This year, China celebrates its first “Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Spring Festival”. ICH means traditions passed down from old times, such as paper-cutting, lion dances, and traditional food-making. These traditions can help us remember our history and culture.
In the past, Spring Festival mainly featured family dinners and red envelopes. But this year, we tried more ICH activities. My family made paper lanterns, and our community had a fun shadow puppet show. My grandparents even taught young people to write Spring Festival couplets! It was interesting to mix old traditions with modern life.
I also learned that protecting ICH is not only about the past. For example, some artists use traditional patterns to make cute Chinese zodiac stickers for phones! This shows that old culture can be new and fun. One of the most interesting parts was the combination of ICH and modern life. For example, some companies created digital versions of traditional festivals, allowing people to enjoy virtual lion dances and fireworks on their phones. In this way, even those far away from home could still feel the strong festival atmosphere.
This Spring Festival, while eating dumplings and watching fireworks, let’s also remember the value of our traditions. Culture makes us who we are!

Ne Zha 2 is a well-liked Chinese cartoon movie. It goes on with the story of Ne Zha. Ne Zha is a brave and a bit naughty young hero from Chinese old stories. The film looks really amazing, and it also tells us important things about courage, friendship, and finding out who we are.
In the movie, Ne Zha is born with special powers. But because of these powers, other people often don’t understand him. A lot of people are afraid of him and think he makes trouble. But Ne Zha doesn’t care what they think. He decides to show that he can use his powers to do good things. On his way, he meets many hard things. He has to fight strong enemies and also deal with his own problems inside.
One big idea in Ne Zha 2 is that believing in yourself is very important. Even though Ne Zha has a hard time, he never stops trying. He learns to like himself for who he is. Then he uses his power to protect his friends and family. The movie tells us that everyone can be a hero. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what others think of you.
Another important thing we learn from Ne Zha 2 is how valuable friendship is. Ne Zha’s friends are always with him, in good times and bad. Together, they get through many difficulties. This makes us remember that we don’t have to face problems by ourselves. Having friends who support us can change everything.
Ne Zha 2 is not just an exciting story. It’s also about growing up and accepting ourselves. It makes young people want to be brave, kind, and be true to themselves. Whether you like exciting action parts or touching moments, this movie has something for everyone.
To sum up, Ne Zha 2 is a great film. It mixes exciting action with useful lessons in life. It’s a good choice for students who want to know more about Chinese culture and also enjoy an inspiring story.
