"If you had to choose, would you prefer a woman with a hot body or a beautiful face?" It's a classic①classic 英 ['kl?s?k] 美 ['kl?s?k] adj. 名著;經(jīng)典著作;大藝術(shù)家question that every woman wants to ask their boyfriend.
I once read an article that said, nowadays②nowadays 英 ['na??de?z] 美 ['na??dez]adv. 當(dāng)今, some women wouldn't let their boyfriends see their real face.
Part of the reason they behave this way is people impose③impose 英 [?m'p??z] 美 [?m'poz]vi. 澆鑄成鉛版;使成為陳規(guī)(stereotyp的過去分詞)ideas about beauty on them. The other part of the reason is they are not confident enough about themselves.
So, instead of asking men to answer this question, women should bear in mind that the scope of beauty is getting broader and broader. Only when they really appreciate⑤appreciate 英 [?'pri???e?t; -s?-] 美 [?'pri??et]vt. 增值;漲價(jià)their own beauty, will they become more conf i dent⑥con fi dent 英 ['k?nf?d(?)nt] 美 ['kɑnf?d?nt]adj.
"I feel free, once I realized I was never going to fi t the narrow mold⑦mold 英 [m??ld] 美 [mold]vt. 霉菌;模子that society wanted me to fi t in," reads a quote from Ashley Graham, the fi rst plus-size model to appear on the cover of Vogue.
We don't want to see similar beautiful faces on the street, looking like products from the same assembly⑧assembly 英 [?'sembl?] 美 [?'s?mbli] n.
Don't label yourself a certain kind of woman. Be the woman that gets to decide who you are and how you should look. Being different is beautiful; being conf i dent is beautiful;being real is beautiful.
