Forum on Grand Rivers Civilization and Tourism -World Tourism Alliance Deepening Cultural and Tourism Cooperation between Chongqing and Shanxi

The 3rd Forum on Great Rivers Civilization and Tourism -World Tourism Alliance (Linfen,Shanxi).第三屆大河文明旅游論壇世界旅游聯(lián)盟·黃河對話在山西省臨汾市舉行。

On September 16thto 19th,Liu Qi,Secretary of the CPC Chongqing Committee and Director-General of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism,led a delegation to attend the Summit of Key Experimental Zones for Ecological Protection and High-Quality Development of the Yellow River Basin and the 3rdForum on Great Rivers Civilization and Tourism -World Tourism Alliance (WTA) Yellow River Dialogue in Shanxi Province.The event was meant to fully utilize the WTA as a platform to strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between Chongqing and the members of the Alliance and further deepen cultural and tourism cooperation between Chongqing and Shanxi.

During the event,Liu Qi had extensive talks and exchanges with attendees including Duan Qiang,Chairman of WTA,Liu Shijun,Secretary General of WTA,Yan Han,Deputy Secretary General of the World Tourism Cities Federation,and Nahra Najib,Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Egyptian Embassy in China.Nahra Najib agreed with the proposal for joint application for the list of world heritage and the two sides agreed to organize an online meeting to study the specific details of application in the near future.The delegation also visited Yungang Grottoes,and relevant personnel held discussions and exchanges on the protection of cave temples,protection and inheritance of world cultural heritage,and the integrated development of culture and tourism.

為充分借助世界旅游聯(lián)盟平臺加強重慶與聯(lián)盟會員間交流合作，進一步深化渝晉文化和旅游合作，市文化旅游委黨委書記、主任劉旗于9月16日至19日帶隊赴山西省參加黃河流域生態(tài)保護和高質(zhì)量發(fā)展重要實驗區(qū)峰會暨第三屆大河文明旅游論壇世界旅游聯(lián)盟·黃河對話。

會議期間，劉旗先后與世界旅游聯(lián)盟主席段強、秘書長劉士軍和世界旅游城市聯(lián)合會副秘書長嚴晗、埃及駐華大使館臨時代辦納格拉·納吉布等與會嘉賓廣泛會談交流；埃及駐華大使館臨時代辦對“聯(lián)合申遺”的提議深表贊同，雙方商定近期組織線上會議研究具體申遺工作。重慶代表團考察了云岡石窟，與有關(guān)負責(zé)人就石窟寺保護、世界文化遺產(chǎn)保護傳承、文旅融合發(fā)展等進行探討交流。
