巧妙整合句子，提升寫作水平

句子整合，即將兩個零散、簡單的句子整合成一個連貫、完整、流暢的句子。在英語寫作中，如果一味地使用簡單句平鋪直敘，易使文章猶如一碗白開水，呆板單調，平淡無奇，難以引人人勝，獲得閱卷老師的青睞。若能掌握句子整合技巧，則可以豐富表達內容，使句式靈動活潑，語義銜接自然，結構緊湊連貫，行文如流水般流暢，讀來酣暢淋漓，讓人眼前一亮。那么如何有效整合英語句子呢？對此，筆者總結了幾點方法，以期能助力同學們寫好英語書面表達。

一、善用短語整合

在高中英語書面表達中，善用短語整合句子，可使句子表達更加高級，使文章錦上添花。具體可以從如下方面入手：

（1）利用介詞短語整合句子。如：原句：NantangTown is not big but beautiful。It has an area of about 5square kilometers。這兩個句子利用介詞短語可以整合為：Nantang Town，with an area of about 15 square kilo-meters。is not big but beautiful。

（2）借助形容詞短語整合句子。如：原句：MissYang was angry at the boy’s over Sleeping。Miss Yangwent down to wake him up。這兩個句子利用形容短語可以整合為：Angry at the boy’s over sleeping，MissYang went down to wake himup。

（3）使用非謂語動詞短語整合句子。如：Tom re。ceived a letter just now。n said that his mother wouldcome to see him soon。運用非謂語動詞可以整合為：Tom received a letter just now saying his mother wouldcome to seehim soon。

二、妙用并列連詞

利用并列連詞合整合句子是英語寫作中最為常見的一種手段。它可以增強句子的整體性、連貫性以及邏輯性，使文章讀來完整、嚴謹、緊湊、流暢。常見的并列連詞有：and，but，or，yet，while，not only…but also…，as well as，both…and…either…or，nether…nor…等。

例如，表達“政府應該意識到為所有兒童提供教育的重要性，普通人也應該意識到這一重要性”這一信息時，一般句：The government should be aware ofthe importance Of providing education for all the chil-dren。The average people should be aware ofthe impor-tance，too。整合句：①運用并列連詞as well as：Thegovernment。as well as the average people should beaware ofthe importance ofproviding education for a11the children。②運用并列連詞not only…but also…Not only the government but also the average peopleshould be aware of the importance of providing educa-tion for all the children。對比一般句和整合句，顯然整合句的語意銜接更加自然，表達更富有邏輯。

三、巧用主從復合句

在英語寫作中，要使文章語言生動、文采飛揚、精彩紛呈，離不開主從復合句的巧妙運用。運用主從復合句可以使文章句式結構嚴謹，內涵豐富，邏輯嚴密。同學們在進行英語書面表達時，要注意長短句的靈活搭配，巧用同位語從句、賓語從句、定語從句、狀語從句等主從復合句對句子予以整合，使句式錯落有致，語意豐富，從而凸顯文章的寫作亮點，提高書面表達的寫作質量。

比如，在表達“政府應采取措施改善公共交通系統(tǒng)，使公共交通系統(tǒng)更方便市民”這一信息點時，有的同學在寫作時先提出兩個內容要點：一是政府應采取措施改善公共交通系統(tǒng)。即The government shouldtO dO something to improve the public transport system。二是公共交通系統(tǒng)可以使市民更方便。即The publictransport system should be more convenient for citi-zens。然后可以運用條件狀語從句，將這兩個內容要點整合成一個連貫自然的語句：Ifthe governmentcould improve the public transport system。it would bemore convenient for citiens。

再如，聽和說對于一門語言學習至關重要，通過它們你能取得很大的進步。一般表達：Listening andspeaking are very important for language learning。Youcan make great progress through them;整合表達：Lis-tening and speaking are very important for languagelearning，by which you are sure to make great progress。

總之，在平時的高中英語書面表達訓練中，同學們要多練、多思、多總結，熟練掌握合并句子的技巧，恰到好處地合并英語句子，從而增強語言的表現(xiàn)力和感染力，增強英語書面表達的效果。
