● 吳康明會見柬埔寨奉辛比克黨干部考察團

4月25日，市政府外事僑務辦主任吳康明在市外事大樓會見了柬埔寨奉辛比克黨干部考察團一行。

吳康明對考察團到訪表示歡迎，并向客人介紹了重慶的經濟社會發(fā)展、對外開放和基層黨建工作情況。考察團團長、柬埔寨奉辛比克黨拉那烈主席辦公廳副主任馬尊對會見和重慶的熱情接待表示感謝。

該干部考察團一行20人，由柬埔寨奉辛比克黨官員組成，應中聯(lián)部邀請于4月24日—26日來渝訪問。

● 唐文出席2017年荷蘭國王日招待會暨米菲兔漫畫展開幕式

4月23日，市政府外事僑務辦副主任唐文出席了荷蘭駐重慶總領事館在重慶方所書店舉辦的“荷蘭國王日招待會暨米菲兔漫畫展開幕式”。

唐文表示，今年的“荷蘭國王日”恰逢世界閱讀日，相信米菲兔將在提高重慶市民閱讀興趣的同時搭建起中荷友誼的橋梁。市政府外事僑務辦將與荷蘭駐重慶總領事館一道，繼續(xù)推動重慶與荷蘭開展多層次、寬領域、全方位的交流與合作。

荷蘭駐渝總領事孔思哲表示，中荷建交45周年來，兩國邦交友誼日益深厚。荷蘭與中國西南地區(qū)特別是重慶的交往也愈加緊密，在經貿交往、貨運物流、食品花卉、音樂藝術、人員往來等領域的合作都有了長足的進步。

● 張婭茜率隊開展渝港澳聯(lián)合調研活動

4月18日—20日，市港澳辦副主任張婭茜率隊赴酉陽、南川開展經貿考察調研活動。此次調研邀請了香港特區(qū)政府駐重慶聯(lián)絡處、香港貿易發(fā)展局重慶代表處、澳門之家和部分港資企業(yè)共同參與，旨在幫助港澳各駐渝機構和相關企業(yè)深入了解酉陽、南川的發(fā)展和招商引資需求，積極推動區(qū)縣的招商引資和經濟建設。

香港特區(qū)政府駐重慶聯(lián)絡處表示，可以通過聯(lián)絡處的定期刊物介紹推介酉陽；香港貿發(fā)局對如何整合資源，讓酉陽縣電子商務產業(yè)走出去提出了新的合作模式，并表示可以通過香港的各類國際展會，把酉陽特色有機食品、手工藝品推向世界。

港澳各駐渝機構和相關企業(yè)認為南川具有獨特的區(qū)位優(yōu)勢和發(fā)展商機，與香港得天獨厚的服務業(yè)、物流業(yè)、金融業(yè)等方面有廣闊的合作空間。同時，可通過參加每年在香港舉辦的國際影視展宣傳旅游資源，提升知名度，推動區(qū)縣影視文化拍攝基地的發(fā)展。

● 2017港澳菁英訪渝團來渝尋找“一帶一路”新機遇

5月17日—20日，由中央人民政府駐香港特別行政區(qū)聯(lián)絡辦公室倡導支持，重慶市人民政府港澳事務辦公室抓總協(xié)調，渝港交流促進會、澳門精英會、重慶市青年聯(lián)合會、渝臺經濟促進會共同組織聯(lián)辦的2017港澳菁英團來渝訪問。90余位港澳菁英青年參與了經濟考察、文化交流和青年經濟論壇等活動。

在渝期間，代表團青年企業(yè)家與我市近100位企業(yè)家舉行了“尋找‘一帶一路’新機遇”菁英論壇，并簽署合作備忘錄。與會代表認為，重慶在“一帶一路”建設中具有區(qū)位優(yōu)勢和先發(fā)優(yōu)勢，雖與港澳遠隔千里，但經貿往來和合作基礎良好。渝港澳優(yōu)勢互補，青年企業(yè)家和創(chuàng)業(yè)者通過論壇形式，在以往良好合作的基礎上，進一步加強在金融、物流、經貿等領域的交流合作。市政府港澳辦副主任張婭茜出席論壇并致辭。

● 市政府外事僑務辦與澳大利亞維多利亞州代表團進行工作座談

5月16日，市政府外事僑務辦和市金融辦相關人員與來訪的澳大利亞維多利亞州議員邁克爾·吉德利一行進行了工作座談。

應外方請求，市政府外事僑務辦介紹了本機構職能職責和重慶與澳大利亞的友好交往情況；市金融辦介紹了我市金融行業(yè)總體發(fā)展、政策創(chuàng)新、對外合作等基本情況。雙方均表示希望未來保持密切聯(lián)系，助推重慶與維多利亞州在金融等各領域的深入交往與合作。

● 部分外國駐渝領事官員考察萬盛經開區(qū)旅游資源和民俗文化

5月21日，應萬盛經開區(qū)邀請，市政府外事僑務辦組織英國、日本、菲律賓、加拿大駐重慶領事官員一行赴萬盛經開區(qū)考察，參加第19屆苗族踩山會閉幕式相關活動。萬盛經開區(qū)管委會副主任李華全與各駐渝領事官員進行交流，介紹了經開區(qū)經濟社會發(fā)展情況。領事官員一行參觀了萬盛石林景區(qū)，深入了解萬盛獨特自然地質遺跡，感受悠久苗族歷史文化。領事官員代表表示，本次活動幫助各國總領事館更好地了解重慶旅游資源和民俗文化，加強了各自國家與重慶區(qū)縣在旅游文化領域的合作。

● 波蘭美食嘉年華活動在渝開幕

5月8日，由波蘭駐成都總領事館舉辦的波蘭美食嘉年華活動在重慶洲際酒店開幕，市政府外事僑務辦副主任唐文出席開幕式并與波蘭駐成都總領事卡夏進行了交流。5月6日—21日，波蘭駐成都總領事館特邀波蘭籍廚師Marcin Poitrowski來渝主廚，在洲際酒店Gingers西餐廳烹飪地道波蘭美食，介紹波蘭飲食文化。

● 日本庭院展·品茶會在鵝嶺公園舉行

5月12日，日本駐重慶總領事館在鵝嶺公園廣島園舉辦日本庭院展·品茶會。本次日本庭院展共展出日本庭院圖片30幅，展示了以金澤兼六園、岡山后樂園、水戶偕樂園三大名園為代表的日本庭院，表現了日本各類庭院幽玄靜謐的獨特園林藝術。活動期間，日本駐渝總領事夫人在現場進行了簡單的茶道演示。重慶市民及在渝日本人約200人參觀了日本庭院展，并品嘗了日本正宗抹茶及和式茶點。日本駐渝總領事星山隆、市政府外事僑務辦副主任唐文等出席活動。

● 意大利工業(yè)設計展登陸重慶

5月12日，意大利駐重慶總領事館在重慶市科技館舉行“偉大的工業(yè)游戲，50+！個造就了意大利企業(yè)歷史的物件”展覽。此次展覽共54組展板，30余件模型，展品涉及食品、紡織、汽摩、家具、制造等多個領域，這些設計影響著意大利的經濟、社會風俗習慣、生活方式，甚至是意大利的歷史。此次展覽是重慶市民近距離接觸意大利企業(yè)發(fā)展歷史和文化的重要契機，同時觀展者也能從這些設計發(fā)明中體會人類偉大的智慧和無限的創(chuàng)造力。

Wu Kangming met with cadre delegation of Cambodian Funcinpec Party

On April 25, Wu Kangming, Director General of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, met with cadre delegation of Cambodian Funcinpec Party in the major building.

Mr. Wu extended welcome to the visitors.He briefed the economic and social development, opening-up and Party construction at the grass-roots level in Chongqing. Mr. Ma Zun, leader of the delegation and Deputy Director General of the Ranaridh Chairman Office of Cambodian Funcinpec Party, expressed great gratitude for enthusiast reception.The cadre delegation had 20 officials of Cambodian Funcinpec Party. From April 24 to 26, the delegation paid a visit to Chongqing at the invitation of International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.

On April 23, Tang Wen, Deputy Director General of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Of fi ce of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, attended“the Reception of 2017 Holland King’s Day and the opening ceremony of Miffy Cartoon Exhibition” held in Fangsuo Bookstore by the Consulate General of the Holland in Chongqing.

Mr. Tang said that as “Holland King’s Day” of this year coincides with “the World Reading Day”, Miffy will be believed to not only raise interest of Chongqing people in reading but also serve as a bridge of friendship between China and Holland. Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Of fi ce of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, in collaboration with the Consulate General of the Holland in Chongqing, will continue to enhance multi-level, wide-field and all-round exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Holland.

Kong Sizhe, the Consular General of Holland in Chongqing, suggested that over the past 45 years of establishing diplomatic relationship between China and Holland, both of them have cultivated an increasing friendship. Besides,Holland has had a closer relationship with Southwest of China, particularly with Chongqing, and made great progresses in the cooperation concerning economic and trade exchanges, freight and logistics, food and fl owers, music and art, and personnel exchanges.

From April 18 to 20, Zhang Yaqian, Deputy Director General of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, led the delegation to conduct economic and trade survey and investigation in Youyang and Nanchuan.Representatives from the Liaison Of fi ce of HKSAR Government in Chongqing, the Representative Of fi ce of Hong Kong CTD, the Home of Macao and some HK-funded enterprises, participated in this investigation with an aim to help relevant enterprises and institutions set by HK and Macao in Chongqing to have a deep understanding of the development in Youyang and Nanchuan and the demand for investment and business attraction,thus contributing to the business and investment attraction and economic construction in the districts and counties of Chongqing.

The Liaison Office of HKSAR Government in Chongqing claimed that we can promote the tourist spot of Youyang by the regular publications from the Liaison Of fi ce; Hong Kong Trade Development Council put forward a new cooperation model

about how to integrate resources and introduce the E-commerce of Youyang to the outside world, and suggested that by means of various international exhibitions in Hongkong, Youyang’s characteristic organic food and handicrafts could be promoted to the rest of the world.

Institutions set by HK and Macao in Chongqing and relevant enterprises think that with unique geographical advantages and opportunities for development,Nanchuan has a broad space for cooperation in the fi elds of service, logistics and fi nance with Hongkong endowed with natural advantages. At the same time,participation in the annual international fi lm and television show will help to promote tourist resource of Nanchuan, raise its popularity and enhance the development of shooting base for fi lm and television in districts and counties of Chongqing.

The elite delegation from Hongkong and Macao had its 2017 visit of Chongqing to seek for new opportunities from “the Belt and Road Initiative”

From May 17 to 20, the elite delegation from Hongkong and Macao had its 2017 visit of Chongqing. As for this visit, it was proposed and supported by the Liaison Of fi ce of the Central People’s government in HKSAR, coordinated by Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and jointly organized by Hongkong - Chongqing Exchange and Promotion Association, Macao Elite Association, Chongqing Youth Federation and Chongqing-Taiwan Economic Promotion Association. More than 90 elite youths from Hongkong and Macao participated in many activities such as economic investigation, cultural exchange and youth economic forum.

During the visit to Chongqing, some 100 entrepreneurs from our city and young entrepreneurs from the elite delegation held a forum themed with “to Seek for New Opportunities from ‘the Belt and Road Initiative’” and signed the cooperation memorandum. Representatives participating in the forum thought that as Chongqing is advantageous in its geographical location and fi rst-mover position, despite of long distance with Hongkong and Macao, Chongqing has a sound foundation for economic and trade exchanges and cooperation. As Chongqing, Hongkong and Macao can complement each other, the young entrepreneurs and business starters, by adopting the form of forum and on the basis of the past sound cooperation, can press ahead with the exchanges and cooperation in the fi elds of fi ance, logistics, economy and trade. On May 16, a symposium was held by the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and Chongqing Financial Affairs Of fi ce to exchange views about relevant working with the delegation led by Michael?Gidley, the State Senator of Victoria, Australia.

At the request of the Australian delegation, person in charge of the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Of fi ce of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government introduced the functions and responsibilities of the Office and the friendly communication between Chongqing and Australia; Chongqing Financial Affairs Of fi ce made a brief introduction of the general situation of Chongqing financial sector, policy innovation and foreign cooperation. Both sides expressed great their hope that they would maintain close ties in the future and boost in-depth exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and Victoria in various fi elds like fi nance.

On May 21, at the invitation of the heads of Economic Development Area of Wansheng, Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Of fi ce of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government organized the consular of fi cers from Britain,Japan, Philippines and Canada to come to the Economic Development Area of Wansheng for investigation, and attended the closing ceremony of the Nineteenth Conference of “Step on the Hill” of the Miao nationality. Li Huaquan, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of Wansheng Economic Development Area, exchanged with foreign consular officers and had an introduction of economic development in Wansheng Economic Development Area. In their visit to the Wansheng Stone Forest Scenic Spot,they can have an in-depth understanding of the unique natural geological relics in Wansheng, and a closer experience of time-honored history and culture of the Miao nationality. Representatives of consular of fi cers said that by conducting this activity, of fi cers from the Gonsulates General of different countries can have a better understanding of Chongqing tourist resources and folk culture, thus strengthening the cooperation in the tourism and culture between their countries and districts and counties in Chongqing.

Poland Gourmet Carnival opened in Chongqing

On May 8, Poland Gourmet Carnival organized by the Consulate General of Poland in Chengdu was inaugurated in the Chongqing International Hotel. Tang Wen,Deputy Director General of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Of fi ce of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government, attended the opening ceremony and conducted exchanges with Cachia, the Consular General of Poland in Chengdu. From May 6 to 21,Marcin Poitrowski, the Poland’s chef specially invited by the Consulate General of Poland in Chengdu, came to Gingers (a western restaurant) of Chongqing International Hotel for cooking Poland’s local cuisine and introducing its cooking culture.

Italian industrial design exhibition landed in Chongqing

On May 12, the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing held a exhibition in Chongqing Science and Technology Museum themed with “50 plus ! Of great industrial games contribute to the objects showing Italian enterprises history”. The exhibition consists of 54 panels and more than 30 pieces of models,and the displayed items covers many fields such as food, textile, automobile and motorcycle, furniture and manufacturing. Those designs have a great impact on the economy, society, customs, lifestyle, and even the history of Italy. This exhibition serves as an important opportunity for Chongqing residents to have a close contact with the history and culture of Italian enterprises’ development while viewers can appreciate the great wisdom and endless creativity of mankind from those displayed designs and inventions.

Japanese Garden Show?Tea Tasting Meeting held in Eling Park

On May 12, the Consulate General of Japan in Chongqing held the Japanese Garden Show?Tea Tasting Meeting in Hiroshima Garden of Eling Park. There were a total of 30 Japanese garden pictures displayed in this show, demonstrating Japanese characteristic gardens represented by three famous gardens of Kanazawa Kenroku-en Garden, Okayama Korakuen Garden, Mito Kairakuen,and showing the unique garden art of all kinds of gardens in Japan featuring secludedness and tranquility. During this time, the Lady of the Consular General of Japan in Chongqing, had a brief presentation of tea ceremony on the spot. A total of 200 Chongqing residents and Japanese citizens in Chongqing visited this exhibition and tasted the orthodox Japanese-style matcha and Japanese traditional refreshments. Takashi Hoshiyana, the Consular General of Japan in Chongqing, and Tang Wen, Deputy Director General of Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government attended these activities.
