牛津高中英語Unit 2 The Olympic Games 案例分析

摘 要：《普通高中英語課程標(biāo)準（2017年版）》以立德樹人為宗旨，提出了由語言能力、文化意識、思維品質(zhì)和學(xué)習(xí)能力四要素構(gòu)成的英語學(xué)科核心素養(yǎng)目標(biāo)。本次省公開課類型為閱讀理解與高考七選五題型相關(guān)聯(lián)。主題語境為人與社會——文學(xué)藝術(shù)與體育中的READING 部分。本篇案例從文本解讀的三個維度WHAT，WHY，HOW來設(shè)計。

本節(jié)課的文本來自于一篇網(wǎng)絡(luò)文章。文章以奧運會為主題，著重介紹了奧運會的歷史、一些著名運動員代表、以及中國在奧運會中作出的貢獻和取得的成就。

一、教學(xué)過程

本節(jié)課采用了“自主，互動，探究”的教學(xué)方式，輔助以多媒體，達到較好的教學(xué)效果。

Step 1 Lead-in

【教師活動】 Introduce the topic. Show Ss some pictures and ask them what the biggest sports meeting in the world is.

【學(xué)生活動】 Participate in the discussion about sports and get the first impression of the Olympic Games.

【設(shè)計意圖】 To know about the issue and get ready to read the passage.

Step 2 While-reading

【教師活動】

1. Guide Ss to skim the passage to divide the passage into several parts.

2. Ask Ss to write down the subheadings.

3. Guide Ss to analyze the logical connections in each part and lead them to find out how the Olympic spirit is reflected in the passage.

4. Guide Ss to do an exercise to check their sentences.

【學(xué)生活動】

1. Read the whole passage quickly and get the structure of the passage.

2. Read the passage again and write down the subheadings.

3. Fill in the blanks.

4. Analyze the logical connections in the passage.

5. Check the sentences written before together and know why the author uses these sentences.

【設(shè)計意圖】

1. Guide Ss to grasp the structure and the main idea of the passage.

2. Guide Ss to develop the ability to analyze and learn the logical connections in the passage.

3. Guide Ss to appreciate the Olympic spirit.

二、課堂教學(xué)評估與反思

本次省公開課類型為閱讀理解與高考七選五題型相關(guān)聯(lián)。屬于主題語境——人與社會——文學(xué)藝術(shù)與體育中的READING 部分。本課從文本解讀的三個維度來設(shè)計。

WHAT

本課文章主題明確，著重講了奧運的歷史，代表運動員和中國在奧運會上的貢獻和成就。

HOW

新大綱指出從文章寫作結(jié)構(gòu)來講，句與句、段與段、標(biāo)題與正文都存在著邏輯關(guān)系。課程的設(shè)計體現(xiàn)了邏輯性READ FOR THE STRUCTURE， READ FOR THE SUBHEADINGS， READ FOR DETAILS

文章挖的五個句子是段落的立論句、段落主題句、話語標(biāo)記句however，體現(xiàn)了新課標(biāo)在語篇知識上的要求。

WHY

從文章的深層含義，學(xué)生實際生活的聯(lián)系，挖掘文本的育人價值來說。本節(jié)課設(shè)計中提問how does this part or how does this sentence reflect Olympic spirit？ why does the author choose these Chinese athletes？

文章每個部分都體現(xiàn)了奧運精神。特別在第四部分中，學(xué)生通過閱讀，了解中國在奧運會作出的貢獻與取得的成就，可以提升民族自豪感和自信心。

總之，該公開課層層遞進、環(huán)環(huán)相扣，體現(xiàn)了課程設(shè)計的邏輯性。
