Abstract:Consciously and accurately understanding and grasping the core essence of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation with the philosophy of the grand historical view is the premise of constructing the modern civilization of the Chinese nation. As a civilization expression of a Chinese path to modernization, the construction of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation not only continues the roots of the traditional civilization of the Chinese nation for 5000 years, but also is the latest form of the development of modern civilization in the world. Just as the “new nature” of a Chinese path to modernization stems from the “new road”, that is, from the transcendence of Western style modernization and the modernization of old China, the modern civilization of the Chinese nation also needs to trace back to how to transcend Western style modern civilization. Our semantic analysis must start from the historical evolution of “modern” and “modernity”, and then progress to the evolutionary logic of what is meant by “modern civilization”, and then clarify the inevitable expression and theoretical purpose of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, which is the result of the creative transformation and innovative development of the traditional civilization of the Chinese nation. It is the mission of our times to reveal the historical, practical and theoretical logic of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation from the grand historical view of the unity of history and logic, to clarify the essential connotation, basic characteristics, root and soul, main functions and operating laws of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, and to compose the discourse system of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation as an independent knowledge system.

Abstract:The establishment of political party science with Chinese characteristics is theoretical exploration to build a unique disciplinary system, knowledge system, and discourse system in the world, and practical exploration to provide theoretical support for the multi-party cooperation and political consultation system led by the CPC. Based on long history and practice of centennial struggle of the CPC, the discipline system of political party science with Chinese characteristics mainly includes the party’s governance science, the party’s social work science, the party’s organizational work science, the party’s propaganda work science, the party’s united front work science, and the party’s discipline inspection work science. To establish political party science with Chinese characteristics, we must firstly establish a research team that is familiar with the practice of party affairs; secondly, we must conduct in-depth research on the rules of the CPC, especially the unique governance problems of major parties; and thirdly, we must strengthen research on the experiences and lessons of foreign ruling parties, especially those that have been in power for a long time.

Abstract:Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law is a brilliant example of adhering to “integrating the basic/underlying tenets of Marxism with China’s realities and the best of its traditional culture” in the field of the rule of law. Based on the position, viewpoints and methods of Marxist rule of law theory, General Secretary Xi Jinping has carried out creative transformation and innovative development of the excellent traditional legal culture, giving it new connotations for the times and revitalizing the wisdom of traditional legal culture. Xi Jinping thought on the rule of law in relation to traditional Chinese legal culture can be understood and grasped from the perspective of five pairs of relationships: politics and the rule of law, the people and the rule of law, ancient and modern law, morality and the law and nature and the rule of law.

Abstract:Understanding the connotation of New Quality Productivity requires delving into the social-historical context of its formation and development scientifically. This article follows the analytical logic of historical materialism, exploring the rich connotations of New Quality Productivity from three levels: technological forms, developmental stages, and the general evolution of human social productivity. Through the deconstruction of the labor process, the constituent elements of New Quality Productivity are examined, along with an analysis of its impact on the process of social reproduction. Finally, we discuss about the important role of economic institutions in the formation of New Quality Productivity. We believe that New Quality Productivity represents the productivity resulting from a new round of industrial and technological revolution, and the formation of strategic emerging industrial clusters. It is a type of productivity necessary for achieving high-quality development in the new era, requiring the integration and enhancement of traditional productivity with new vitality in the contemporary era. The formation of New Quality Productivity will have a significant impact on the organization of social production and the process of social reproduction in the new era. To cultivate momentum for the formation of New Quality Productivity, it is essential not only to adhere to innovation-driven development, but also to rely on comprehensive and deep reforms to stimulate intrinsic vitality. The unique advantage and fundamental guarantee for the formation of New Quality Productivity in China lie in the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

Abstract:Digital technologies have played a positive role in promoting economic growth and improving social well-being, becoming an important engine for achieving high-quality economic and social development. Digital technology is an important way to promote the accumulation of health human capital and a key support for achieving high-quality population development. This paper systematically expounds the logical mechanism of digital technology promoting the accumulation of health human capital from the theoretical level, and empirically tests the specific impacts of digital technology on the accumulation of health human capital from two dimensions of population “l(fā)ife length and life quality” by using the transnational panel data of 118 countries from 1990 to 2020 and the differences in economic development levels of different countries. We found that the wide application of digital technology in the field of health can help reduce the mortality rate and increase the healthy life expectancy of the population, thus promoting the accumulation of health human capital. It can be achieved by improving the efficiency of government health expenditure, improving digital health literacy, increasing leisure time and promoting environmental improvement. The differences in digital technologies’ ability to improve health and human resources are closely related to the disparities in national economic development levels. Based on the above analysis, the research believes that we should increase medical technology innovation, give full play to the advantages of the new nationwide system, focus on technical research, realize the integration of modern digital technology, medical and health big data, medical whole process, and multi-factor of relevant parties in the medical and health industry, and innovate and develop the Chinese-style precision medicine development model.

Abstract:Kafka’s short masterpieceOnFablesis not only a display of the “allegorical” nature of his text, but also an “allegorical display” of his writing process, as well as an illustration of the “allegorical structure” of the uncertain binary relationship between “l(fā)iterature and reality” inherent in the literary world, which can be regarded as “meta-fable”, “final fable” or “allegory about allegory”. In the vision provided by this fable, the allegorical world and the real world are transformed and interdependent and the eternal driving force for literature to interpret and transform reality and literary criticism to interpret and transform literary texts all come from this allegorical structure. From the point of view of comparative literary origins and philology, Kafka’s work and the “forerunners” of the insights it contains can be traced back to Zhuangzi in ancient China and Euripides in ancient Greece, thus illuminating the allegorical nature of the “ancient-modern structure” inherent in the relationship between ancient and modern literature.
