A 25-year-old girl who grew up in the Netherlands is looking for her birth parents，who live in Zunyi，southeast China's Guizhou Province.

Zhao Guoguo was born on Sep.6th，1993.She lived at the social welfare（福利）home in Zunyi City until July 1995，before being adopted by a family in the Netherlands.

A citizen surnamed Zhou picked up a crying baby at the gate of the then intermediate （中級的）people's court of Zunyi，which now is called Fayuan Road，on the morning of Sep.8th， 1993.He sent the baby to the hospital for a health check and feeding，and reported it to the police office.Then the baby was sent to the social welfare home at Honghuagang district and named Zhao Guoguo，according to admission archives（檔案）.

Accordingto Zhao，she waspossiblyborn downtown，near the welfare home.

“A nurse took very good care of me at the welfare home.She brought me to her home every week-end，” Zhao said.She and her foster（養(yǎng) 育 ）parents found the nurse in 2004 when visiting the welfare home，but they didn't leave a way to contact（聯(lián)系）each other，except a photo.

Zhao is one of the earliest foreign adoptions ever recorded from Zunyi.Foreign couples mustsubmitmaterialstothe Chinese adoption centerunder the charge ofMinistry of Civil Affairs of China and receive strict examinations before adoption.

Now she lives with her foster parents and sister in Groningen，northeast Netherlands，working as a chef in a restaurant.

Starting last October，Zhao tried to find her birth parents using Weibo，a Chinese social platform，butmade little progress due to the time zone differencesandlanguage barrier.
