Prague, nestled amidst rolling hills, is embraced by the Vltava River, which flows from south to north and carves an elegant S-shape through the city center. On the western heights stands the Presidential Palace, a sentinel of the city, while to the south rises Pet?ín Hill. Walking through the ancient alleys paved with small square stones, one might experience a trance-like sensation of encountering a 16th-century carriage. The interlaced network of tram lines and tracks, the ancient buildings that undergone many vicissitudes, and the leisurely pedestrians together create a scene that makes one feel as if they have traversed through time and returned to the past.
Descending from the Presidential Palace and proceeding along the street, the entire old town unfolds before your eyes, encircled by vibrant cornflowers and lush vineyards. On the other side of the square is the Charles Bridge over the Vltava River. The river is broad, its waters crystal clear, with cruise ships gently swaying upon its surface. A gentle breeze whispers through the air, as hot air balloons dance amidst the blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Gazing upon this scenery, one wonders if they’re in the realm of mortals or the heavens above.
