跨年的鐘聲縈繞耳畔，新年的喜悅涌上心頭。2019年，重慶進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)大對(duì)外開放合作，拓展國(guó)際合作伙伴關(guān)系網(wǎng)絡(luò)，提升國(guó)際知名度和美譽(yù)度。特別是與各國(guó)駐重慶、成都總領(lǐng)館攜手努力，取得豐碩的交流合作成果，不斷深化發(fā)展友好關(guān)系。

去年，日本迎來了令和新時(shí)代，中國(guó)也迎來了新中國(guó)成立70周年。

更為嶄新的2020年，日本將舉辦東京奧運(yùn)會(huì)和殘奧會(huì)，中國(guó)國(guó)家主席習(xí)近平預(yù)計(jì)在春季訪問日本。

在這樣的新年里，祝愿日本和中國(guó)，日本與重慶的關(guān)系不斷發(fā)展，希望重慶的各位能迎來美好的一年。

On behalf of the United States Consulate General in Chengdu， Id like to wish the people of Chongqing a happy， healthy and prosperous new year.

Since the time of World War II when General Joseph Stilwell commanded all the United States Forces in China and our Embassy was located here in Chongqing， the United States and Chongqing have enjoyed many close ties. ?This year， we appreciated the welcome and support of the people and government in Chongqing when we held our Independence Day event here and collaborated on a Stilwell Forum to commemorate 40 years of U.S.-China diplomatic relations. ?Over 500 U.S. businesses call Chongqing home， and we are pleased to see American professors， students and Peace Corps volunteers teaching and learning in schools and universities here.

We look forward to continuing and deepening these cultural， educational， and business activities in 2020 and beyond！
