MIIT:To Promote the Construction of Major Domestic Mineral Projects

In early April, Vice Minister of MIIT, Xin Guobin expressed a decision on 2023 Chinaev 100 that Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will work together with related Departments to promote high quality development of NEV industry. Firstly, to support technical innovations, give play to the role of Leading Enterprise National Manufacturing Innovation Center, and support the development of electrification technologies such as High- safety all-climate lithium-ion battery, all-solid-state battery and high-power fuel cell; secondly, to actively encourage consumption, carry out Pilot Zone for comprehensive electrification of public sector vehicles, and develop and identify continuing preferential policies such as car purchase tax reduction of NEVs as soon as possible; thirdly, to enhance support to promote the construction of domestic major mineral projects, facilitate International cooperation in mineral resource development, guide upstream and downstream enterprises in establishing long-term cooperation, secure stable resource supply, advance the construction of charging and swapping infrastructure, update NEV intelligent connected vehicle standard system, release guidelines for the construction of automotive chip standard system, and accelerate the formulation of integrated development standards for NEV and related fields.
