高中英語必修三 unit1 Festivals around the world教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)

一、教材分析

這單元介紹的是世界各地的不同種類的節(jié)日，旨在讓學(xué)生知道各地舉辦節(jié)日的原因以及其慶祝方式，鼓勵學(xué)生介紹自己國家的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日。

二、學(xué)情分析

本節(jié)課的授課對象是高一的學(xué)生，他們能夠讀懂文章的大概意思。但是，要恰當(dāng)運(yùn)用英語詞匯表達(dá)自己的看法，以及通過英語文章的閱讀獲取相關(guān)信息對于高一學(xué)生有一定困難。

三、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

1.通過本課時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生能夠讀懂課文大意，掌握與節(jié)日有關(guān)的重點(diǎn)詞匯。

2.使學(xué)生學(xué)會通過略讀，尋找文章的主題句，通過查讀，捕捉文章的重要細(xì)節(jié)、理解作者的寫作意圖，從而提高閱讀理解能力。

3.使學(xué)生知道節(jié)日的起源以及慶祝方式，進(jìn)而使他們在學(xué)習(xí)語言的同時(shí)了解更多的文化，激發(fā)學(xué)生們對于節(jié)日、文化，尤其是中國的傳統(tǒng)文化的興趣，提升他們的文化意識。

四、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)

1.掌握有關(guān)節(jié)日的詞匯以及這些節(jié)日的起源和主要的慶祝方式。

2.使學(xué)生養(yǎng)成科學(xué)的閱讀習(xí)慣，提高閱讀理解能力和語言水平。

五、教學(xué)方法

1.以任務(wù)型教學(xué)為主，強(qiáng)調(diào)教學(xué)方法的靈活性和多樣性。

2.采取小組合作的方法，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的合作精神。

六、教學(xué)過程

Step1.Leading-in and Warming-up

1.First show the students some pictures of festivals to introduce the topic of this unit.

2.Ask students to discuss with their partners and tell the differences among the festivals.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過談?wù)摴?jié)日，從而引入本單元的話題：Festivals around the world。

Step2.Pre-reading

Get the students to discuss the questions with their partners in this part.Then ask them to report their work.This part will help the students understand the text.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過“讀前”部分設(shè)計(jì)的討論題，激發(fā)學(xué)生的閱讀興趣，訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的閱讀技巧。

Step3.Reading

1.Guessing

Why was the whole country filled with joy and excitement during the winter vacation？

What do people do during the Spring Festival/the Lantern Festival？

2.Skimming and Scanning

1）Read fast to prove your guess.

2）Finish the table

3）Give students 2 minutes to summarize the main idea of the story.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：培養(yǎng)學(xué)生快速捕捉文章大意、把握文章主要信息的能力。

3.Detail reading

Read the text carefully and decide the following sentences are true or not.

（1）The ancient people neednt worry about their food（F）

（2）Halloween used to be a festival intended to honor the dead.（T）

（3）Easter celebrates the birth of Jesus.（F）

（4）The Mid-autumn Festival is held to celebrate the end of autumn.（F）

（5）There is pink snow in spring in Japan.（F）

Step 4.Explain some language points

（1）keep her word：keep her promise

（2）hold ones breath：wait without much hope

（3）drown ones sadness/sorrow in coffee：drink coffee in order to forget the sadness/sorrow

（4）remind sb of sth：make ab think of sth

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過本環(huán)節(jié)進(jìn)一步拓展話題內(nèi)容，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力。

Step 5 Homework

1.Retell the text，trying to use the modal verbs.

2.Write an introduction of the festival that you are fond of.

1.本堂課在教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)上，從學(xué)生的興趣和生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)出發(fā)，采取合作與交流的學(xué)習(xí)方式，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力，注重學(xué)生全面發(fā)展和個(gè)體差異的統(tǒng)一，閱讀任務(wù)設(shè)計(jì)由淺入深，符合學(xué)生的認(rèn)知特點(diǎn)。基本達(dá)到了教學(xué)目標(biāo)。

2.本課在思維拓展，話題討論的處理上，時(shí)間略顯倉促，學(xué)生未能有充分的時(shí)間思考、準(zhǔn)備。
