    Abstract:Life education is a kind of educations which pay close attention to life itself, and guide the return to the nature of life. Life education originated in the western countries, it has already got the booming development in most countries and regions. However, due to the late start life educationin China, andalso start slower, and there are some problems such as lack of attention to life education, lack oflife education practice and professional teachers and so on. While in the treasure house of Chinese traditional culture,there are rich life education resources, especially the Confucianism, Taoist, Buddhism contains profound life education thoughts. These precious life education resources should be well explored and developed, with rooted in Chinese traditional cultural heritage of spiritual wealth for college students to carry out life education, in order to obtain a more direct, more vivid, more profound educational effect.

    一、Background and Meaning of LifeEducation

    (一)What is Life Education

    An American scholarnamed J. Donald Walters is the first person who proposed the concept oflife education in 1968. From the practicehistory of life education, it first began with the cruel reality that peoples requirement to control the rising teenage suicide rate. But life is not only naturallife, the natural life just is the premise of existence and the material carrier. What really makes the difference between the human and animal is that mankind has a rich spiritual life. So when we interpret the meaning of life education in different aspects or from multiple levels, our purpose is not only teach them to cherish life, but also help them to realize the essence of life, understand the meaning of life, and create the value of life.

    (二)Meaning of Life Education

    Life is the most precious thing for human, life is the only carrier of wisdom, strength, and all good feelings. However, in such an era of rapid economic development, the material has beengreatlyenriched,modern people's life is stillsuffering more and more difficulties.These problems and difficulties in peoples life,some of them are common problems, such as Buddhism says, old age, sickness, death, hatred, love parting, to be or not to be etc.; some belong to the special problems thatpersonal encounter. But no matter what problems will be encountered in life, people can still choose to have a dignity, meaningful and valuable life. However, for those modern people who has lost their life philosophy and the spiritual home, they often cant see hope, the bright side,some of them just feel pessimistic, pessimism, despair and helplessness. Especially for college students, they could use what they have learned in college to play important role in state construction, just because they can't solve the problem oflovelorn, getting a job, psychology confusion, parents scolded, classmates contradiction, then choose to end life with suicide or homicide.We will feel even more sadly, andwill be more aware of the importance of life education to college students. College students are the future of the motherland, the hope of the nation. Although most college students have the correct view of life and clear goals in life,they hold a positive attitude to themselves, can accept themselves,understand the value of life better and cherish life, but there are still a large number of college students' life awareness is weak. This part of the college students lack the awe of life, they always don't cherish life, disregardlife, and deny life. Because of their lack of rational thinking about the essence of life, so it is easy for them to damage and ignore their own life or others life.

    (三)Goal of Life Education

    The goal is to make college students to learn how to respect life and understand the relationship between the meaning of life and nature, learn how to live positively, healthy and independently.Through each other for life care, recording, gratitude and share, thus obtain the harmony of body and soul, successful career, happy life, in order to achieve the maximum value of life. Life education is not only to teach students how to cherish their life, but also to inspire students to completely understand the meaning of life,and actively create life value. Life education not just tell college students to pay attention to their own lives, but also to help college students pay attention, respect, love the life of others. Life education will help students to understand the fact that people will live with other species harmoniously under blue sky forever, and life education is not only concerned with enjoying today's life , but also to pay more attention to tomorrow life .

    二、Current situation of College Students' life educ-

    ation

    (一)No Enough Emphasis on Life Education

    It should be said that the essence of education is how to stimulate the enthusiasm of life and energy, realize the value of life, so that everyone can live in this worldpoetically. However, in contrast, under the guidance of the instrumental rationality,China's current higher education pays more attention to earnor cultivate the ability of survival, whether it is family, school and society, often easy to ignore the students' life education. Thus, when college students are in the face of life greatly small problems, they often not well resolve contradictions and problems, sometimes even choose the way with the extreme disregard of life existence.

    (二)Lack of Practice of Life Education

    Life education is a practical education activity. Life education is not just for students to discuss without doing,it needs to take various forms of practice as the support, to help students master the knowledge of life, guide the students to form the correct world outlook, outlook on life and values, to treat life correctly and be kind to your life. But the system of life education for college students in our country is far from perfect, There are few life education project practice project. Even if there is, it is also fragmented, very thin, unable to form a system. To a certain extent, it also weakens the effect of life education for college students.

    (三)Serious Lack of Life Education of Teachers

The reason is that compared with western countries life education, our country's traditional life wisdom and life philosophyon the impact of contemporary college students' life view is more direct, more vivid, and the impact will be more profound. It has been rooted in our nation for thousands of years of culture, rooted in every Chinese people's life, rooted incollege students' way of life and survival condition.Even every detail is deeply engraved on the stamp of the national culture. It can be said that the Chinese nation's cultural tradition contains a wealth of life education resources.The cultural heritage and spiritual wealth of traditional culture classics which has been handed down for thousands of yearsshape the spirit of Chinese culture and the Chinese people's ideological and moral character, and China's traditional culture itselfis knowledgeabout life.With Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism for the three pillars of the Chinese traditional culture contains the profound life education resources, such as the Confucian moral ethics and life belief education, the Taoist "of your own rebirth" and self-cultivation fidelity thought, Buddhist compassion merciful and placid feelings, and these life thoughts are the strong basis for the education which can guide college students to establish a correct outlook on life.

    四、The Significance of Traditional Culture to Colle-

    ge Students Life Education

    (一)Provide Abundant Theoretical Resources for the Develop

    ment of Current Life Education

    The lack of life education is mainly reflected in the lack of life education culture. In order to achieve college students' life education's actual effect, the life education of college students should be based on the local resources of China, based on the traditional Chinese culture, combined with the actual situation of China. China is one of the four Great Ancient Civilizations,the Chinese nation is an ancient and excellent nation. In the long historical process, China has formed its own excellent traditional culture. Whether it is the ultimate pursuit of Confucian "self-cultivation as soon as the life", "Saint and Emperor " or the Taoist "rebirth of your", "fidelity of self-cultivation", or of Buddhism in the "Nirvana", "no life without death", they allcontain rich life education thoughts. Therefore, an important significance of this topic is to in depth excavate life education resources of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, and make the college students' life education more effective, provide an important theoretical basis for the development of the current life education, and to make up for the inadequacy of the theory.

Taoismadvocates natural care and the harmony between man and nature. Buddhism advocates the people-oriented, emphasizing not only to protect their right to live, but also to respect others and animals survival power. Pay attention to face the sentient beings with compassion and gratitude, advocateof mindfulness, away from the evil thoughts, extinguishdelusion, pursuit beyond pain and annoyance, and finally attain the state of happiness and joy. These life thoughtsare helpful to solve the complex life problems,such as disregard for life, life is empty, and destroying lives. These life problems are all modern people facing with. These life thoughts conducive to purify the mind, eliminate the inner restlessness, realize own harmony, and thus to promote the harmony of society as a whole.

    (三)Help to spread the traditional culture

    Since the eighteenth Party Congress was held in China, General Secretary Xi Jinping strongly advocated carry forward the excellent traditional culture of Chinese nation in a series of major domestic and international situations and investigation in the process. In addition to,he often copiously quote authoritative works in various occasions of speech. He explains the essence of the Chinese excellent traditional culture in simple language, combines with the domestic and international development strategy, such as politics, economy, culture and ecology, and apply them to the practice of governing principle politics and great power diplomacy. Carrying forward Chinese excellent traditional culture has great significance for us to firm the common ideal of socialism with Chinese characteristics, to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese dream. The same is true of life education, Through the research and analysis of the traditional culture to find what is conducive to the contemporary life education theory resources, and constantly enrich and improve the content of life education system, not only to teach students correctly deal with setbacks in life, value recognition, establish a correct view of life's good enlightening, but also to have the certain positive effects to inherit and carry forward the Chinese traditional culture.

    (四)Improve and Extend Life Education Content System

    Since life education research was introduced into our country, the study of it is still in its infancy. Life education research is still confined to research the definition of life education from the perspective of macro, that so far, there is still a lack of a unified understanding of the content and the implementation of life education, especially for college students, the content of life education is in urgent need of continuous development and improvement.Therefore, draw lessons from Chinese traditional culture of Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism's wisdom of life, can help us to enrich the content of research on college students' life education, to promote the social from all walks of life thoroughly understand college students' life education has certain value and function.
