從呱呱墜地的一刻起，我們就得到了一份無比珍貴的禮物，那就是來自父母的無私的愛。人們常說“父愛如山，母愛如水”，但其實(shí)如高山般威嚴(yán)、深沉的父愛也有似水般細(xì)膩、柔情的一面。在孩童時(shí)期，在無數(shù)個(gè)哭鬧不止的晚上，父親會(huì)俯下身來看著我們，睫毛像蝴蝶翅膀一樣輕拍在我們肥嘟嘟的小臉上，那疼愛的神情和溫柔的“蝴蝶之吻”讓我們對(duì)周圍的一切不再恐懼，安然進(jìn)入夢(mèng)鄉(xiāng)。

發(fā)行于1997年的歌曲“Butterfly Kisses”是一首父親寫給女兒的歌。美國(guó)鄉(xiāng)村歌手Bob Carlisle在女兒Brooke 16歲生日前夕創(chuàng)作了這首感人至深的歌曲。歌曲從一個(gè)父親的角度回憶了女兒成長(zhǎng)的點(diǎn)滴：第一次騎馬，第一次做蛋糕，每天清晨父親和女兒的擁抱，每天睡前父女之間專屬的“蝴蝶之吻”。在父親眼里，女兒仿佛是在一眨眼間長(zhǎng)大的。到了“一半女孩、一半女人”的年齡，女兒開始熱衷于化妝打扮，也有了自己的空間，和父親也不再像從前那般親密。時(shí)間如風(fēng)般在指尖溜走，當(dāng)年有著一頭卷發(fā)、綁著發(fā)帶的小女孩終究要長(zhǎng)大成人，結(jié)婚生子。不遠(yuǎn)的將來，在女兒的婚禮上，父親將握著女兒的手把她帶到一個(gè)值得托付終身的男人面前，女兒也許還會(huì)像小時(shí)候一樣，在爸爸的臉上留下一個(gè)“蝴蝶之吻”。

這首細(xì)膩動(dòng)人的“Butterfly Kisses”一經(jīng)推出便成為熱門歌曲，位居美國(guó)《公告牌》（Billboard）排行榜榜首，并在1998年獲得了格萊美最佳鄉(xiāng)村歌曲獎(jiǎng)。這首歌還被Raybon Brothers等眾多歌手翻唱過。直到現(xiàn)在，這首父親寫給女兒的歌仍然是許多美國(guó)人舉行婚禮時(shí)必不可少的經(jīng)典曲目。
