三、教學目標

1.知識目標

（1） 幫助學生理解并掌握以下詞匯：如career，housewife，household，daily，return，hesitation，typical，chore，volunteer，ham等；（2） 能夠看懂教材中的兩個關(guān)于家庭成員的故事。

2.能力目標

（1） 學生能根據(jù)不同的閱讀需求，正確地掌握一些閱讀的方法，如skimming，scanning等；（2） 學生能在理解故事的前提下，根據(jù)所給提示詞語，復述家庭成員的故事；（3）學生能從連詞成句漸漸過渡到連句成段，簡單地描述自己或家庭成員的經(jīng)歷；3.情感目標 在描述家庭成員的過程中，學生能慢慢體會到對父母的愛、對家庭的愛，學會珍惜自己所擁有的一切。

Step 4.Listening（book closed）4分鐘

Read the passage as quickly as they can.A question will be given to Ss before reading！

設計意圖，這一教學活動要求學生抓住重點，培養(yǎng)他們快速捕捉信息的能力。同時訓練她們的聽力。

Step 5.Fast reading4分鐘

Listen to the tape and tick the things Bob’s mother and Ben’s father did.

設計意圖，找出課文中的關(guān)鍵活動，初步理解課文。

Step 6 Intensive reading 6分鐘

1.read the 6 sentences before the reading；2.Read the letters carefully again and tick the correct sentences.

設計意圖：在課堂教學中，要時刻培養(yǎng)學生大聲朗讀的習慣，以朗讀進一步促進對文章的理解，并為下一活動——復述故事做好鋪墊。

Step 7 Preparation for details of the text 10分鐘（略）

設計意圖，這樣設計可以讓學生非常清楚地在故事中找到生詞和重點詞組。而學生在做復述的時候，黑板上的這些單詞和詞組也能給學生以提示和幫助。）

Post-reading讀后（12分鐘）

Step 7.Consolidation 5分鐘

Consolidate the words and phrases and Complete the summary of Ben’s story according to the given phrases

設計意圖：在完成此活動時，可讓學生嘗試著不看閱讀材料，直接填寫。這樣做一方面可以檢測他們在前半節(jié)課中的掌握程度，另一方面讓他們養(yǎng)成勤記憶的習慣。能力較強的學生可以參考方框中給出的詞語來復述。而能力較弱的學生則可以看著完整的語句進行復述，這樣就會有更多的同學參與到活動中來。）

Step 8.Discussion6分鐘

Show them some pictures and ask them：

Question：What is the most important in our life？ What should we do to make our life better and happier？

設計意圖：學生能慢慢體會到對父母的愛、對家庭的愛，學會珍惜自己所擁有的一切。對學生進行正確的情感教育。

Step 9.Homework1分鐘

Find a funny childhood story and write it down in your notebook .Then share your stories .

設計意圖：能夠看懂關(guān)于家庭成員的小故事；能夠描述一些已經(jīng)發(fā)生過的有趣的經(jīng)歷。并學生與人分享。

Part 5.The teaching reflection教學反思

In this period，I put stress on developing the students ability of English communication，especially the abilities of thinking and expressing themselves in English.Get them interested in English study and take an active part in learning activities.

Meanwhile，students can get some moral education and understand what is the important in their life.

As a teacher，we should change the old teaching style，and make the students real masters in class while the teacher acts as a director.Let every one of the students perform their potential to the fullest and enjoy the language study.

1.在這節(jié)節(jié)閱讀課中，我把重點放在培養(yǎng)學生的英語表達能力和用英語思考的能平共處力，讓他對英語學習感興趣，從而積極參與課堂活動；2.讓學生通過本節(jié)課的學習，得到思想情感上的教育，把握人生的意義和正確的價值追求；3.作為一名教師，我覺得應該創(chuàng)新教學方法，讓學生成為英語課堂的主導者，讓每個學生發(fā)揮自己的潛能，充分享受語言學習的樂趣。
