由DMG展覽公司主辦的知名品牌展會The Big 5將于9月18-21日在埃及國際展覽中心舉辦子展，規(guī)模將僅次于The Big 5迪拜展。今年的首屆埃及子展面積將為24000平米，全方位展示全球領先的建材產品，分享行業(yè)知識并促進貿易成交。

在將近40多年的時間里，The Big 5展會是迪拜會展市場的標志性展會之一。而在過去數年間，The Big 5已經在多個國家舉辦過，包括沙特、摩洛哥、肯尼亞等等，成為中東地區(qū)最具影響力的建筑建材專業(yè)展會。

The Big 5 goes to Egypt

Organiser dmg events is expanding its brand The Big 5 and launching it in Egypt. Taking place at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre （EIEC） September 18 to 21， 2018， The Big 5 Construct Egypt will be the second largest construction show after The Big 5 Dubai. The shows first edition will be held on 24，000 sqm. The event will bring in the latest technologies from leading global brands and will support knowledge sharing while facilitating business opportunities between local and international innovators in the sector.

The Big 5 has been a staple of Dubais exhibition calendar for almost 40 years. Over the last few years， the exhibition has been held in a number of countries beyond the UAE， including Saudi Arabia， Morocco， and Kenya， becoming the largest and most influential go-to exhibition for the construction sector in the Middle East.

Protecting intellectual rights

Once again IFEMA will be renewing its "Against Copy" service at the CONSTRUTEC， ARCHISTONE， VETECO， BIMEXPO， MATELEC， and MATELEC LIGHTING fairs held within the framework of ePower&Building 2018. The "Against Copy" service， which helps protect exhibitors and professional visitors industrial， intellectual and brand property rights， includes services relating to patents and information on the new data protection law. A renowned global intellectual property specialist will once again be in charge of this important value-added service and will be providing a legal service to protect companies from and take action against companies that copy. Designated space will be also available for participants who wish to display samples of boxes or copied products to bring them to the attention of the professional sector.

IAEE聯手沙迦工商會舉辦CEM課程

國際展覽與項目協會（IAEE）與沙迦工商會簽署了諒解備忘錄，雙方將在2018年共同舉辦一系列注冊會展經理（CEM）課程。根據這份諒解備忘錄，IAEE將與沙迦博覽中心共同舉辦至少9個CEM課程，地點分別在如下七個阿拉伯國家：阿聯酋、巴林、阿曼、科威特、黎巴嫩、巴勒斯坦、約旦。

沙迦博覽中心首席執(zhí)行官Saif Mohammed Al Midfa表示，共同組織這些課程是為了支持本地專業(yè)會展人才的發(fā)展，并促進當地會展業(yè)發(fā)展水平與國際接軌。

CEM courses come to seven Arab countries

The International Association of Exhibitions and Events （IAEE） and the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry （SCCI） signed a Memorandum of Understanding（MOU） to jointly organise a number of Certified in Exhibition Management （CEM） Learning Program courses in 2018. The MOU states that a minimum of nine IAEE CEM Learning Program courses will be organised in cooperation with Expo Centre Sharjah， to be facilitated in various locations across seven Arab countries： United Arab Emirates， Bahrain， Oman， Kuwait， Lebanon， Palestine and Jordan.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa， CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah， stated that the organisation of the training courses by both the SCCI and IAEE， with support from Expo Centre Sharjah， is part of an effort to develop the best specialised workforce in the exhibitions sector at regional level， and to raise the standards of the exhibitions industry in accordance with international best practices.
