美版“金三順”，你準(zhǔn)備好了嗎？

My Name is Kim Sam Soon (a direct translation of the Korean title) or My Lovely Sam Soon， the super-popular 2005 drama that made Kim Sun Ah and Hyun Bin into household names， is being given the Hollywood treatment and remade as a U.S. television series.

Korean movies such as Il Mare (The Lake House)， My Sassy Girl and others have undergone Hollywood remakes before， but this will be the first time that a

remake drama will be televised.

NBC will be producing the series as a prime-

time[黃金時段] drama， casting[選擇演員] has been completed， with the script is in the revision[修正] process[過程]. Production is scheduled[將……列入時間表中] to begin early this year.

A few notes on the U.S. television process: just

because a drama has entered production does not mean， as it does in Korea， that it will definitely air. The pilot[試播片] will need to be shot， after which point the

network can decide whether or not to order more

episodes. If it dies in that stage， we’ll never see it; and if it proceeds[進行，繼續(xù)下去]， it will usually be given a 13-episode

order. If the ratings[收視率] are good， the back 9 episodes will usually be

ordered to finish out the season. If

ratings are bad， the series may be canceled at any point， whether or not all the produced episodes have been aired. There’s always a small chance that the

drama will be picked up to series but canceled before any episodes air.

If the people involved in this remake are good enough， there’s a chance this series may turn out

decently[還不錯地] well. Also， considering that Kim Sam Soon was compared a lot to Bridget Jones’s Diary， the inherent[內(nèi)在的] premise[前提] of the series is one that

translates well to Western audiences.

雖然好萊塢已經(jīng)翻拍過《觸不到的戀人》、《我的野蠻女友》及其他韓國電影，但在電視上播放翻拍韓國電視劇還是第一次。

美國全國廣播公司（NBC）將把該劇打造成黃金時間段的重點劇。該劇的選角工作已經(jīng)完成，劇本則已進入修訂階段，并計劃在今年年初開拍。

在這里解釋一下美國電視劇的制作流程：與韓國不同，就算一部電視劇已經(jīng)進入制作階段，也不意味著它一定會被播出。他們要先拍攝試播片，電視網(wǎng)再根據(jù)它來決定是否訂購更多集。如果它在這個階段被斃掉，這部電視劇就無緣與我們見面了；如果它能繼續(xù)進行下去，通常會得到13集的訂單。如果收視率高，電視網(wǎng)一般會再訂9集，完成一季。如果收視不好，無論制作完畢的劇集是否已經(jīng)播出，該連續(xù)劇都會被隨時砍掉。雖然幾率不高，但已被選定要拍成連續(xù)劇的劇目在播放前被取消的情況也是有的。

如果參與制作這部翻拍電視劇的人員很優(yōu)秀，也許此劇會大獲成功。另外，考慮到人們經(jīng)常把《金三順》與《BJ單身日記》相提并論，這部電視劇的內(nèi)在構(gòu)思意念對西方觀眾來說應(yīng)該不難理解。
