Applying emotion factors in English teaching

I.Introduction

The school edition took the center role during the entire education, teachers on undisputable has also become this link key aspect.In this paper,I first introduce the emotion connotation, and then tell about the role of emotional education in English teaching.

II.The emotional connotation.

2.1 The emotional concept, characteristic and its function.

The good emotion function can directly enhance students’ study efficiency, directly promotes the students’ ability to the development.

2.2 The role of emotional education in English teaching

Thought education, students should know the value of life.(1) learn how to recognize and understand the world;（2）learn how to work; (3)learn to live with the spirit of corporation and participation; (4) learn how to survive, that is to fully develop their personalities.

III.Students’ problems in English learning

3.1Students’ attitude in English study

The attitude of learning English is the tendency of learners’ motions, feeling, and behavior in language learning.It as the emotion and factors, which influenced the learning progress effectiveness and the also is the important factors which influence the degree of successful.

3.2 Students’ anxiety in English study

During the class, some students rarely join the classroom activities and answering questions.In a certain range of low-anxiety may lead to positive impact, so that students may be more focused on learning and having greater motivation; while outside the range, especially over the anxiety will bring negative influence.

IV.Applying Emotional Factors in English Teaching

4.1.Students’ interest is very important

Students' interest is not born with learning;its formation and development under teachers’training and protecting.

4.2 How to make students love learning English

Use the material object.It means using every illustration of cartoon of a text, relevant concrete actual object carries on the theme of text.

4.3 Changing the role of teachers'

How a teacher is successful facilitator in language classroom?

·Give additional information useful or necessary for activity

· Provide a stimulus or prompt for learner to do something with the language, to shift focus of attention.

·Provide motivation,provide technical support

4.4.Ingenious utilization body language

4.4.1 Smiling is very important.

Teachers with a smile calmly and confidently goes to the platform, it will shorten the psychology distance between teacher and students',strengthening their friendship and cooperation.

4.4.2.Expressing in teachers’ eyes.

Just because the look can be expressive,can express the exquisite emotion, therefore the teacher may control the classroom through the look,stimulates student's emotion, Achieved "the silent victory has the sound" education effect.

4.4.3.Wearing a cheerful look.

The teachers can appropriately use the utilization good facial expression in the classroom,it can effectively adjust the classroom atmosphere,enhances the teacher effect..

4.5.More praise and less criticism

4.5.1.Raise the teacher and students’harmonious emotion.

Student’s emotion directly affects theirs study interest, the study manner and the study effect, only under positive, firmly emotion, can stimulate student’s study interest, enhances the study effect.

4.5.2.The teachers should fill with compactions.

As teachers, if we want to become friends with students squat down and make the games with students.Only establish the equal teacher and students relationship, the teacher has been able to stand in students' standpoint.

4.5.3 Teachers’ own emotion factors.

The teachers not only depend on the knowledge intrinsic strength to influence students, therefore,teacher not only pays attention to complete the work situation, the academic achievement progress and backs up, but also must frequently care about student's thought condition, the family situation,and so on.

4.5.3.2 Organize variety activities

The activity not only trains students’ ability to talk also is the big stage to exercise students’skills.Through listening, reading, saying and writing, which cause students’ ability to obtain English elementary knowledge and develop students’independently, study ability.

4.6.To be merciful.

It is limited to classroom lecture and students’ communicate, individual heart talk is far from enough.At this time, the messages can be taken to class and students to communicate, let students read your love and care from your pen.

V.conclusion

In a word, during the English teaching,we must always pay attention to students’ inner world, and never stop improving our own knowledge.In the teaching, teachers should have a passion for each student.At the same time, appraises actions which can not be underestimated.
