教學(xué)過(guò)程:
Step 1: Lead in
Watch a video about an argument between a son and a mother.
設(shè)計(jì)思路:
觀看一段關(guān)于母親與兒子之間由于能否外出所產(chǎn)生的矛盾的視頻。九年級(jí)學(xué)生正直青春期,有較強(qiáng)的叛逆心理,但是又同時(shí)面對(duì)很重的課業(yè)壓力。所以,孩子與父母在外出游玩和在家學(xué)習(xí)上有著較為明顯的矛盾。故以討論日常生活的話題進(jìn)入,可以活躍課堂氣氛。同時(shí),在交流過(guò)程中,也互相鍛煉了學(xué)生的聽(tīng)力水平。
教學(xué)后記:
針對(duì)上述教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)和課堂教學(xué)活動(dòng),筆者有以下三點(diǎn)體會(huì):
(1)本活動(dòng)在設(shè)計(jì)上比較符合學(xué)生的認(rèn)知水平,能激發(fā)學(xué)生完成任務(wù)的興趣和參與活動(dòng)的熱情。
(2)能使閱讀前的“Warming up activities”真正發(fā)揮“熱身”的作用,這就為順利開(kāi)展之后的多個(gè)活動(dòng)打下了基礎(chǔ)。
(3)上課伊始就順利切入主題,言語(yǔ)富有鼓勵(lì)性和啟發(fā)性,能使學(xué)生產(chǎn)生強(qiáng)烈的共鳴。

設(shè)計(jì)思路:
(1)通過(guò)匯報(bào)小組的板書,讓學(xué)生直觀地感受到本文中出現(xiàn)的有價(jià)值短語(yǔ),并將其用自己喜歡的方式展示給大家,以達(dá)到理解和記憶的目的。在展示的過(guò)程中,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自己學(xué)習(xí)的能力。
(2)讓學(xué)生相互問(wèn)答,相互質(zhì)疑,檢測(cè)對(duì)本文有價(jià)值短語(yǔ)的理解和運(yùn)用,在交流中培養(yǎng)他們的合作精神和解決問(wèn)題的能力。
2. Sts and teacher read the passage by following the tape together.
--Help sts solve the problems of pronunciation.
設(shè)計(jì)思路:
(1)聽(tīng)和讀都是學(xué)生獲取信息的有效途徑。通過(guò)讓學(xué)生邊聽(tīng)邊讀(默讀)可以培養(yǎng)其快速閱讀的能力。
(2)通過(guò)有目的地聽(tīng)和讀,讓學(xué)生在了解課文大意的同時(shí)握課文中一些細(xì)節(jié)性的內(nèi)容。
3. Sts answer the questions of 2c on Page 55.
(Group discussion and solve problems together.)
--Check the understanding of the passage.
Question 1: What is Liu Yus hobby?
Question 2: What does Liu Yu want to be when he grows up?
Question 3: Why do Liu Yus parents not allow Liu Yu to practice his hobby at night?
設(shè)計(jì)思路:
(1)進(jìn)一步有目的地讀,可以讓學(xué)生更好地了解課文細(xì)節(jié)。同時(shí),通過(guò)搶答加分的方式,進(jìn)一步激發(fā)學(xué)生的主動(dòng)參與性。
(2)幫助學(xué)生運(yùn)用連詞“but”將問(wèn)題串聯(lián),進(jìn)一步體會(huì)主人公和父母之間矛盾。
4. Sts role-play the dialogues.(在“演”中“學(xué)”,在“演”中“說(shuō)”)
(sts role-play the dialogues in groups and then show in class)
--Help sts have a deep understanding of the dialogues between Liu Yu and his parents. Try to make clearly about the opinions of them.
5. Show the opinions about Liu Yu and Liu Yus parents.
(sts discuss with their group members and then show the opinions in class)
--Check the answers of the understanding about opinions of Liu Yu and his parents.
設(shè)計(jì)思路:
(1)讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步閱讀課文,了解文章的內(nèi)容,通過(guò)表演對(duì)話培養(yǎng)學(xué)生交流與合作能力。
(2)通過(guò)文章改寫與復(fù)述培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力。
6. Sts have a debate.(在活動(dòng)中運(yùn)用——以讀引說(shuō))
(Sts share their own opinions in their groups and then
have a debate in class)
Positive side: Teenagers should be allowed to make their own decisions.
Negative side: Teenagers should accept their parents suggestions.
--Help sts to speak out their own opinions by using target languages.
設(shè)計(jì)思路:
學(xué)以致用,通過(guò)辯論的方式,學(xué)生自己的話題會(huì)讓他們產(chǎn)生更大的興趣。同時(shí),通過(guò)這項(xiàng)活動(dòng)可以充分訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的綜合技能。
