    Research on problems and countermeasures of water-saving enterprises for petroleum refining in China

    Abstract:Higher requirements on water-saving have been put forward by our country in recent years,especially the goals on establishment of water-saving enterprises have been put forward too,which result in great pressure on water-saving&emission-reducing for petroleum refining.Few reports about establishment of petroleum refining water-saving enterprises can be found in domestic.According to the requirements of our country,the basis for establishing water-saving enterprises was firstly analyzed,and then the main problems on water-using index,such as the preparation coefficient of soft water or desalted water etc.,were intensively studied.Finally, some countermeasures and suggestions were given to solve these problems mentioned above,which can give strong supports for more domestic refining enterprises to meet the requirements of water-saving enterprises.

    Development and application of a temperature control device for an old style heating furnace

    Abstract:To solve the problem of gas pressure instability of Haiwaihe oilfield,in order to make the traditional water-jacketed heating furnace to burn stably,operate efficiently and exploit the potential of gas-saving,the study of automatic control device for heating furnace temperature was carried out.In order to realize the stability of the heating furnace,the special heat conducting oil with higher expansion coefficient has been used as medium,the temperature changes have been detected by using the temperature sensor.The fuel gas flow can be controlled by adjusting the spring valve according to the volume change.In Haiwaihe oilfield site test and application,the temperature of heating furnace is controlled within the set temperature(-3~+3℃),the thermal efficiency of the heating furnace increased by 8%and the gas-saving effect is obvious.

    Optimization of production&dispatch process for multi storage depots

    Abstract:To consider Nan 1 oil depot,Nan 3 oil depot and Bei oil depot of storage and transportation system as a whole,and take the lowest total energy-consumption cost as the goal,a mathematical model for multi station optimization has been established.According to the structural characteristics of the model,the original optimization model can be divided into two sub models by using two level hierarchical optimization methods. They are the optimal pipeline output pressure model and the output temperature model.The two models can besolved by iteration.The production and dispatch scheduling process for multi storage depot can be optimized by using the model in Daqing oilfield,and some process parameters for different oil depot have been made, including optimization of output temperature,pressure and so on.The results show that 10.38%of energy consumption can be reduced by using the optimization scheme under comparing with the original scheme and the energy-saving effect is obvious.

    Feasibility study on application of waste heat refrigeration technology in gas transportation station

    Abstract:Take Trans-Asia Gas Pipeline as an example,according to the output-power-reducing of gas turbine unit caused by high temperature in summer,a waste heat refrigeration solution has been proposed in this paper. The refrigerant flow rate can be controlled by the throttle valve behind the condenser of waste heat refrigeration system,meanwhile use the air which is entering air compressor as refrigerant to cool the air directly.In addition, one model is established to demonstrate the waste heat refrigeration economic indices under different cooling range.The results show that the technology using waste heat to refrigerate the air has great benefit on energy-saving&environmental-protection.Compared with traditional water refrigeration method,the solution proposed in this paper can respond control signal quickly and obtain a wide temperature regulation range in the meantime,also has significant economic benefits and a greater popularization and application worth.

    Research on inverter system for beam pumping unit based on controlled rectifier

    Abstract:According to the problem on the driver for beam pumping unit,in order to solve the work fault of the uncontrolled rectifier during researching,we designed the frequency conversion control system based on controlled rectifier.This system using SCR as the rectifier device,through the software control makes the SCR to be controlled.The control software for driving IGBT was designed based on space vector control PWM with constant voltage frequency ratio control strategy,to make the voltage and frequency of the controlled motor optimum.We used the STM32F107 as the core chip.We completed the prototype of 30 kW controlled rectifier inverter and the field test.Through the field test,the design scheme has significant effects on energy-saving of pumping unit.

    Optimization of heat exchange network for atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit

    Abstract:Optimize the heat exchanger network of atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit from the whole system angle.Based on unchanging the end temperature of heat transfer,the process streams of atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit are saved to be used as heat source of other units.The results show that the energy-saving efficiency of this method is obvious and 6.0 t/h of the steam consumption for other units can be saved,and the adjustment is smaller.The energy-consumption for the whole plant can be saved by using the system analysis method.

    Research on two oil wells driven by one pumping equipment for the cluster well

    Abstract:With developing of Daqing peripheral oilfields,restricted by geographical conditions and cost of investments,the cluster well arrangement is diversified year by year.The beam-pumping unit is generally used in clusterwell,which hasa higherenergy-consumption and lowerefficiency.In orderto reduce the energy-consumption of a cluster well during producing and one-time investment,the research on the energy-saving oil pumping with one-motor-driving-two-oil-wells has been carried out.The control system can be used to drive the motor running in this equipment,a combination of deceleration can be used to drive the pumping unit power and load for reversing motion.It drags a sucker rod to run repeatedly.The self balance can be formed between the sucker rods of two wells,the potential energy for storage and release can be exchange and the balance during running can be realized.Finally the target of two oil wells driven by one oil pumping unit can be reached.Comparing with beam-pumping unit,68 thousand Yuan of investment for one well can be reduced and the average combined electrical saving rate is about 50%.The cost for oilfield development can be reduced and the better energy-saving effect can be obtained by using this technology.

    Application of the skid-mounted oil absorption technology in BeiⅠ-1 crude oil stabilization equipment

    Abstract:The skid-mounted oil absorption technology for stabilization equipment was used firstly in Daqing oilfield.It reduced the restrictions of the area of site and the investment on technology applications.Some problems can be solved by using the skid-mounted oil absorption technology in Bei I-1 crude oil stabilization equipment,such as the low load state and the molecular sieve absorption hydrocarbon in natural gas cryogenic treating unit.The interaction between Bei I-1 crude oil stabilization equipment and Bei I-1 cryogenic treating unit for natural gas can be avoided in maintenance period.After implements,the light hydrocarbon yield from non-condensable gas is 16.3 t/104m3,the recovery rate of C2is 85%,990×104m3/a of treated wet gas can be increased in natural gas cryogenic treating unit,800 t/a of hydrocarbon and 2780 t/a of light hydrocarbon can be increased by using this technology.60×104kWh of power for propane refrigerator,crude oil stabilization equipment and cryogenic unit can be saved per year.

    Application of new technology in exhaust steam recovery

    Abstract:The direct discharge for exhaust steam from Shengli petrochemical plant has been used and a large amount of heat has been lost during discharging.Meanwhile,the thermal pollution and the noise pollution are also caused by the surrounding environment.These problems can be solved by using KLAR exhaust steam recovery technology.At the same time,the energy can be saved and considerable economic benefits are created. The national policy on energy-saving&emission-reducing has been implemented during producing while the working environment is being continuously improved.

    Feasibility study on application of small-sized gas generator set in No.7 oil production plant

    Abstract:In the summer,through reducing the temperature and amount of mixing water to double-pipe process flow in old oilfield and single-pipe process flow in outer oilfield,adjusting the single-pipe cool oil gathering process in northern Putaohua area,it can reduce greatly the consumption of associated gas.Gas production rate is greater than the gas consumption.Because of no downstream users,surplus gas can’t be used effectively. Redundant gas has to be vented to prevent the pressure-out and reduce the influence of crude oil output,but it will waste a great deal of energy.In order to solve this problem,we study the conditions of using small-sized gas generator and survey surplus associated gas production in our plant,and determine the reasonable scale of small-sized gas generator,further consider which one should drive the load.Through a series of research,we can determine the feasibility on the application of small-sized gas generator set and find a new way of using the associated gas.

    Technology research and application on submersible direct driving type screw pump

    Abstract:In the late stage of oilfield development,with the increasing of water content and the general applying of the tertiary oil recovery methods such as polymer flooding,in order to reduce the production cost and increase the economic benefits,according to conditions of oil reservoir,the mode of production in different exploitation stages has become the key point.The screw pump oil production has attracted more and more attention in the domestic and foreign oilfields,because of its low investment,simple structure,easy operation,energy-saving and strong adaptability,etc.The submersible direct driving screw pump as a new rodless oil recovery equipment can be used in high viscosity,wax content,containing crude oil sand mining,and can effectively solve these problems existing in the oil production system with rod pump,such as sucker rod breaking,rod and tubing side wearing, limited using in the deep wells and inclined wells.From studying the technology of submersible direct driving type screw pump,the technical principles and characteristics have been analyzed in this paper.And through the field application,the technology has a significant effect of energy-saving&consumption-reducing,and a very broad application prospects.

    Application of energy-saving oil pumping unit in oilfield

    Abstract:Oil pumping unit is the main energy-consuming equipment.It has been used widely because of its reliable structure,and is about 65%of the mechanical recovery equipments.Currently the main types of oil pumping unit used commonly is a conventional beam pumping unit,a tower type pumping unit,a bias beam pumping unit and a dwarf type of out-phase crank pumping unit.Selection of oil pumping unit type should reference the rated load.However,because of the complicated downhole situation,in order to meet requirements of oilfield production,the type selection must reference oil pumping unit structural features and theenergy-consumption level.After comparative tests,the tower type pumping unit has the best energy-saving effect, the active saving-power rate is 29.88%;the active saving-power rate for out-phase compound balance pumping unit is 9.33%;the dwarf type out-phase crank pumping unit is suitable for low load wells,the active saving-power rate is 15.60%.For heavy oil recovery,the tower type pumping unit with long-stroke and low frequency of stroke should be recommended,for light oil and small fluid production oil wells,it is recommended to use a dwarf type out-phase crank pumping unit.Because the ordinary beam pumping unit is easy to be transformed by using out-phase compound balance unit,for changing-less oil wells,it is suitable to be used for energy-saving renovation.

    Application of portable-multifunctional maintenance instrument for frequency conversion system in oilfield

    Abstract:Because of lack of maintenance technology and test equipment during application of frequency conversion in oilfield, the portable multifunctional maintenance instrument for frequency conversion system has been developed.The fault location can be determined accurately by using this instrument under datacom or non-data communication conditions.The maintenance time for frequency converter can be reduced effectively and the repair rate can be increased greatly.The common trouble shooting methods and processes for frequency converter have been summarized in this paper.It can play the role of energy-saving for a long time.

    Optimization of glycol dehydration system in Sanan shallow refrigeration plant

    Abstract:The refrigeration temperature in Sanan shallow refrigeration plant drops from-25℃to-35℃after its refrigerant changed from ammonia to propane,the shallow refrigeration plant use propane as a refrigerant instead of ammonia,which causes frozen blocking frequently.After studying the positions and phenomenon of frozen blocking,the reasons caused frozen blocking is found.The frozen blocking can be avoided by optimizing the injection amount of glycol solution,the temperature control in glycol regeneration tower and the liquid level control system in the second three-phase-separator.16×104kWh of power for electric heater can be saved per year.     Production-increasing&consumption-reducing realized by optimizing work parameters on water blending process for heavy oil well

    Abstract:The water blending process has been used widely because of the characteristics of this technology,such as low investment and high return,stable production process,no-affecting pump efficiency,no pollution formation.By investigating 48 wells of water blending at 9 block of Gudong oilfield,there are 32 wells or times with poor effect,which affect the normal production.The main factors are unreasonable work parameters for water blending process,technology and management factors,which can lead to the water cut increasing fast in heavy oil well,oil production dropping,severe polished rod corrosion and well-stopping due to clogging pipeline. In order to solve the main factors of water blending,the technicians,managers and workers of 401injection-production station put forward and carried out the optimization working parameters of heavy oil well, formulated the corresponding improvement measures and obtained a better effect of increasing oil production and reducing consumption.At the end of December 2015,1850 t of oil has been increased,2.3×104m3of water blending can be saved,54.38×104Yuan of direct economic benefits can be obtained.

    Effect analysis on reducing mixed water for oil well

    Abstract:Mixing water at room temperature is a common method for the transportation of crude oil.Watering system pressure is the key to decide the crude oiltransported atambienttemperature,and the energy-consumption to keep the watering temperature is also an important part of oil production.The unreasonable factors on the volume of water mixed in crude oil have been analyzed in this paper.Mixed water for oil transferring can be decreased by controlling mixed water in the single well and adjusting the displacement of mixing pump and changing the blending mode.This technique used in large-scale application can save a lot of energy.

    Discussion on enhancing energy-consumption management for oil&gas gathering and transportation system

    Abstract:Oil&gas gathering and transportation system is an important link and the main energy-consumption link in the oil&gas exploitation,the project investment is generally accounted for about 50%of the total investment for surface engineering,the energy-consumption accounts for about 35%of oil&gas field production energy-consumption,with the development of global oil and gas prices decline and a low carbon economy,the saving-energy & consumption-reducing has become an important part of oil and gas field work.The energy-saving technology for oil&gas gathering and transportation system has bee analyzed in this paper.The energy-saving renovation has been carried out in Changqing oilfield.After comparing with monitoring,422.25× 104kWh of power,1950 t of oil and 129.75×104m3of natural gas can be saved in 2014.

    Decreasing the test error of thermal conductivity coefficient for heat preservation material

    Abstract:The heat preservation material is widely used for thermal insulation pipes,storage tanks,equipments, etc in Xinjiang oilfield during oilfield producing.The heat preservation material performances have significantly influence in oilfield production and saving-energy&consumption-reducing,the thermal conductivity coefficient is one of the important indicators for the heat preservation material.The accurate test is very important to the manufacturer sales and users.The test error of thermal conductivity coefficient can be reduced effectively by selecting the equipment type and standardizing the operation,which is particularly important to improve the accuracy and reliability of test results.
