一、題材內(nèi)容與學(xué)習(xí)目的

本文主要介紹了我國著名的三峽大壩工程。通過對大型建筑工程的介紹，使學(xué)生能夠了解它給社會環(huán)境、經(jīng)濟所帶來的日新月異的變化。

二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

學(xué)生能識別新學(xué)詞匯、短語并推斷出意思，能正確理解介紹長城、香港機場及三峽大壩工程的短文，能正確理解限制性定語從句和非限制性定語從句的不同功能，能快速把握每一段的主旨大意，并運用本模塊所學(xué)詞匯和短語，完成相關(guān)的書面練習(xí)。

三、學(xué)習(xí)策略

學(xué)生能夠從自然（natural）和人造（man-made）角度歸納一些常見的名詞，學(xué)會從形式和功能兩個方面識別限制性和非限制性定語從句，能夠以著名建筑工程為話題與外國友人進行口頭交際。

四、文化情感滲透

學(xué)生能夠增進對著名工程和當(dāng)今世界的發(fā)展和變化的了解，能夠開闊眼界，增強民族自豪感、世界意識和時代責(zé)任感。

播放毛澤東的詩詞《水調(diào)歌頭·游泳》，向?qū)W生指出“更立西江石壁，截斷巫山云雨，高峽出平湖”是我們偉大領(lǐng)袖毛澤東的夢想，他的夢想已經(jīng)成為現(xiàn)實，由此引出閱讀的文章The Three Gorges Dam。

該題的目的是讓學(xué)生在寫作中運用所學(xué)知識，滲透情感教育的理念，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的愛國、愛家鄉(xiāng)的社會責(zé)任感，充分展現(xiàn)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)造能力和表達能力。
