作為山東惟一的國家級(jí)新區(qū)，青島西海岸新區(qū)不僅在青島發(fā)展大局中舉足輕重，她的起勢(shì)也體現(xiàn)著山東乃至北方區(qū)域發(fā)展的質(zhì)量。

地區(qū)生產(chǎn)總值位列19個(gè)國家級(jí)新區(qū)前三強(qiáng)，全國百強(qiáng)區(qū)第四名；建成全球最大海洋基因庫，獲批首個(gè)國家深遠(yuǎn)海綠色養(yǎng)殖試驗(yàn)區(qū)；引進(jìn)世界500強(qiáng)投資項(xiàng)目107個(gè)，總數(shù)達(dá)到321個(gè)，青島自貿(mào)片區(qū)獲評(píng)“中國十大最具投資價(jià)值園區(qū)”；駐區(qū)高校達(dá)20所，在校生共18.4萬人；2021年，西海岸新區(qū)GDP突破4000億大關(guān)，繼續(xù)領(lǐng)跑青島十區(qū)市的同時(shí)，也成為全省首個(gè)突破4000億的區(qū)市……過去的五年，青島西海岸新區(qū)干出了高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的“新區(qū)速度”，可謂是成績(jī)不斐。

未來五年，是青島西海岸新區(qū)的戰(zhàn)略機(jī)遇疊加期、動(dòng)能轉(zhuǎn)換關(guān)鍵期、深化改革攻堅(jiān)期、高水平開放加速期、城市品質(zhì)躍升期，發(fā)展基礎(chǔ)之堅(jiān)實(shí)前所未有、機(jī)遇之難得前所未有、舞臺(tái)之廣闊前所未有。

青島西海岸新區(qū)，將開啟屬于自己的又一個(gè)五年新征程。

As the only national-level new area in Shandong， Qingdao West Coast New Area not only plays an important role in the overall development of Qingdao， but also reflects the development quality of Shandong and even the northern region.

The regional GDP of West Coast New Area ranks among the top three of the 19 national-level new areas and fourth among the top 100 districts in China； it has built the worlds largest marine gene bank and was approved to build the first national deep sea green aquaculture experimental zone； it has introduced 107 investment projects from Fortune Global 500， with the total reaching 321； China （Shandong） Pilot Free Trade Zone， Qingdao Area was rated as "Chinas top ten parks to invest"； there are 20 colleges and universities in the area， with a total of 184，000 students； in 2021， its regional GDP exceeded 400 billion yuan， continuing to take the lead among the ten districts and county-level cities of Qingdao and also becoming the first district or county-level city in the province to surpass 400 billion yuan... In the past five years， Qingdao West Coast New Area has realized high-quality development at amazing speed and made remarkable achievements.

For Qingdao West Coast New Area， the next five years， a period with overlapping strategic opportunities， will be crucial for replacing the old growth drivers with new ones， deepening reform， accelerating high-level opening-up and greatly improving urban quality. With a solid foundation for development， rare opportunities and unprecedentedly broad stage lie ahead.
