2016年10月13日，中國—東盟中心秘書長(zhǎng)楊秀萍在中心秘書處會(huì)見緬甸戰(zhàn)略與國際問題研究所代表團(tuán)，與該所資深研究員、緬甸前駐印度大使吳溫倫等就中國—東盟、中國—緬甸務(wù)實(shí)合作交流看法。

楊秀萍秘書長(zhǎng)向代表團(tuán)一行簡(jiǎn)要介紹了中心職責(zé)及所做工作。她表示，中國—東盟建立對(duì)話關(guān)系25年來，雙方關(guān)系取得巨大發(fā)展，給20億民眾帶來了實(shí)實(shí)在在的利益，有力地推動(dòng)了本地區(qū)發(fā)展與繁榮。中心今年以來結(jié)合紀(jì)念對(duì)話關(guān)系25周年和中國—東盟教育交流年，開展一系列豐富多彩的活動(dòng)。明年是東盟成立50周年，也是中國—東盟旅游合作年。中心將以此為契機(jī)，積極開拓思路，推動(dòng)中國—東盟各領(lǐng)域務(wù)實(shí)合作再上新臺(tái)階，造福各國人民。中緬兩國山水相連，胞波情誼源遠(yuǎn)流長(zhǎng)。中心愿與緬甸戰(zhàn)略與國際問題研究所加強(qiáng)交流，積極探討合作機(jī)會(huì)，共同為中國與東盟及緬甸關(guān)系發(fā)展貢獻(xiàn)智慧和力量。

吳溫倫大使積極評(píng)價(jià)緬中關(guān)系及中心在東盟—中國關(guān)系中的作用。他表示，緬甸新政府成立后，對(duì)外政策更加積極進(jìn)取，希望同中國深化各領(lǐng)域務(wù)實(shí)合作。作為緬甸重要智庫，緬甸戰(zhàn)略與國際問題研究所希同中心加強(qiáng)溝通合作，為推動(dòng)緬中、東盟—中國關(guān)系向更高層次發(fā)展做出更大貢獻(xiàn)。

緬甸戰(zhàn)略與國際問題研究所成立于1992年7月，系緬主要國際關(guān)系和外交政策研究機(jī)構(gòu)，旨在為緬政府提供外交領(lǐng)域的智力支持和政策建議。

On 13 October 2016, ACC Secretary-General H.E. Mme. Yang Xiuping met with the delegation of Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies (MISIS). She exchanged views with H.E. U Wynn Lwin, Senior Member of MISIS on ASEAN-China cooperation and China-Myanmar practical cooperation.

Secretary-General Yang briefed on ACC’s mandate and work. She said that ASEAN-China relations developed with great momentum since the establishment of dialogue relations 25 years ago, which had brought real benefits to two billion people and regional development and prosperity. With regard to the 25thanniversary of dialogue relations and the Year of Educational Exchange, ACC had carried out a variety of activities. 2017 would be the 50thanniversary of the establishment of ASEAN and the Year of ASEAN-China Tourism Cooperation. ACC would take this opportunity to further promote ASEANChina all-round practical cooperation for the well-being of the people. China and Myanmar were connected by mountains and rivers. Both countries enjoyed timehonored “Paukphaw” friendship. ACC would like to enhance communication and cooperation with MISIS and jointly contribute wisdom and strength to ASEAN-China and China-Myanmar relations.

H.E. U Wynn Lwin spoke highly of Myanmar-China relations and ACC’s role in promoting ASEAN-China relations. He said that Myanmar’s new government adopted a more proactive foreign policy and wished to further deepen practical cooperation in many areas with China. As an important think tank in Myanmar, MISIS would like to have more engagement with ACC and make further contributions, so as to raise Myanmar-China and ASEAN-China relations up to a higher level.

MISIS was founded in 1992. As a major international relations and foreign policy research institution, MISIS aims at providing intellectual support and policy recommendations to the government.
