中國這艘大船正在調(diào)整舵盤，其發(fā)展方式正在轉(zhuǎn)型，放緩了經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的步伐，改變在人們的眼前發(fā)生。出于對國民生活質(zhì)量的長遠考慮，污染環(huán)境的重工業(yè)正逐漸退出城市，為其他經(jīng)濟部門提供了發(fā)展空間。如今，互聯(lián)網(wǎng)無疑已成為中國經(jīng)濟發(fā)展的巨大貢獻者。在這里，你時常會看到周邊的中國同學、同事或朋友經(jīng)常上網(wǎng)購物。網(wǎng)購其實并不復雜。但是，對于不會中文的人來說還是有點困難的。那么，對于那些待在中國卻不會中文的外國人來說，如果想要在淘寶上購物，在網(wǎng)上訂火車票、飛機票或用微信購買餐廳優(yōu)惠券，他們該如何做呢？

Nowadays, the Internet is undoubtedly a huge contributor to the Chinese economy. While in China, you can’t help seeing people around you, your Chinese classmates, Chinese colleagues or friends, frequently making purchases on the Internet. In fact, buying things online is not that complicated. However, it possesses a certain trouble for those who don’t speak Chinese. What should a non-Chinese speaking expat consider when buying things from taobao, getting a train or plane ticket online, or using your WeChat to buy coupons for food in the restaurants?

在開始網(wǎng)購前，你首先需要申請一個網(wǎng)上銀行賬戶。在中國，大多數(shù)網(wǎng)站不接受外國信用卡，所以需要辦一個中國本地的銀行卡。中國各大銀行的支行遍布全國各個城市。其中，交通銀行、中國工商銀行、中國農(nóng)業(yè)銀行和中國銀行等是相對較大的幾個銀行。至于選擇哪個銀行，其實差異并不大，關(guān)鍵是要選擇離自己住所較近的銀行。因為一旦銀行卡出現(xiàn)問題，你需要趕到辦卡的銀行去處理。辦理銀行卡時請務必帶上您的護照，除此以外不需要其他文件。申請網(wǎng)上銀行賬戶的流程也非常簡單：首先，將護照交給銀行工作人員，有時可能還需要交10到50元作為存款存進銀行卡里。然后等待對方完成整個開戶流程，再請其幫忙開通網(wǎng)上銀行賬戶。完成這些后你將得到一個線上購物需要用到的U盾。最后再去開戶行的網(wǎng)站上繼續(xù)注冊即可。

The first thing that one needs to prepare before diving into online shopping is an online banking account. Many Chinese websites refuse to accept foreign credit cards, so you will need to get the local bank card. There are numerous branches of Chinese banks in every city, the biggest of which are Bank of Communication 【交通銀行】, ICBC 【Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, 中國工商銀行】，ABC 【Agricultural Bank of China, 中國農(nóng)業(yè)銀行】,Bank of China 【中國銀行】and a couple more. There is not much difference between every bank but what matters is how close it is to the place where you live. If there is any problem related to your card you will need to go to the very branch around your area where you got the card from. Don’t forget to take your passport with you, other documents are not needed. The procedure is very simple: you hand in your passport and in some cases 10 to 50 yuan as a card deposit, and wait until the bank assistant finishes the whole registration process. Ask the bank assistant to help you get the online banking account. It goes together with a USB that you will further use for purchasing online. Later, you will need to proceed with the registration on the website of the bank you got your account from.

開通銀行卡和網(wǎng)上銀行賬戶后，你離淘寶網(wǎng)又近了一步。在淘寶網(wǎng)上注冊也并不費事。填上用戶名、密碼和手機號后，注冊就完成了。當然，我們建議你申請一個支付寶賬戶，如此一來，就可以用銀行卡中的錢在淘寶網(wǎng)上進行付款，能節(jié)省不少時間。有時，你在決定購買物品時或許希望能與網(wǎng)店的店主溝通一些細節(jié)。淘寶作為巨大的線上市場擁有自己獨特的語言。所以如果店主稱呼你“dearie”或者“親”，把你想要購買的物品稱為“treasures”或者寶貝時，你也不必驚訝，這只是淘寶網(wǎng)流行的通用語而已。另外，網(wǎng)購時還需要留意買家正面評價的數(shù)目。中國近日頒布了一條新的法規(guī)：即網(wǎng)上購物者如今可在7天內(nèi)退回已經(jīng)打開的商品并且得到全額退款，這一規(guī)定無疑將大大增強賣家和買家之間的信任。

After successfully gaining a bank card and online banking account, you are one step closer to mastering taobao. Registration there doesn’t take much time, it comes to filling in your username, password, telephone number. The system will send you a message with a number to your telephone that you will also have to type in. And after that, the registration is considered successful. Also, it is advised to get an Alipay(支付寶) account , that can be done directly on the website. The money is transferred from your bank account that makes the whole process of purchasing online less time-consuming. Sometimes, it is necessary to communicate with the shopkeeper before you decide to pay. The huge online marketplace taobao has its own special language. Don’t be surprised when shopkeepers will be calling you “dearie”, or 親 in Chinese, and refer to the things you buy as “treasures” or 寶貝. Always pay attention to the amount of positive feedbacks from the buyers. Recently, a new regulation went into effect: online shoppers can now return opened goods within seven days and get a full refund which will contribute a lot to the trust increasing between both the shopkeeper and the buyer.

中國互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的發(fā)展使得人們足不出戶就能購買火車票和飛機票。不過，對于出行者來說，在春節(jié)和國家法定節(jié)假日前的購票高峰期時搶到票可不是件簡單的事，這些時間段的票總是賣得飛快。

Another convenience that Chinese internet offers is the opportunity to buy train and plane tickets without leaving the comfort of one’s home or office. However, the ticket rush prior to the Spring Festival and the National Holidays is a matter of concern for a traveller since during that time tickets are sold out like hot pies.

飛機票的話既可以通過qunar.com（去哪兒網(wǎng)）, ctrip.com（攜程旅行網(wǎng)）訂購，也可以直接在航空公司的官方網(wǎng)站上訂購，如中國南方航空的官網(wǎng)csair. com，海南航空的hnair.com以及中國國際航空公司的官網(wǎng)airchina.com。以上提到的網(wǎng)站都可以切換成英語界面。訂票的流程也與在淘寶上購物十分相似：注冊，然后用支付寶或者網(wǎng)銀支付，選擇后者支付的話則需要用到U盾。另外，萬事達卡和Visa卡在訂機票時也可使用。

The plane tickets can be purchased on qunar.com, ctrip.com, or official websites of air companies: csair.com for China Southern Airlines, hnair.com for Hainan Airlines, airchina.com for Air China. The websites allow you to switch the language to English. The procedure of buying a plane ticket is very similar to buying on taobao: registration, then pay with either Alipay or money on your online banking account, but in this case, you will need the USB. Master Card and Visa are also acceptable.

不過，比起飛機人們似乎更傾向于乘坐火車出行，隨著中國高速鐵路網(wǎng)絡的拓展，這一趨勢變得更加明顯。中國高鐵運營里程數(shù)世界第一，服務上也與西方國家的鐵路旗鼓相當。在中國，火車票的預售時間是火車發(fā)車前60天，若是在火車站購票的話預售期則提前58天。需要注意的是，購票和上車都需要帶上本人護照。

However, according to the recent trend, more and more people prefer trains to planes, especially with the widening net of high speed railway across China. Chinese HSR is the longest one in the world and can compete with its Western counterparts in service. The pre-sale time of China train tickets is 60 days prior to departure and pre-sale period at railways stations come up to 58 days ahead of departure. The passport is required when you buy the tickets as well as when boarding the train.

在火車站或售票點購票的話可能讓人不太愉快，尤其是在購票高峰期的時候。所以網(wǎng)上購票對于那些不愿意排隊等待的人來說無疑是個完美的選擇。如果已經(jīng)在網(wǎng)上訂了票，那么你可以在火車出發(fā)前的任意時間去車站或代售點取票。有些網(wǎng)站甚至提供送票服務。訂火車票最常見的網(wǎng)站是12306.cn，它唯一的不足是網(wǎng)頁只有中文版本。注冊時同樣需要提供有效的護照號和手機號。注意：支付時必須使用中國銀聯(lián)網(wǎng)上銀行賬戶，并在45分鐘內(nèi)完成，另外，取票的話必須得去火車站或車票代售點。對于那些不太會中文的外國人來說，純中文的網(wǎng)站使用起來還是比較麻煩的，所以出現(xiàn)了一些兼有英文版本的網(wǎng)站：www.china-train-ticket.com, www.chinahighlights.com, www.travelchinaguide. com, 并且這些網(wǎng)站上都提供了詳細的購票攻略。

Buying tickets at the train stations or ticket outlets might be a painful experience, especially during the peak seasons. So purchasing them online is a perfect option for those who are unwilling to queue in a line. If you got your tickets online, it must be collected at the railway station at the day of departure or any other day prior to departure. Some websites offer a ticket delivery service. The most common website for buying train tickets is the Chinese 12306.cn, with the only drawback – the content is all in Chinese. For registration, you will also have to provide the valid passport number and a phone number. Notice, that the payment should be made within 45 minutes with China UnionPay online banking account and tickets must be collected at the railway station or any ticket agency. Using the website all in Chinese language might be troublesome for foreigners with a bad command of Chinese, that is why there is a number of the websites that are English-friendly: www.china-train-ticket.com, www.chinahighlights.com, www.travelchinaguide.com, where you can also find the detailed instruction on how to buy train tickets.

當然，電腦并不是實現(xiàn)網(wǎng)上訂票的唯一工具。之前提到的那些常用的訂票網(wǎng)站Ctrip.com, taobao.com, qunar.com都有相應的移動應用程序，人們可以免費下載到手機上并用手機進行支付。此外，使用微信這款手機軟件，不僅可以給手機充值，而且可以用來存錢，因為它的存款利率比銀行高。微信還可以用來打的，買飛機票或火車票，有時還能以更低的價格購買餐館中某些食物的優(yōu)惠券。

But the computer is not the only device you can make online purchases. The popular websites Ctrip.com, taobao.com, qunar. com offer the mobile apps which you can download for free for your cellphone and make a payment right there. Moreover, with the help of WeChat, one can recharge money on the telephone, use it to store you money as the interest is higher than in the bank, call a taxi, buy plane and train tickets and buy coupons for certain food in the restaurants with attractive discount.

中國游客2014年境外消費超1萬億

Chinese Tourists Spent Over 1 Trillion RMB Overseas Last Year

商務部部長高虎成表示，中國境外購物迅速增長。據(jù)不完全統(tǒng)計，2014年中國公民赴境外旅游人次超1億，境外消費超過1萬億元。高虎成認為，這樣一個境外消費規(guī)模的成因是多種的，其中一個主要原因是價格差，特別是國內(nèi)某些產(chǎn)品的消費稅較高。這使得中國游客更愿意選擇出國消費。

Chinese tourists spent over 1 trillion RMB (160 billion USD) overseas last year, according to Commerce Minister, Gao Hucheng. This is largely due to the huge discounts that Chinese people can get on overseas products. China’s high import taxes mean that for many Chinese people of means, travelling overseas for shopping is a popular option.

滴滴打車和快的打車宣布合并

中國兩家打車軟件巨頭滴滴和快的宣布將以100%換股的方式正式合并，合并后公司市值將達60億美元。合并后，新公司將實施Co-CEO制度，滴滴打車CEO程維及快的打車CEO呂傳偉同時擔任聯(lián)合CEO。兩家公司在人員架構(gòu)上保持不變，業(yè)務繼續(xù)平行發(fā)展，并將保留各自的品牌和業(yè)務獨立性。滴滴打車和快的打車都誕生于2012年，自成立之日開始，兩者的競爭就格外激烈，快的打車、滴滴打車分別以56.5%、43.3%的比例占據(jù)中國打車APP市場累計賬戶份額領(lǐng)先位置。

China’s two biggest taxi apps have announced that they will merge recently, creating a new company with an estimated worth of 6 billion USD. Chief executive of Didi Dache Cheng Wei and Kuaidi Dache chief executive Lv Chuanwei will become co-chief executives and the companies will operate independently under separate brands. Both apps were launched in 2012 and have been in fierce competition ever since. Kuaidi currently holds 56.5 percent of the market share, while Didi holds around 43.3 percent.

380,000 Foreign Students Studied in China Last Year, 9.8% on Chinese Government Scholarships

去年來華外國留學生近38萬人,其中9.8%有中國政府獎學金。教育部發(fā)布的2014年來華留學生數(shù)據(jù)統(tǒng)計顯示，2014年共有377054名各類外國留學人員在中國高等學校、科研院所和其他教學機構(gòu)中學習，其中韓國、美國和泰國留學生位居前三位。留學生人數(shù)最多的城市前三名是北京、上海和天津。碩士和博士研究生比2013年增加18.20%。

Last year, there were nearly 380,000 foreign students in China. 9.8% of foreign students those who studied in China were funded by a Chinese Government Scholarship. According to data from the Ministry of Education, there were 377, 054 foreign students enrolled in China’s universities, research institutions and in other educational institutions in 2014. The largest numbers of foreign students hailed from South Korea, Thailand and the United States. Most foreign students chose to study in universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin. The number of foreign master’s and doctoral students has increased by 18.2% from 2013.
