一、教材分析

本課是閱讀課，介紹幾位不同教學(xué)風(fēng)格和個(gè)性特征的教師，旨在通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)，使學(xué)生了解三位教師的性格特征、授課方式及學(xué)生的評(píng)價(jià)。同時(shí)，要求學(xué)生通過(guò)對(duì)本課的學(xué)習(xí)，能運(yùn)用所學(xué)的詞匯句型表達(dá)自己的喜好，制定好教師的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)使師生之間相互理解。

二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

1 Target language

a Important words and phrases

amusing，energetic，intelligent，nervous，organized，patient...

b Important sentence pattern

There are few students who keep coming to class late.

I believe Ill do well in physics with Mrs chen teaching

2 Ability goals

Enable the students to learn expressions used to describe a teacher and his/her character.

三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和教學(xué)難點(diǎn)

Teach and enable the students to describe the teachers they like and tell the reason.

四、教學(xué)過(guò)程和方式

Step 1 revision

Ask some students to recite the words in the module so that they can understand the passage well.

Step2 lead-in

Show some pictures of their teachers..

T： do you know the man/ woman？ Show one of the pictures

S： she is our head teacher.

T： right！ whats your impression of her？ Can you describe her in one or two sentences？

S1： she is thin and warm-hearted teacher.

S2： her lessons are well organised.

S3： she is energetic.

S4： she smiles a lot. She always encourages us.

T： well done.lets go on with other teachers.

Show some pictures of other teachers and ask some of you to describe a teacher while the other students guess who he/she is.

T： Brilliant！ In your opinion，whats a good teacher like？ Ask the students to tick the statements that you agree with in activity 3 p 11. then students read and tick the statement.

Step3 Fast reading

T： ok，Im going to introduce another teachers. First，turn to page12 and look at their pictures. Lets answer the following questions before reading .

1 Whatre your impressions of each teacher？

2 what subject do you think each teacher teach？

T： now we need to read the text to see whether what you said is true or false. Lets read the text quickly and find the true answers.

After the students read the text，ask some to tell their answers.

Step4 Careful reading

In this part，the students will read the passage again and work together with their deskmates to learn the way the author describes a teacher. Then show a table on the blackboard. Give them a few minutes to fill in the table aboutthe whole text.

Step5 Do some reading exercises further

T： Now lets deal with some exercises in activity 4.

After the students finish it. Check their answers in class

Step6 Retelling

Give the students several minutes to prepare for retelling. After retalling the passage，they will understand deeply how the author describe a teacher and master the way of describing.

Step7 Homework

Ask the students to use some of the words we have learned in this module.To introduce one of their teachers.

五、教學(xué)反思

本教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)遵循建構(gòu)主義教育理論。學(xué)生通過(guò)快讀，仔細(xì)閱讀，對(duì)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)經(jīng)歷了從任知，到理解的輸入，再經(jīng)過(guò)內(nèi)部消化，達(dá)到對(duì)文章的透徹理解，從而做到靈活運(yùn)用。在教學(xué)的實(shí)施過(guò)程中，讓學(xué)生通過(guò)掌握文章的大意，回答細(xì)節(jié)問(wèn)題，培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生略讀，細(xì)讀的技能，從而提高他們的閱讀技能。學(xué)生在老師的引導(dǎo)下，通過(guò)與搭當(dāng)?shù)暮献魈骄?，進(jìn)行了有意義的拓展實(shí)踐，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取信息的，猜測(cè)詞義的能力，提高了學(xué)生熟練運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力。
