土樓公舍的設(shè)計(jì)將中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)客家土樓的居住文化與低收入住宅研究結(jié)合在一起，將居住、商店、公共娛樂(lè)等功能集中于一個(gè)建筑體量，創(chuàng)造出溫馨的小社區(qū)。為城市低收入人群提供具有高水準(zhǔn)設(shè)計(jì)的廉租住宅。2008年首座實(shí)驗(yàn)性集合住宅“萬(wàn)匯樓”落成。建筑面積13,711m2，總戶(hù)數(shù)為287，可居住1860人。

The architects created a warm and friendly community by combining the traditional culture of living of the Hakka people with the research on housing for low-income families. The design integrated the functions of dwelling, shopping mall and public place of entertainment into one single building, providing low-rent housing for the lowincome group in the city. Wan Hui Lou, the first experimental collective housing, was completed in 2008 with an area of 13,711m2and a total of 287 units to accommodate 1860 residents.
