The lecturer on evolution had been going on for nearly two hours.

“Let me ask the evolutionist a question，if we had tails like a baboon， where are they？”said the teacher.

“Ill venture an answer，”said an old lady， “We have worn them off sitting here so long.”

教進(jìn)化論的老師已經(jīng)滔滔不絕地講了將近兩個(gè)小時(shí)。

老太太說(shuō)話很有技巧，巧妙地借回答老師提問(wèn)的機(jī)會(huì)，說(shuō)出了自己想說(shuō)的話——聽眾坐的時(shí)間太長(zhǎng)了，如果屁股后面長(zhǎng)著尾巴，它也會(huì)被磨掉的。
