the earliest work on Chinese medicine,it was said to be written by Shennong,passed down orally through the generations,and finally compiled into a book in the Eastern Han Dynasty.The book contains medical practices and achievements summarized by a great many medical scientists in the Qin and Han Dynasties.

《神農(nóng)本草經(jīng)》

《神農(nóng)本草經(jīng)》，又稱《本草經(jīng)》或《本經(jīng)》，中醫(yī)四大經(jīng)典著作之一。作為現(xiàn)存最早的中藥學(xué)著作，約起源于神農(nóng)氏，代代口耳相傳，于東漢時(shí)期集結(jié)整理成書，是秦漢時(shí)期眾多醫(yī)學(xué)家搜集、總結(jié)、整理當(dāng)時(shí)醫(yī)藥學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)成果而形成的專著，是對中國中醫(yī)藥的第一次系統(tǒng)總結(jié)。書中規(guī)定的大部分中藥學(xué)理論和配伍規(guī)則以及提出的“七情和合”原則，在中國幾千年中醫(yī)用藥實(shí)踐中發(fā)揮了巨大作用，是中醫(yī)藥物學(xué)理論發(fā)展的源頭。在李時(shí)珍《本草綱目》出版之前，該書一直被視為最權(quán)威的醫(yī)書。

《神農(nóng)本草經(jīng)》全書分三卷，載藥365種，以三品分類法，分上、中、下三品，文字簡練古樸，成為中藥理論精髓。書中每味藥都按藥名、異名、性味、主治病證、生長環(huán)境等分別闡述，大多數(shù)為臨床常用藥物，樸實(shí)有驗(yàn)。據(jù)當(dāng)?shù)卮遽t(yī)楊申相介紹，書中所著的許多單行藥，至今仍在民間廣為習(xí)用。
