“蛙兒子怎么還不回家？”這大概是前段時(shí)間朋友圈刷屏最多的一句話了。作為一款超級(jí)休閑的手機(jī)游戲，即使沒有中文版，《旅行青蛙》照樣沖上APP排行榜的寶座。這只可愛的“萌蛙”顯然已成為很多年輕人的新寵，究竟是什么樣的魅力讓玩家無視語言障礙而把這款全日文游戲送到第一的位置呢？

It is reported that a Japanese-made game about a frog is the latest mobile phone game offering to prove a hit among China’s millions of gamers.Tabi Kaeru,or “Travel Frog”,has topped the charts on Apple’s app store in China for free downloadable games.

The game centers on a frog that goes on trips around Japan.Players cannot do anything with the frogs’route.Neither can players communicate with their frogs during their trips.Occasionally,frogs will send some photos back.However,nobody could tell for sure what’s coming next.

Most importantly,players can’t decide how long their frogs travel outside.When frogs are travelling outside,for two or three days,or for three to four days,players could do nothing other than gathering clovers in the courtyard,and wait for long stretches of time for their little frog sons and wonder what they’re doing.

The game was supposed to reflect the trendy Buddhist lifestyle and its spirit“whatever will be,will be”,since it is not predetermined whether you see the frog at home when you open the app.

Some players are so fascinated that they are using software to cheat and boost the numbers of clovers they can collect.This addictive mobile game attracted 100 million users in just two weeks.

“I wish I could be the frog I raised in the game as I would like to be able to go on a trip whenever I want,” one person wrote, “It’s like the life of a monk who lives life following his heart.” Another said, “I feel like I’m the mother of the frog in the game.It’s really interesting for a single girl like me,and raising the frog is a way of relieving stress.”
