The Goal of the Archer 射手的目標(biāo)

Achilles was an archery3 teacher in a sports school and had trained many great archers. So many parents sent their children to him. One morning， Achilles took the students to a tall tree for training. He walked to the tree about 20 meters ahead， put a toy bird on the trunk and said， “The task is to shoot the toy bird down.”

The students stood in a line quickly. The first one was Sandy. She walked a few steps forward， put the arrow4 on the string5， drew the bow and aimed at the toy bird.

“Whats over the bird？” asked Achilles suddenly.

“The blue sky，” Sandy answered.

Achilles smiled. He asked Sandy to stand aside. The students wondered what the teachers meaning was， but none of them asked.

The next was Tom. Like Sandy， he walked up. Just as he was ready to shoot the arrow， Achilles asked him the same question.

“I see the trunk and the leaves，” answered Tom. Achilles smiled and asked Tom to stand aside， too.

The third one was Bob. Just as he was drawing the bow， Achilles asked， “Whats over the bird， Bob？” Bob stared6 at the toy bird and said， “I have seen nothing but the toy bird.”

“Great！” said Achilles. Then he shouted， “Go ahead！” Bob shot the arrow and the toy bird fell. The students cheered with one voice. Achilles looked at the surprised students and said seriously， “Remember that when an archer is shooting， he must have only the goal but nothing else.”

阿基里斯是一個(gè)體育學(xué)校的射箭教師，他訓(xùn)練了很多杰出的射手，因此，很多家長(zhǎng)把他們的孩子送到了他那里。一天早上，阿基里斯把學(xué)生們帶到了一棵樹(shù)邊訓(xùn)練。他向前朝著樹(shù)走了大約20米，放了一只玩具鳥(niǎo)在樹(shù)干上，說(shuō)道：“任務(wù)是把這個(gè)玩具鳥(niǎo)打下來(lái)?！?/p>

學(xué)生們很快站成了一行。第一個(gè)是桑迪，她朝前走了幾步，搭箭上弦，拉弓，瞄準(zhǔn)了玩具鳥(niǎo)。

“鳥(niǎo)的上方是什么？”阿基里斯突然問(wèn)。

“是藍(lán)天?！鄙５匣卮稹?/p>

阿基里斯笑了，他讓桑迪站在一邊。學(xué)生們想要知道老師是什么意思，但是沒(méi)有人問(wèn)。

下一個(gè)是湯姆。像桑迪一樣，他走向前去，就在他要射箭的時(shí)候，阿基里斯問(wèn)他同樣的問(wèn)題。

“我看到了樹(shù)干和樹(shù)葉?！睖坊卮?。阿基里斯笑了，讓湯姆也站在了一邊。

第三個(gè)是鮑勃，就在他拉弓的時(shí)候，阿基里斯問(wèn)：“鳥(niǎo)的上方是什么，鮑勃？”鮑勃盯著玩具鳥(niǎo)說(shuō)：“除了玩具鳥(niǎo)，我什么也沒(méi)看到?！?/p>

“好極了！”阿基里斯說(shuō)，然后他大吼一聲：“射！”鮑勃射出一箭，玩具鳥(niǎo)掉了下來(lái)。學(xué)生們齊聲歡呼。阿基里斯看著驚訝的學(xué)生，嚴(yán)肅地說(shuō)：“記住，當(dāng)一個(gè)射手在射箭的時(shí)候，他眼中必須只有目標(biāo)，心無(wú)旁騖?！?
