位于大海與瀉湖之間的帕拉瓦萊弗洛，終年享有充滿陽光的地中海氣候。受到海濱環(huán)境的啟發(fā)，新的兒童及青少年康復中心直接與沙灘相連，外形令人聯(lián)想到優(yōu)雅的郵輪。該建筑的U型布局形成了長長的立面。整個建筑充分向大海敞開，為需要歸屬感和尋求環(huán)繞感的兒童提供了可靠的環(huán)境。交錯的立面和臺地隨整棟建筑的長度延伸開來，像游船的甲板一樣創(chuàng)造出的多層景致帶來了透明感和滲透感，以消解可能出現(xiàn)的孤獨感和壓力。平鋪的溫感材料（木材）、閃亮的顏色（龐貝式的用色）使得庭院以及病人修養(yǎng)區(qū)看起來更像地中海式的度假村而非康復中心。擁有日光照射的戶外與明亮的室內之間永遠充滿了連續(xù)不斷的互動。在這樣一種鼓勵健康和恢復心理自信的環(huán)境中，母親們能夠相互交流，或者花更長的時間與孩子相處。接待區(qū)和休閑活動區(qū)的透明度和流動性為整個中心帶來了友好的氛圍。室外布局納入了針對年輕病人的無障礙設計：藤架遮蔽下的一塊臺地被設計成室外活動區(qū)域。像米卡多游戲棒一樣五顏六色的欄桿讓人聯(lián)想到郵輪上的扶手。臥室內巨大的門使得人們可以將床移動到陽臺上，為孩子們創(chuàng)造了一個能夠看見成行的棕櫚樹的放松的環(huán)境。臥室、治療康復室、餐廳、游戲和教育空間等區(qū)域都能夠看到大海，幾乎整棟建筑都滲透著海的影子。設計強調了板材和滑動百葉窗的顏色，使得整個立面的外觀能夠不斷變化。室內隔墻上貫穿著海軍三角旗紋樣的雕飾帶。這是一棟溫暖而具有包容性的建筑，一切的設計考慮都是為了營造具有游樂性質的環(huán)境，并在尺度上迎合兒童的需求。□（李璠 譯）

8 浴療室/Balneotherapy

Lying between sea and lagoon, the town of Palavas-les-Flocs is spoils by its sunny Mediterranean setting. Giving direct ly onto the beach, the new functional rehabilitation centre for children and adolescents, inspired by the seaside environment,has a form reminiscent of an elegant liner. Its U-shaped morphology permits a long elevation. The building opens generously onto the sea, providing a reassuring setting for children who need to feel that they belong to a community and who seek are encompassing environment. The elevations of the staggered plans and the terraces stretching out along the length of the building like the bridge of a ship create facing views, transparency and a sense of permeability that eliminates any feeling of isolation or st ress. Ti le warm materials (wood), sparkl ing colours (Pompeian renders), patios and patient care arid relaxation areas are more reminiscent of a holiday setting on the Mediterranean than a rehabilitation cent re. There is a constant unbroken movement between sunlit exteriors and bright interiors. Mothers get to know one another, chat to each other arid stay longer with their children in a setting that encourages wel lbeing and psychological reassurance. The large amounts of jasmine growing in and around the centre dispels the typical odours of a hospital setting. The t ransparency and f luidity of the reception and circulation areas al l contribute to the friendliness of the centre. The external layout takes account of the handicaps suf fered by the young patients: one of the terraces is designed as a large play area shel tered f rom the sun by pergolas. The balustrades, highly coloured like a game of Mikado, are reminiscent of the rails on an ocean liner. The bedrooms have large openings that al low the beds to be brought out onto balconies f rom where children can see the rows of pa lm t rees that cont r ibute to the re laxed envi ronment. The bed rooms, t reatment and rehabilitation rooms, as wel l as dining, play and educational spaces al l give onto the blue sea whose ref lections penetrate almost throughout the building.Emphasis is placed on colour through the panels and sliding shutters that constantly change the appearance of the elevation. A frieze of marine pennants runs across the interior wal ls. Everything has been done to create a playful setting scaled to meet the needs of the children, a building that of fers tenderness and generosity. □
