    筆者有幸參加了“千課萬人”全國(guó)小學(xué)英語課堂教學(xué)研討觀摩活動(dòng),其中來自杭州的趙涯老師執(zhí)教的PEP五(上)What’s he like?以其親切自然的教態(tài)、明朗流暢的語言、豐富多彩的活動(dòng),讓筆者受益匪淺。

    一、自然交談,問候中導(dǎo)入環(huán)節(jié)

    【教學(xué)片斷一】

    T:Today,I’m your English teacher.OK?

    Ss:OK.

    T:So do you know anything about your English teacher?Do you know where I am from and what my favourite color is?

    Ss:No.

    T:Don’t worry about that.Because I am going to show you something.Look!Here is some information aboutme.Firstly,this is my family name.

    接著趙老師分別以“What is my family name?Where am I from?Whatismy favourite color?What do I do?”四個(gè)問題向?qū)W生介紹自己。

    其中穿插了“Whois wearing yellow today?Who is wearingwhitetoday?Whois wearinggreentoday?Whois your English teacher?And who is your Chinese teacher?Do you like Chinese? Who is your maths teacher?Can you tell me about something your teachers?”等問題,讓學(xué)生自由談?wù)撟约旱耐瑢W(xué)和老師。

    最后趙老師以“Do you know what I like to do?”這一問題,讓學(xué)生猜一猜老師喜歡做什么,引出老師愛玩游戲。

    【教學(xué)賞析】

    上課伊始,趙老師以真實(shí)的情境,利用學(xué)生對(duì)新老師的好奇展開交流,為本課的其他環(huán)節(jié)起到了很好的熱身作用。最后以自己愛玩游戲的話題為接下來的游戲環(huán)節(jié)作鋪墊。

    二、激趣促學(xué),游戲中教學(xué)新知

    【教學(xué)片斷二】

    1.Game1:Opposite!Opposite!Go!Go!Go!

    老師說明規(guī)則后開始游戲。

    T:Long hair,long hair.

    Ss:Short hair,short hair.

    T:Big eyes,big eyes.

    Ss:Small eyes,small eyes.

    T:Small nose,small nose.

    Ss:Big nose,big nose.

    T:Big mouth,big mouth.

    Ss: Small mouth, small mouth.

    ...

    T:Bravo! You are really good at it.So I want to play the second games with you.

    2.Game 2:Yes or No!

    簡(jiǎn)單的游戲操練后呈現(xiàn)圖片,開始“Yes or No”的游戲。

    T:She is a woman.

    Ss:Yes!Yes!Yes!

    T:She is vey young.

    Ss:No!No!No!

    T:Sosheisnotyoung.What’s she like?

    Ss:She is old.

    T:She is old.Follow me,old,old.Then we have this one.Cold,hold,old.She is old,but you are very young.So can you tell me“Who is young in your family? Who isold in your family”?

    教學(xué)單詞old和young.學(xué)生談?wù)撽P(guān)于家庭成員的一些情況。

    T:We have to go on.She is very fat.

    Ss:No!No!No!

    T:So what’s she like?

    Ss:She is thin.

    教學(xué)單詞thin。

    T:The next picture.Get your hands ready.

    T:He is thin.

    Ss:No!No!No!

    T:He is very fat.

    Ss:No!No!No!

    T:I’m sorry.He is not fat,not thin.What’s he like?

    Ss:He is strong.

    教學(xué)單詞strong。

    T:Whoisstrong in our class?

    讓學(xué)生說說班里身體強(qiáng)壯的同學(xué)。

    T:This man is not only strong but...

    Ss:Tall.

    T:This man is tall,but this lovely girl is short.

    教學(xué) tall和 short。

    T:Could you please tell me“Who is tall in your class?Who is short in our class?”

    讓學(xué)生描述班里的同學(xué)。

    T:So you really did a good job.I want to play third game with you.

    3.Game3:Debate!(辯論賽)

    T:He is man.What do you think about this man? If you think this is a very young man,then you say he’s young!Young!Young!Young!If you think this is a very strong man,then you say he’s strong!Strong!Strong!Strong!

    讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)并大聲地表達(dá),最后呈現(xiàn)了潘長(zhǎng)江的滑稽漫畫。

    T:So he is old.He is thin.And he is short.Yeah,he is very funny.

    T:So next one,what’s he like?Sorry,you can’t see the picture clearly.But don’t worry,I know the answer.You can ask me, “What’s he like”?I will tell you.

    教 學(xué) 句 型 “What’s he like?”,讓學(xué)生運(yùn)用句型來詢問并悄悄告訴四個(gè)學(xué)生。

    T: Let’s ask together.What’s he like?Who can tell us?

    請(qǐng)剛才知道答案的學(xué)生來回答。

    T:This man is tall.He is young.He is funny.And he is kind.Look!Who is he?

    呈現(xiàn)小沈陽的圖片,并教學(xué)單詞kind。

    T:Xiao Shenyang is very kind.And I am kind,too.Who is kind in our class?And show us.

    T:He is kind and funny.

    教學(xué)單詞funny。

    T:Aretheyanyfamous guys you know?

    讓學(xué)生說說自己熟悉的笑星。

    【教學(xué)賞析】

    在小學(xué)英語課堂教學(xué)中,恰當(dāng)?shù)剡\(yùn)用游戲可以調(diào)節(jié)課堂氣氛,激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,提高其積極性。趙老師在此環(huán)節(jié)設(shè)計(jì)的三個(gè)游戲?qū)哟胃惺?,語言由易到難層層深入,并且運(yùn)用得恰到好處。在第一個(gè)游戲中,配上愉快的音樂簡(jiǎn)單地復(fù)習(xí)三、四年級(jí)所學(xué)過描述人的一些形容詞,為最后的輸出環(huán)節(jié)做充分準(zhǔn)備;第二個(gè)游戲,不僅僅只是判斷,加上肢體動(dòng)作,在輕松愉快的氛圍中運(yùn)用對(duì)比的方法教學(xué)新詞old,young,fat,thin,strong 等;第三個(gè)游戲,鞏固運(yùn)用剛學(xué)習(xí)的新詞并教學(xué)句型“What’s he like?”??此坪翢o聯(lián)系的三個(gè)游戲,實(shí)則步步展開教學(xué),環(huán)節(jié)緊緊相扣。

    三、創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,對(duì)話中鞏固句型

    【教學(xué)片斷三】

    1.創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,呈現(xiàn)對(duì)話。

    T:Who is his math teacher?

    Ss:Mr.Zhao is his math teacher.

    T:What’s he like?

    Ss:He is thin and short.He’s very kind.

    T:Wow!You got it!Let’s listen and repeat.

    2.學(xué)生聽音模仿。

    T:And this time,who would like to be Xiao Shenyang?And who would like to be Xie Na?

    3.操練對(duì)話。

    T:Xie Na comes to our class today,too.She wants to interview our classmate,so this timeIwantyou tomakea dialogue.

    4.編對(duì)話談?wù)撟约旱睦蠋煛?/p>

    5.上臺(tái)展示。

    【教學(xué)賞析】

    《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)(2011版)》提出:“選擇具有時(shí)代氣息的語言材料,創(chuàng)設(shè)盡量真實(shí)的語言運(yùn)用情境,設(shè)計(jì)生動(dòng)活潑、互動(dòng)性較強(qiáng)的語言學(xué)習(xí)活動(dòng)”。在此環(huán)節(jié)中,教師創(chuàng)設(shè)了《快樂大本營(yíng)》謝娜采訪小沈陽的情境,真實(shí)有趣而又貼近學(xué)生的生活。讓學(xué)生扮演明星進(jìn)行對(duì)話,不失趣味,成功地激發(fā)了學(xué)生的表演欲望。最后創(chuàng)設(shè)謝娜來到教室想要了解學(xué)生的情境,讓學(xué)生創(chuàng)編對(duì)話,談?wù)撟约旱睦蠋?,學(xué)生必然有話可說。

    四、巧設(shè)活動(dòng),書寫中靜待花開

    【教學(xué)片斷四】

    1.Who is your best friend?

    教師大致描述自己的一個(gè)好朋友,讓學(xué)生在會(huì)場(chǎng)找出此人。

    T:So boys and girls.We can’t find a person with this information because we need more details.So I give you the details about my best friend.She has long hair and big eyes.She is wearing grey,blue and yellow today.She is wearing a pair of glasses.So who is my best friend?

    T:So who isyourbest friend?You’re smart.This time,I hope you can describe your friends with these sentences.

    給予更多的細(xì)節(jié)并出示該活動(dòng)的語言框架,讓學(xué)生描述并猜一猜。

    2.輸入“We often... together”.

    T:This time I want to know more about your friends.What do you often do together?

    Ss:We often do homework together.

    Ss:We often go hiking together.

    Ss:We often play games together.

    ...

    T:But I am wondering.Do you share with each other?

    教學(xué)share這一單詞。

    3.輸入“I can share...with my friends”.

    T:What can you share with each other?I can share chocolate with my friends.

    Ss:I can share cakes with my friends.

    Ss:I can share ideas with my friends.

    Ss:I can share my feelings with my friends.

    Ss:I can share stories with my friends.

    Ss:I can share my iphone with my friends.

    ...

    T:You are so kind to your friends.So boys and girls,you are so kind with your friends.This time I hope you can write down a short passage to your friends.

    4.書寫活動(dòng),并讓學(xué)生上臺(tái)展示。

    【教學(xué)賞析】

    英語學(xué)習(xí)的最終目的是培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合語言運(yùn)用能力。趙老師將本節(jié)課的最終目標(biāo)設(shè)定為書寫一篇小短文給自己最好的朋友,不只是單純地描述,還要有真實(shí)的情感滲透。回顧本節(jié)課的所有活動(dòng),最終目標(biāo)都指向最后這一環(huán)節(jié)。學(xué)生在這一活動(dòng)中能真實(shí)地運(yùn)用自己的思維和已有的語言儲(chǔ)備。趙老師設(shè)計(jì)了半開放性的句型框架書寫,降低難度,讓學(xué)生對(duì)此不畏懼、樂于參與,并且鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生將友誼勇敢地表達(dá)出來,情動(dòng)而不過于煽情,值得我們借鑒與學(xué)習(xí)。

    趙涯老師教態(tài)親切自然,語言明晰流暢,通過一些問題讓學(xué)生了解自己,然后引出“I like to play games”,接下來設(shè)計(jì)的三個(gè)游戲Opposite,Yes or No以及Debate,有節(jié)奏感的音樂、豐富的肢體語言,都很好地帶動(dòng)了課堂氣氛。整節(jié)課有傾聽、觀看、小組合作、上臺(tái)表演,也有靜下心來思考和書寫的時(shí)間,這樣的課實(shí)在是太豐富了,值得我們一次又一次地回味,并在自己的教學(xué)中加以實(shí)踐。
