Our Spring Festival

The Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival in China， and it’s also my favorite festival. We always have a lot of fun at this festival.

First， we clean our house before Spring Festival. We also buy a lot of things for our family and friends， for example， sweets， snacks， new clothes. Next， we put up spring couplets（春聯(lián)） on the door. We also make dumplings and tangyuan for dinner. Then， Spring Festival comes. We get together with our families and have a big dinner. We eat dumplings too. After dinner， we watch TV and fireworks. And our grandparents give us red packets. We are so happy. Finally， on the second day of Spring Festival， people wear new clothes and say “Happy New Year” to each other. We sometimes visit our relatives.
