遼寧省圖書館為省級綜合性公共圖書館，是遼寧省藏書、圖書目錄、圖書館間協(xié)作協(xié)調(diào)及業(yè)務(wù)研究與交流的中心，項目位于沈陽市渾南區(qū)，沈陽創(chuàng)新天地南側(cè)，總建筑面積103,267m2，地上4層，地下1層，藏書量1061萬冊，閱覽座席近7000個，日接待讀者可達10,000人次。遼寧省圖書館的設(shè)計在保持區(qū)域文化場館建筑群總體一致風格的原則下，著重突出圖書館建筑的特征，外部造型和內(nèi)部空間以“書架”為基本元素，將建筑本身作為一個展示的平臺，設(shè)計構(gòu)思一以貫之，內(nèi)外和諧統(tǒng)一。外觀造型采用白色大挑檐對建筑立面進行有節(jié)奏的劃分，玻璃幕墻、石材幕墻及仿木百葉等現(xiàn)代建筑材料有序組織，以最少的建筑語言構(gòu)造出氣勢恢宏、細節(jié)精巧的建筑形象。

7 夜景/Night view

Liaoning Provincial Library is a provincial-level comprehensive public library, a centre for collections, catalogues, inter-library coordination and business research and exchange in Liaoning Province. The project is located in Hunnan District of Shenyang, south of Shenyang Innovation World, with a total construction area of 103,267 m2, four floors above ground, a basement level, a collection of 10.61 million books, nearly 7000 reading seats, and a capacity of 10,000 readers per day. The design of Liaoning Provincial Library focuses on the characteristics of the library building, while maintaining the principle of the overall consistency of the style of the regional cultural venues.. The external form and internal space are based on the basic element of the "bookshelf" using the building itself as a display platform. The design concept is consistent, and the internal and external harmony is unified. White overhanging eaves are used to divide the building fa?ade rhythmically. Modern building materials such as glass curtain walls, stone curtain walls and faux wood louvres are organised in an orderly way to create a magnificent and exquisite architectural image with minimal architectural language.
