    關(guān)鍵詞:單數(shù)主句代詞

    Unit 9

    1.我認為他不會游泳。

    誤:I think he cannot swim.

    正:I dont think he can swim.

    析:當主句含有I/We think時,從句的否定意義應(yīng)在主句上變化(即否定的轉(zhuǎn)移),從句無需變化。

    2.你想要哪一種書。

    誤:What kind of a book do you want?

    正:What kind of book do you want?

    析:a/this/that kind of, what kind of后用單數(shù)名詞,且不加冠詞。

    3.我們應(yīng)該向洪戰(zhàn)輝學習。

    誤:We should study from Hong Zhanhui.

    正:We should learn from Hong Zhanhui.

    析:study和learn一般可以互換,但當表示“向某人學習、從……中學”時,只能用learn from。

    4.那女孩大約七八歲。

    誤:The girl is about seven or eight years old.

    正:The girl is seven or eight years old.

    析:about表示“大約”,用于修飾一個確定的數(shù)目,seven or eight表示一個大約的數(shù)目,故不能再用about來修飾。

    5.這是她最喜歡的書。

    誤:This is she favorite book.

    正:This is her favorite book.

    析:ones favorite+名詞,表示“某人最喜歡的……”,其中ones用名詞所有格或形容詞性物主代詞。

    6.艾米想讓我?guī)退麑W漢語。

    誤:Amy wants me helping him learn Chinese.

    正:Amy wants me to help him learn Chinese.

    析:want sb. to do sth.表示“想讓某人做某事”。

    7.有人想要見你。

    誤:Someone want to see you.

    正:Someone wants to see you.

    析:some/any/no/every+thing/body/one構(gòu)成的復合不定代詞作主語時,謂語動詞用單數(shù)形式,故want要加s。

    8.我對北京之行感到很激動。

    誤:Im exciting about the trip to Beijing.

    正:Im excited about the trip to Beijing.

    析:exciting“令人興奮/激動的”,主語一般是物, excited 形容詞“興奮的、激動的、感到興奮的”,主語一般是人。

    9.他真的很喜歡運動。

    誤:He real likes sports very much.

    正:He really likes sports very much.

    析:real是形容詞“真的”,后接名詞,really是副詞“真正地”,修飾形容詞或動詞。

    10.瑪麗和她的父母在看電視。

    誤:Mary with her parents are watching TV.

    正:Mary with her parents is watching TV.

    析:主語后接with…等短語時,謂語動詞的單復數(shù)與主語的名詞單復數(shù)一致,即與with前面的人稱一致。

    11.她常給我們看一些有趣的圖片。

    誤:She often shows us some interesting pictures to see.

    正:She often shows us some interesting pictures.

    析:show sb. sth.表示“給某人看某物”,show本身就有看的意思,to see成了重復詞。

    12.請把照片給我看看。

    誤:Please show the pictures for me.

    正:Please show the pictures to me.

    析:show具有明顯的物質(zhì)或信息方面的傳遞,間接賓語前要加介詞to,不用for,即show sth. to sb.把某物給某人看。

    13.為什么不去求老師幫忙呢?

    誤:Why dont ask the teacher for help?

    正:Why not ask the teacher for help?

    析:Why not do…?是Why dont you do…?的省略形式,無主語時不用助動詞do,not后直接接動詞原形。

    14.你想和我們一起做游戲嗎?

    誤:Do you want to join us to play games.

    正:Do you want to join us in playing games.

    析:join sb. in doing sth.表示“和某人一起做某事”。

    15.月球上既沒有水,也沒有空氣。

    誤:There is no air and water on the moon.

    正:There is no air or water on the moon.

    析:當一系列并列的事物處于否定句中,用or連接表示全部否定,而用and連接表示部分否定。

    16.我可以問你一些問題嗎?對不起,你不可以。

    誤:——May I ask you some questions?

    ——Sorry, you maynt.

    正:——May I ask you some questions?

    ——Sorry, you cant /mustnt.

    析:以may開頭的一般疑問句的否定回答一般不用…maynt,而常用…cant或mustnt。

    Unit 11

    17.我想找一份待遇優(yōu)厚的工作。

    誤:I want a well-paid work.

    正:I want a well-paid job.

    析:work“工作”,它是不可數(shù)名詞。job“工作”是可數(shù)名詞, 故一份工作要用a job。

    18.我弟弟每天5點到家。

    誤:My brother gets to home at five every day.

    正:My brother gets home at five every day.

    析:get to“到達”,后若接副詞如home, here, there等,to要去掉。

    19.她在聽一首新歌。

    誤:She is listening a new song.

    正:She is listening to a new song.

    析:listen為不及物動詞,后接賓語時,要用to。

    20.我通常9點10分睡覺。

    誤:I usually go to bed at nine ten oclock.

    正:I usually go to bed at nine ten.

    析:oclock用于表示整點“……點鐘”,幾點幾分后不可以用oclock。

    21.他們早上6點到校。

    誤:They get to school at 6 a.m. in the morning.

    正:They get to school at 6 in the morning.

    正:They get to school at 6 a.m..

    析:a.m.和p.m.不可與in the morning/in the afternoon連用。

    22.他想讓我們和他一起去游泳。

    誤:He wishes us go swimming with him.

    正:He wishes us to go swimming with him.

    析:wish后可以接不定式或復合不定式,即wish to do sth.和wish sb. to do sth.

    23.他們通常什么時候睡覺?

    誤:When do they usually go to the bed?

    正:When do they usually go to bed?

    析:go to bed指“上床睡覺”,go to the bed則表示“向床邊走去”。

    24.她出生在2000年8月1日的早上。

    誤:She was born in the morning of August 1st, 2000.

    正:She was born on the morning of August 1st, 2000.

    析:on用于具體指某一天或某天某段時間,本句指1日的早上,故要用介詞on。

    25.謝謝你告訴我這個好消息。

    誤:Thanks for tell me the good news.

    正:Thanks for telling me the good news.

    析:Thanks for doing sth.表示“因……而感謝”,for后接動詞ing形式。

    Unit 12

    26.因為他和藹可親,所以我們都喜歡他。

    誤:Because he is nice, so we all like him.

    正:Because he is nice, we all like him.

    析:漢語中的“因為……所以”,在英語中用了because引導,從句就不能用so,同樣主句中用了so,從句就不能用because。

    27.我最喜歡的學科是數(shù)學。

    誤:I favorite subject is math.

    正:My favorite subject is math.

    析:“ones favorite+名詞”為主語,意為“某人最喜歡的……”,其中ones起限定作用,常用名詞所有格或形容詞性物主代詞,不能用主格代詞。

    28.他正忙著做作業(yè)。

    誤:He is busy for his homework.

    正:He is busy doing his homework.

    正:He is busy with his homework.

    析:be busy doing sth.指“忙于做某事”,相當于be busy with sth.。

    29.我是父母惟一的兒子。

    誤:I am my parents only one son.

    正:I am my parents only son.

    析:only“惟一的、獨有的”,本身就表達“一”的意思,不需要再加one。

    30.誰教你們生物?

    誤:Who teach your biology?

    正:Who teaches you biology?

    析:who為主格形式,who+陳述句,通常認為who是第三人稱單數(shù),句中的謂語動詞要用三單形式teaches,teach是動詞,故后的代詞要用賓格you。

    31.我們呆在家里做作業(yè)。

    誤:We stay at home and to do our homework.

    正:We stay at home and do our homework.

    析:and是一種并列關(guān)系,前后的動詞要一致,故把to去掉。
