中國農(nóng)業(yè)銀行信息中心位于上海東北部的浦東新區(qū)，來此培訓(xùn)的都是各地銀行派來的經(jīng)理干部，所以它是安全系數(shù)要求很高的重要地方。相對于銀行對其官方機構(gòu)形象的強調(diào)，設(shè)計更關(guān)注辦公空間的質(zhì)量。整個辦公區(qū)域包括一個培訓(xùn)中心，一個容納200間客房的賓館以及一些休閑娛樂場所。項目總建筑密度較低，8公頃的用地面積擁有115000m2的建筑面積。

項目整體外形規(guī)范整齊，是四邊為圍籬式長方形建筑。圍合的空間一方面保護了信息中心的私密性，另一方面與當(dāng)時仍是工地的周邊城市環(huán)境分離。建筑四邊共同朝向內(nèi)部庭院空間，布局類似中國古代宮殿。內(nèi)部園林沿著一個水道蜿蜒的水池凹地向四旁拓展開。隨意自然的園林，水生植物，磚砌的地面，內(nèi)院的景致就這樣一點點形成了。兩條穿越園林的主軸走道，一直修建到了水上的亭閣，擴大了散步空間。這種植物園林式布置的運用，淡化了建筑的巍峨，給人輕松愜意的感覺。

立面結(jié)合兩種相反的方式：外部水平遮陽板，內(nèi)部移動護窗板，達到安靜，安全和舒適的效果。這些木屏障圍繞著園林，同樣呼應(yīng)了一種中國古典宮殿的文化氛圍。

Located in the Pudong sector, a zone undergoing massive development works to the northeast of Shanghai,the Agricultural Bank of China's data processing center is a strategic and secure location that is also used by executives.

Emphasis is placed on the quality of the workplace rather than the need to provide an institutional image. A training center, a 200- bedroom hotel, and recreational areas reinforce the office program. Overall, this is a low-density scheme, with planted areas covering 115 000 aquare meters of the 8-hectare site.

The location takes the form of a large rectangular enclosure that faces inward onto its interal space, much like a Chinese palace. The enclosed area contains a protected, finished space in this town undergoing complete reconstruction. Interior garden is a hollowed-out space laid out around a lake with curved contours. It is crossed by two footbridges doubling up the walkways around the internal perimeter and has a pavillon giving directly onto the water. Randomly placed groves of trees, aquatic plants, and brick-laid floor surfaces all contribute to the composition of the interior landscape.

The elevations present two contrasting and serne expressions presenting specific qualites and comfort: a horizontal grid of sunbreakers on the exterior and large mobile shutters in the interior. These screens frame the garden in a manner worthy of a Chinese palace.
