Sophie showed Grace an old yellow mitten. \"This is my Christmas present for Evan，\" Sophie said.
\"Why just one mitten？\" asked Grace.
\"When Evan wears this mitten， he can pretend he has yellow fur，\"said Sophie.
Sophie put the mitten on a table. She got out a black marker， brown yarn， and two black buttons .The old mitten soon became something new.
The next morning， Evan ran to the Christmas tree. He opened his present from Sophie and laughed.\"Wow， a lion puppet！ Grrowwl！\"
