曼尼或許沒什么真實的朋友，不過他可不缺想象出來的朋友。我都數(shù)不清了，我記得的名字有喬伊、彼提、丹尼、查爾斯、崔柏、另一個查爾斯、內(nèi)崔柏、小吉姆和約翰尼·切達。 Manny may not have a real friend， but he has a bunch of imaginary ones. Ive kind of lost count of them all， but the names I can remember are Joey， Petey， Danny， Charles Tribble， The Other Charles Tribble， Tiny Jim， and Johnny Cheddar.

我不知道曼尼是怎么想出這些虛構(gòu)人物來的，不過我可沒開玩笑，對他而言，這些朋友是真實存在的。有一次曼尼帶他的虛構(gòu)朋友們?nèi)ゲ少?，老媽被指將查爾斯·崔柏落在冷凍食品貨架附近了，為此鬧得不可開交。I dont know how Manny came up with all those fake friends， but believe me， to him theyre real. One time Manny took all his imaginary friends to the grocery store and had a total meltdown when Mom supposedly left Charles Tribble behind in the frozen foods aisle.

有時候我也在想，曼尼編出這么多虛構(gòu)朋友是不是為了飯后能多吃點甜點。Sometimes I wonder if Manny made up his imaginary friends so he could get stuff like extra dessert after dinner.

老媽說如果我們告訴曼尼他那堆所謂的朋友是虛構(gòu)的，他會“精神受創(chuàng)”。所以我們只好睜一只眼閉一只眼。Mom says if we tell Manny his so-called friends arent real， he could be “traumatized.” So we just have to go along with it.

我只求他趕緊過了這個階段，因為情況越來越離譜了。有時候我得等曼尼所有的虛構(gòu)朋友都上完廁所我才能進洗手間。I just hope he grows out of this soon， because its getting kind of ridiculous. Sometimes I have to wait until all of Mannys imaginary friends are done using the bathroom before I can get in.
