教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)理念：

基于《普通高中英語新課標(biāo)（2017年版）》的總目標(biāo)，普通高中英語課程的具體目標(biāo)是培養(yǎng)和發(fā)展學(xué)生在接受高中英語教育后具備語言能力，文化意識，思維品質(zhì)，學(xué)習(xí)能力等學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)。本課在設(shè)計(jì)時(shí)，重在使學(xué)生理解書面語篇所表達(dá)的意義，識別其恰當(dāng)表意所采用的手段。同時(shí)使學(xué)生獲得文化知識，理解文化內(nèi)涵，比較文化異同。本課在設(shè)計(jì)時(shí)參考了新課標(biāo)對理解性和表達(dá)性技能在選擇性必修階段的以下要求：

1.區(qū)分、分析和概括語篇中的主要觀點(diǎn)和事實(shí)；

2.根據(jù)語篇標(biāo)題預(yù)測語篇的體裁和結(jié)構(gòu)；

3.通過預(yù)測和設(shè)問理解語篇的意義；

4.批判性地審視語篇涉及的文化現(xiàn)象；

5.以口頭或書面形式傳遞信息、論證觀點(diǎn)、表達(dá)情感；

教學(xué)目標(biāo)1：

Get the general idea about influential factors of facial expressions.

活動形式及步驟：

1. Students read the passage silently.

2. Students skim quickly and find key sentences and take notes.

3. Students answer question about the general idea of the whole passage and fill blanks.

活動意圖：

明確閱讀任務(wù)，總結(jié)歸納文章主旨大意。

活動層次：

感知注意；提取概括學(xué)習(xí)效果評價(jià)：學(xué)生能夠通過第一遍閱讀對文章有一個(gè)宏觀的理解； 并且能夠初步把握說明文的結(jié)構(gòu)并學(xué)會定位主旨有關(guān)的關(guān)鍵信息，并最終總結(jié)出全文主旨大意。

教學(xué)目標(biāo)2：

Find out detailed information and examples about facial expressions with reading skills.

活動形式及步驟：

1.Students read the passage again and answer three questions.

Question：

How many nationalities are mentioned in the full text？ what are they？

How many groups of comparisons are given and what are they？

What aspects do they compare？

2. Students find out all aspects of comparisons between those countries and fill blanks.

活動意圖：

從語篇中提取主要信息，抓住語篇中的關(guān)鍵概念和關(guān)鍵細(xì)節(jié)。

活動層次：

記憶檢索；學(xué)習(xí)效果評價(jià)：學(xué)生能夠通過再次閱讀文章，對文章進(jìn)行深入理解，對比得出四個(gè)不同國家的面部表情的文化特征，并提煉細(xì)節(jié)信息進(jìn)行填空。

教學(xué)目標(biāo)3：

State the feature of facial expression in different countries.

活動形式及步驟

Students generalize features of facial expressions of different countries by using words of their own or from the passage.

活動意圖：

在熟悉的語境中，較為熟練地使用已有英語語言知識，進(jìn)行概括性表達(dá)。

活動層次：

描述闡釋； 分析判斷。

學(xué)習(xí)效果評價(jià)：

學(xué)生用自己的或文章中的語言表達(dá)概括不同國家的面部表情特征及文化體現(xiàn)。

教學(xué)目標(biāo)4：

Express opinions about some critical and opening topics.

活動形式及步驟：

1.Students discuss in groups on two topics from the text.

Topic：

“Yet many Americans smile freely at strangers in public places（ although this is less common in big cities）”why would the author say that？

“In Southeast Asian cultures， a smile is frequently used to cover emotional pain or embarrassment.” Do you agree or disagree？ why？ How about Asian culture？

活動意圖：

在熟悉的語境中，較為熟練地使用已有英語語言知識，進(jìn)行概括性表達(dá)。

活動層次：

描述闡釋； 整合運(yùn)用。

學(xué)習(xí)效果評價(jià)：

學(xué)生能學(xué)會通過肢體語言和面部表情能注意到一些社會問題，并進(jìn)行口語表達(dá)練習(xí)。
