From Scissors to Storytelling:Manchu Paper Cutting in Yiwulü Mountain

醫(yī)巫閭山滿族剪紙是中國東北地區(qū)的一種民間藝術(shù)，歷史悠久，主要是以剪刀在紙上切割出各種圖案。醫(yī)巫閭山滿族剪紙圖案豐富，是國家級非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)之一。

Yiwulü Mountain Manchu paper cutting is one of the Manchu folk arts in Northeast China and has a long history.It came from Yiwulü Mountain and was regarded as one of the treasures of Manchu culture.

Yiwulü Mountain Manchu paper cutting is an art form that uses scissors to cut various shapes and patterns on paper.The paper used for paper cutting is usually plain white or red, while the scissors are specially made sharp tools.

Manchu paper cutting features( 使突出) a wide range of patterns and themes, including animals, plants, figures, flowers.

These patterns not only have decorative(裝飾的)purposes but also carry symbolic(象征的) meanings,reflecting the beliefs, life, and traditional values of the Manchu people.
